For those that have played on lavaland stations, what the hell am I supposed to do against Blood-Drunk Miners? They just rush me down and cut my ass into pieces before I can figure out what the hell is going on.

Goldsteelio doesn't want to let me unban you unless you apply for an unban on the forums which I think is a tad dumb. I am very sorry you had a poor experience on vg, and I wish I could have helped make things right. :(

If all else fails, yell for help and someone might be able to retrieve your corpse. Once you have better KA modifications or get the other miners to help you should be able to kill it since I don't think it has much health, at least compared to other megafauna.

Blood Drunk miner is one of the weaker megafauna, I've seen two doctors with saws and drills take him down before, albeit the only noteworthy loot is his special melee weapon and KA.

Bring brutepatches and survival medipens from the mining vendor and blooddrunk miner is ez pz, just remember to upgrade your armor with plates it really helps.

I don't understand ss13 too well. Usually I just ko the chef and pull his teeth out from his meat hook.

during my tenure as admin I lowkey campaigned against the ability to play as catbeast as will purely because it caused so much confusion and conflict during situations where a catbeast might have acted against the rules that would normally apply only to catbanned players

I got both my legs chopped off while wearing it, got out the hockey stick, reflected EVERY single laser they fired at me(The entire armoury worth, I believe?) and killed four crewmembers. With no legs.

Not that I am complaining, at the same time shotguns are getting very popular on hippie so I guess its not a problem right now.

I was playing Hippie latenight this Saturday morning (around 1 AM). Got assigned captain two times in a round despite the role priority being set to low in this respect. This experience as captain was perhaps the most enlightening as to how much shitlery people can get away with as non-antag, because there was a whole lot of it. In the two rounds that I've done it, there was at least one super-shitter, two shitters, and one traitor antag in each round who have done so little compared to the jerkwads - both times, that antag was unsuccessful in their goals as well. Probably because they had to deal with a paranoid as heck captain. Mind you, I rarely play captain or security. I thought people were getting mindslaved, or that I had to deal with blood brothers or something, but no. People were just out to be complete idiots. I hear the AI telling me about the clown (non-antag, as later discovered) murdering someone with a chainsaw, some idiot who kept insulting and threatening not just me over the PDA, but everyone else. Think they got lynched by someone later on because I didn't hear from them later in that round. There was otherwise all sorts of stupid things going on that I had to put up with. It was incredible. If there was anything I'm thankful for, it was the roboticist who made robots for me to at least maintain some sort of control over the station - although it didn't really phase them too much. Ultimately, I think it was people bending the rules as far as they can without actually breaking them. Good thing I got to bend the rules with them, and I ended up killing someone twice in those two rounds. I've stuck to brigging people in the second round (which also failed, because the non-antags acquired the antags emag and started emagging a crapload of things on the second round.)

Like fucking clockwork some greytiding engineer (it was ALWAYS an engineer) would hack the door open and try to make a rush for the spareID and my laser gun (The former of which would be squarely between my asscheeks at this point). But I would sit there Egun in hand and just stun them down and shoot to kill the second they put one foot on my nice wood flooring.

I play as detective. I don't interact with anyone past my job but you I still interrogate people assuming some shithead CSI or security officer doesn't steal the one moment where you actually do something. As my experience as detective where its my job to know about people, heres what I've gathered from the community: 100% of people who play security have the emotional stability of west coast gays. 90% of cat races have a rape related backstory. 100% of cat races speak like khajiits. 100% of lizard races speak like argonians. 90% of dog races play security so they have an excuse to pounce on someone. 100% of gardeners are druggies. (Bless these people because it actually gives me something to do.) 100% of Ninjas/Wizards are peaceful. 100% of IPCs are covert shitposters who secretly hate everything that happens on this server. It's high RP but it's bad high RP so most people aren't going to like it.
