When everything cool in a game is just because of a QTE I have no interest, it's pure spectacle, no actual game, make a fucking movie instead imo
Incredibly weak showing from Sony as well, I can't believe they thought ending it with a spiderman game was a great idea
I love swinging around in spider-man games but I'm not going to get a ps4 or xbone till KH3 drops.
Sony was definitely underwhelming, no KH3, a lot of games looked average, too much VR.
So far:
Ubisoft > EA > Microsoft/Sony > Bethesda.
If nintendo drops like a new luigi's mansion they could top ubisoft.
TLOU II could've saved the presentation at the end. Such a missed opportunity.

I feel like I'd like the superhero-ing part of Spider-Man more if it wasn't just dumb QTEs. And the part that isn't QTEs is just standard Arkham fare. I gotta say, pretty disappointing.

Playstation's conference was safe, they missed a lot of stuff, and didn't show a bunch of other stuff. It was far from bad, God of War showcase along with Days Gone and more Horizon content is very welcome. But I feel like their game showcase apart from those was less exciting than Microsoft's (console exclusives not really playing into that judgement, as both Microsoft and Sony showcased plenty of non-exclusives). Their conference started off strong, and kind of died out at the end imo. Though it should be noted that i'm not a big Marvel guy.
The actual conference itself was awful, the fucking camera work was atrocious, and the stream had a bunch of issues.
