Needless to say, I had to quickdraw on him and live out my days as a vigilante against crime, in hiding.

Me and a couple other loyalists take over cargo and everything is going peachy, slowly implanting more and more crew. Then a rev scientist with three gold cores put an end to it.
I made a smoke grenade containing impedrezene, cryptobiolin, space drugs, ethanol, mercury and lithium. I made the mistake of stepping into the resulting smoke. I couldn't play for like 5 minutes, and then I was killed by the Faithless because I couldn't run away.
Well, played this game for the first time tonight. My first game consisted of hanging out in the bar as a tourist until everyone was suddenly killed by a wandering tesla thing while we talked about whether we should evacuate.
10/10 I believe I will enjoy SS13.

this fallout13 server is pretty damn fun, recommend checking it out
only been up like 12 hours but it's already hit peak populations
What's so fantastic about it is they've got the idea just right. Vault dwellers can't respawn as vault dwellers, they can as wastelanders. Wastelanders can respawn too. It essentially makes it so that the wasteland is never empty and boring.

Don't take important command jobs like CE unless you know what you're doing, you'll just piss people off and potentially net yourself a jobban if you manage to screw anything up, depending on the server. Start off as an engineer or assistant or something, learn that way.

Station got radiation blasted on Hippie and someone suggested it could be a round type all on it's own, and then someone asked where you're supposed to go to not get affected by the radiation. I told him maint, and then almost immediately got banned from OOC for 5 minutes.:what:

Yup, that's the colossus, the hardest megafauna mob (imo) at the moment.
On death, it drops a black box, the items inside persist through rounds, but I think they're changing the reward to something else, since one of the servers' (Basil, Sybil rounds generally end too early to find and kill colossus.) black box got bloated with wizard and deathsquad stuff.
Sounds OP but you need to defeat that, 2500 hp, 2-3 hits and you're fucked.
Lavaland in general is great, the ghost roles are fantastic because you know someone is going to FUCK UP and lure a boss to your base.

Avoid "rp" servers at least the ones I've played (baystation, auora, para, yog) urist is alright for what it is. most rp servers force you quote on quote "roleplay" so you can't microwave anything unless you're a chef, or know what a gun is unless you're a head, stuff like that.
also, citidale station is a furry vore server where security carries id tagged weapons and use id tagged gear so avoid that as well
