Are there composites of what all the different farms look like now?
Are there composites of what all the different farms look like now?
http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Farm_Maps
I really like the look of the Hilltop Farm.
I went with the forest map because of the easy access to tree stumps.
I went with the forest map because of the easy access to tree stumps.
I might try the Fishing village but it's a pain to start over (Especially with the fucking Artisan, Quality and animal bundles. EUGHHHHHHHHHH) I feel like i'll just take my time with that one and try to make it look nice. My old one is just me and a little tiny fucking stretch of Melon crops that make about 16k. It's not really nice.
Man it's so liberating not caring about min-maxing everything and just doing whatever you want. I'm probably not going to get married until by year 3, nor get the highest marks on [sp]grandpa's evaluation[/sp] but fuck it I'm having fun.
Does anyone have a link for a time mod? . Days go way too fast
Does anyone have a link for a time mod? . Days go way too fast
The same mod that fixes the diagonal movement speed also has an option to change the length of the day. Here.
1.11 is out. http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791440692154/announcements/detail/814414713570054190
Changelog: - Farm bulidings can now be placed in more areas, including on grass. - All the new farm maps now provide some kind of fishing opportunity, although the Riverlands farm is still superior - The Riverlands farm now has the potential to spawn splashing fish nodes and ore panning nodes. - On the Riverlands and Forest maps, some bushes can be destroyed with an upgraded axe - Digging spots now appear on the Farm, although less frequent as elsewhere. The Hill-Top farm quarry also has a chance of spawning them. - Slime Egg prices increased (green to 1000g, blue to 1750g, red to 2500g, purple to 5000g) - Placing a Wicked Statue in a slime hutch prevents the witch from cursing it. - Mutant Bug Lair now replenishes itself a bit each day. - On the Forest map, forage items have a chance to spawn on any grassy area, not just in the west. Bug Fixes: Price of Galaxy Dagger has been corrected to 35,000 (it was at 350,000) The Artisan Perk description has been corrected to reflect the actual bonus (it's 40% now, but the description still says 50%) Weeds in the Mutant Bug Lair no longer change with the season (and no longer turn to battery packs in the winter) Monsters in the mutant bug lair will now always be mutant... not revert to the standard grub/fly after saving and reloading. Meteorites can no longer land on top of stumps or boulders You can once again place buildings in the little shaded strip right below cliffs. Fixes a crash that could occur while saving after seeing a town improvement cutscene on the Wilderness farm. Forage no longer spawns under stumps. Spring onions and seasonal berries can be iridium quality with the botanist perk Truffles should no longer spawn in the water Pets can no longer walk down the cellar stairs into the void. The Outlaw boss in Journey Of The Prairie King will warp back to the center of the map if he happens to run too far off screen in either direction Coop animals can now actually produce higher quality produce, like they were supposed to You can no longer fill your watering can at a well that's in construction The forage berry bushes are now affected by the botanist perk Forage items shouldn't spawn in inaccessible places. When you reach level 5 or 10 in a skill, but haven't slept yet, it no longer shows your new profession as "Desperado" Fixed issue where lightning that struck an object on the farm would cause that object to "pop" into the current map when the current map was not the farm. Spouses will now speak to you when they come home on Friday nights. Trees can no longer spread off the map into the void, causing the game to start getting slower with each day. Minor convenience adjustments and bug fixes.
Does the Riverlands map only draw from the River fish set? If it draws from the Ocean and Lake sets I could see it being useful but otherwise I don't why you'd play it except for aesthetics.
Just river fish from my experience.

Which is literally "you can fish for a couple hours in the morning while you wait for everything to open"
Shane's new events are pretty depressing...
I kinda want to boot this back up, but I'm trying to hold out until I can play with a friend. Don't want almost all the enjoyment to be sucked out beforehand, but I'm also just a nut for co-op games. Here's to hoping Chucklefish doesn't dick it up.
Shane's new events are pretty depressing...
Even after marriage, he says stuff like this: [sp]https://embed.gyazo.com/de5e7530d1f0161150ec0f50431c1c71.png[/sp]

I don't wanna get sucked down a harvest moon shaped hole. [editline]11th October 2016[/editline] Not just yet anyway

Not this year is all they said.
I gave the bouquet to Penny, went to the mines and got Abigails 10 heart event? The game says I have 10 hearts with her even though the last two are locked
I gave the bouquet to Penny, went to the mines and got Abigails 10 heart event? The game says I have 10 hearts with her even though the last two are locked
It happens.
Coming to Switch. Does anybody know if we can transfer saves?
I gave up the game on PC during winter, I'm glad I did that, cause I'm going to rediscover everything on Switch.
I'm really excited for this to come out on the switch, but at the same time, kind of intimidated by it. Judging from what I've seen, this game has a LOT of different mechanics. Would you guys say it comes pretty naturally to you, or does it get pretty confusing?

I feel free to discover and enjoy the game at my own pace. I'm in Fall of year one currently and having a good time. There are a lot of different mechanics that take a bit to grasp but at the same time there's no real penalties in the long run. It will just take longer to get where you want to be if you mess up. Don't sweat it and take it at your own pace and you'll have a lot of fun. To answer your question more directly, there's a few things that aren't explained, like how to win the Autumn festival or which gifts each character likes to receive, but on the whole you'll figure out what you need through experimentation, again with no real long-term failure consequences.
Definitely going to miss the mouse control, unless they've updated the controls with controllers to be somewhat better.
Are the developers still planning or working on implementing multiplayer for this game?
multiplayer beta is said to start late december 2017, release is so far scheduled late q1 2018 l early q2
Definitely going to miss the mouse control, unless they've updated the controls with controllers to be somewhat better.
Doesn't the Switch have a touchscreen?
Too bad they didn't use the touchscreen when you're in tablet mode, I had some trouble at first with the control, but the game fit the Switch perfectly.
This and Golf Game on switch... the fuck do I play?!
