I'm fairly sure in some states you don't even need a permit. At least, when I visited Virginia people sure acted like they didn't need one. :v:

So I've been fucking around with goon ever since I got it working and I'm going to spoiler the rest in case people care about Solarium in this thread but [sp]I used spooky admin powers to get all the keys I thought were required to shove down the automaton's throat and gave him the book, yet all that happens is some spooky suspicious man appears in the Solarium and just teleports to a different part of the ship when I get near him. This shit is spooky but it seems kind of pointless. I just wanted to beat the server to death and go to glitchstation.[/sp]

I'll be honest, the only reason I even played goon was for the Adventure stuff and Solarium. It's just so well done. But requiring a large amount of competent people kind of makes it extremely hard to do.

I was a robotisict for the secodn time ever and the HoP walks in and asks for two cyberhearts. I got halfway though removing his and installing the second one before getting stuck and having to keep re-checking the guide. he asks me "Just hurry up and install it, I am DYING here!" So i was like "Sorry this is my second time ever and first time doing surgery." As he began to peter out he was able to force out something along the lines of [I]"You mean... to say... you are doing a HEART.. TRANSPLANT... ON YOUR... SECOND... DAY!!!![/I] It was at this point a REAL doctor cam in and finished off the surgery, he only had one cyber heart and was nearly dead due to me fucking up the staplers, so he needed MORE surgery to have the extra staples removed and a shit tonne of styptic powder. I told him "Ok I have re-read the guide, I can do the surgery for the other heart if you like." To which HIS response was "NOOOOOONONONONONONONOONO! NO THANK YOU! NO WAY, I'M FINE THANKS!"

Things are about to change for SS13. A master coder has upgraded the netcode.
