Oh god clowns were added to Barotrauma. I managed to get the suit and mask by stealing them from an engineer. I immediately got lynched.
Wow, literally two days after I started playing it too.

If you guys are enjoying Barotrauma you should probably register on the forums to provide feedback for it, collaborate and such.

I think I'll do this, also, I've noticed the maker is pretty active in the 4chan /vg/ thread for it.

We had an Improv TDM on Barotrauma
It was a ship with split sec/Captain (East) and engineers/mechanics (west) and we were told to kill the other side
West ran out of the airlock and died of pressure except for me and someone else
I then managed to kill the whole other side by letting THEIR airlock open :v:
We ended up winning
That was amazing
Wish that Barotrauma didn't lack servers

What the hell is this question to register for the forums, what programming language was used?
I can't find this info page and idk which game is meant

Sorry about that, the creator of Barotrauma also made SCP: Containment Breach and for most of their life the forums have been exclusively for that game until Baro came around. A lot of remnants of that remain. The correct answer should be Blitz3D
[editline]17th February 2016[/editline]
Me or my friends will talk to the creator soon and see if we can sort it out.

It's funny because a SCP breach is basically a normal ss13 round. Monsters everywhere, people die, shit gets worse than the worst thing, everything dies, reset.
blitz3d is asking for bad performance later down the road.
Blob round on Hippie. I was the AI. Someone asked on radio if he should release the sing since it might eat the blob in engi maint. I said no.
Ten minutes later, the Sing eats me out of nowhere because the idiot didn't listen and released it anyways.
:why:

Did they promptly use fire on the blob once they realized the singulo didn't work

All my telecrystals on they started fighting each other and increased the body count in Medbay for no reason.
I think Camille is legitimately insane

Publicly admitting to metagaming hardcore and getting a day ban out of it and then trying to defend totally breaking the rules to hell and back. At some point he has to realize that his idea that admins being out to get him is based on the fact he is trying to get admins out to get him.
He'll probably have an aneurysm when he realizes teleport armor is being nerfed a good amount (25% chance of teleporting rather than 50%, and a slowdown that makes you super slow.)
I vouched for complete removal of the TP armor as a roundstart item for the RD and rather make it an expensive RnD item, but that nerf is fine too.

If it ran on batteries that would be great too.

Don't they provide no protection other than teleportation already?

He'll go to an absurd length to talk about himself and sway subjects to be about him and it's getting to the point where it's bordering Egomaniacal.
It's pretty sad when you take a moment to look at what's actually going on.
I just don't get how it is fun to power game to hell and back. I basically just wonder around for the few times I play nowadays. The true fun is in getting in situations where you have to think to get around, rather than just figuring out how to catch antags in 2 seconds.
Things like how to escape from a locked rook with limited items, niche uses of tools and that. Remote signallers to lock areas down, do cool little gimmicks and such.
Does Hippie not have a rule 0 cause holy shit that guy sounds like garbage

They do, but nobody wants to enforce it for some reason
Nearly every admin is tired of his shit, though. Next ban will probably lead to him getting perma'd.
And just going to leave these Barotrauma screenshots here:

Pretty much this, and make it have a 15-30 second random cooldown between jumps when flinging.
Barotrauma related
Funnily enough i found the VG servers to be the best since they got admins that actually work against griefing
They seem to be aware though that ever since video's have been made on it, more griefers and newbies join up wrecking shit
It's a shame that Hippie seems to always attract people like the former, even though he's nothing like that

Personally I don't think it makes sense to be in the RD's possession because it's not like it helps him do any aspect of his job at all. The way I see it is that science's whole shtick is to get robust by doing something complicated, whereas an engineer or an assistant can get themselves a weapon and a means of disabling people right off the bat, Bottany can grow an array of plants that can do all sorts of funny things. Medical can get their hands on some pretty bullshit chems or deck themselves out with a supervirus and cargonia can have a swiss army murder tool set mailed directly to their chair.
Science however has to work hard for their "edge" doing R&D to get guns or a telepad, farming slimes for a golem army, Making and emagging enough cyborgs or (god forbid) actually getting the materials and going on a mech rampage. If you class genetics as science then you also have the super time consuming RNG lottery that is the superpowers list. Now not to say this is bullshit, far from it, I think science should be all about having to put some effort in to become more powerful that your average toolboxer could ever imagine, that should be how the game works, either you find the job fun or it's capacities fit the style of the thing you wanna do this round.
In order to reflect this it'd be nice if the prototype hard-suit was upgradeable in some way, perhaps being able to install the various HUDS into the helmet, adding plating to make it stronger (possible late game reactive teleport upgrade?) enhanced servos for running faster, a built in jet-pack, integrated combination RCD/RPED that can link to the R&D database to build machines and print parts for them on the fly?
It all depends on what the ultimate "goal" of a science player is, and usually they want to try for that sweet sweet high power endgame where you are a night literal god with powerful guns, turbo armour riding around in a heavy duty battlemech with your own personal army of slimes or golems or aliums or whatever.
Or you could just spam bombs and go braindead when you get caught planting them... whatever.

From Citadel according to someone on reddit
Is there a way to hack open those annoying lockboxes you get when you made a weapon in the Protolathe, or do you always need an ID with Armory access?

I'm not sure but I THINK a ripley can drill them open.
I think emitters can open them.
I think emitters can open them.
Emitters can only open crates and lockers.
Emitters can only open crates and lockers.
On Hippie's: When a new one is ordered in Cargo, they come in locked crates.
*breaks into Engineering*
There is however an unused emitter in an abandoned room below Atmospherics and east of Engineering. Where it stands serves completely no purpose. You need to unweld and unsecure it first with a welder and a wrench, plus other tools to break into the room. Since the south wall is dominated by a large window, all you need is a space-safe suit (hardsuit, EVA suit , etc.) and those aforementioned tools and smash the window.

These days it's just common practise for a cargo tech to hack their way through maint in order to nab it, also bringing it to Cargo as a clown is a sure fire way to have Cargonia at your disposal for the whole round.
