yes I saw it
you're proving my point
the heck do you want then, goof! you dislike balancing & you dislike actual legitimate genuine content that got my only coder repobanned and now everyone hates me forever
Yeah it really does end the round because it gives everyone radiation+hallucinations, destroys engineering, atmos, telecomms, and destroys power unless someone orders and sets up a second engine (lol) or solars gets set up (whats the point).
He's boinking you because you just fucked shit up majorly as a non-antag, thats what admims do amigo. He doesn't know if you did it on purpose, or if you really didn't know.
If you want to experiment with the engine, ask other players while you do it. Experimenting with the stations extremely volatile deadly is not like experimenting with chemistry or botany. You literally hold other peoples rounds in your hand.
This isn't just a TG thing. They might not bwoink you about it on Goon, but on literally every other station, blowing up the engine on a nonantag is going to have an admin ask you why the fuck it happened.
Yeah blowing up the engine is pretty annoying, but it doesn't end the round or even remotely affect some people. Oh no people might have to reconstruct the comms, and maybe set up the gas engine that's never set up before because the engine never explodes.
I don't really mind that an admin might message me like "did you do that on purpose?", what I mind is that he linked me to the wiki page where it describes how to set it up perfectly and to never let the engine explode again. That's not why I play ss13 lmao.
Yeah blowing up the engine is pretty annoying.
what's this engine your talking about?

If you turn on all 3 emitters without setting up the gas loop properly, it'll explode within 30 seconds. (Which is what I did).

Cool, I've only played on Singularity powered stations.
Good ol Singuloth

Super Tesla or bust, bonus points if you extort more collectors from cargo.
ss13 is dead
it's time to let go and play actual video games instead of arguing traitor vs sec balance for the 2 billionth time
b-but FREON
Had a fun round on /tg/, as warden. Early on, medical gets bombed, HoS dies and never gets found, and after some back and forth with what we're guessing revs, the comms get sabotaged. As I'm repairing some of the windows in the brig, virologist runs in, I chase her off with a taser, she comes back and says she's looking for the CMO, who was for whatever reason, AFK infront of the permabrig.
I leave her to tend to the CMO and check on the sensors, dealing with a few suicides. About fast forward twenty minutes later, all officers except one gone, he grabs a hardsuit and goes to help the AI against a traitor. However I wasn't fast enough throw him an e-gun. Decided to shrug it off and go check on a dead officer in EVA. Got them to cloning but they weren't able to be cloned. Bag their gear and bring it back to the lockers. At this point, Captain(or someone) calls the shuttle.
Make one last run outside the brig to check on T-comms as the AI reports about an intruder. Get there to see the CE and an engineer repairing it, so I head back to the brig.
First thing I notice is that a few of the gear lockers is open, including mine. The Virologist and a scientist are there. I know this can only mean one thing. Before I can take cover, the scientist hits me with an e-bow and the virologist starts shooting.
Just barely have enough time to get a shotgun out and drop them both. Figure things are too fucked to be arresting anyone, beat them both to death on the spot, it's kill or be killed. Scientist's last words for me are asking me not to let the shuttle be recalled. The head of personnel then runs in and asks "What the fuck did you just do?", he carts the virologist off. I didn't care, shuttle was about three minutes out, I reload my shotgun, then charge two e-guns.
After that, went and started making my way to escape, just in the corner of the screen do I see the Virologist running down the hall. I debate whether they're a ling or not and decide that the pod in the brig might be safer. As I'm nearly there, the Head of Personnel starts chatting with me and asks why there was so much loot out. He takes out a E-bow and shoots at me, misses, in retaliation I pump him with a full box of buckshot and laser him to death.
I go back to the armory for one last reload and see the Virologist run in, tased her immediately and cuffed her. Debate for a few seconds whether I should execute them then and there, decided not to and went to the pod. Search their backpack and find an emag inside their emergency box, they keep quiet about what they were after. Round ends and it turns out the Virologist was after the hypospray on the CMO. Out of habit I put their backpack on a few seconds before the pods reached CentCom.
The Scientist I killed had the objectives of preventing an MD from escaping and dying, they and the virologist must've been helping themself to the armory while exchanging gear, turns out they had a briefcase quantum pad just on the ground, I didn't know what it was, but they figured I was onto them and opened fire first. The head of personnel had the objective of killing me.
Then, two changelings, which I never seen/heard of, also had the objective of killing me.
-too much words-
I was the HoP that round. I was hoping to ebow you for a stun and and try and gib you with a minibomb for an easy assassinate target. You sidestepped just at the right time though. :frown:
I had never bothered playing on large servers before until today. I can't believe I sat comfortable for 7 hours playing as a bartender.

Round of bartending cut short after I gave a mime tequila. Little bastard whipped out a crossbow and shot me in the head.

Traitor mimes tend to be the worst, there's only so many times you can play the silent killer card before it gets boring.
That's why you go the "the loud silent killer" way: as a mime just plant bombs at random places and heck things up good
You could be a mime who renounces his vow of silence just as he succeeds in his mission so he can tell everyone they got fucking wrecked over the radio.
Haven't played SS13 in like a year and a half and I just tried Goon again.
They have a trait you can add to your character that gives him a Scottish accent.
Shit's great.

BTW, I remember a while back there was a nifty little program to look up all the publicly available chemistry recipes on goon. Would anyone have a link to it again?
Here you go: I haven't updated it, but it can give you a good idea how to make the majority of chems:

the closed-source nature of goon makes exploration and discovery that much more rewarding

that one dead pod person really completes it
i've been playing medbay recently after doing surgery in the bar to change people's sex.
i think if i become a traitor doctor i'm going to put remote detonated grenades in people's groins and see what happens from there
what did the devs meaneed by hthsos???
So I picked up space station 13 without any context to what the game is, with a decent tutorial that got me familiarized with the UI.
People keep beaking at me for cleaning the floors but it's not my fault that they keep stabbing eachother.

did you put down your sign
there's nothing better as a janitor than watching people slip up and down the halls and just silently pointing at your wet floor sign and mopping their horizontal sprite because their skull is bleeding after slipping at mach 10 into a wall
