Is this the new Dante from DmC mobile edition?
- odyssey
- arms
- splatoon 2
- pokken
- xenoblade
- zelda dlc
- rabbids
- just dance 2018
- one final suprise, a new switch game that hasn't been announced yet: either a port (smash) or a new entry in an already established series (animal crossing)
i think this is a pretty reasonable list of what to expect today during nintendo. remember that the spotlight is going to feature only switch titles coming in 2017
reggie also said that there will be more stuff announced in the first hour of the treehouse but i don't know what to make of it
Snipperclips wasn't included in the original Direct but announced during Treehouse so I expect them to do it again with 1-2 new games.
For the Direct, I think they will announce 1-2 new ports and at least one complete new game while showing off new content for already announced games.
Everything in rapid fire of course, since it's only 25 minutes.
eh, my list is also based on that best buy canada site that listed three new switch games up for preorder but to be still announced at e3 (again: rabbids, just dance 2018 and a yet to be releaved today game)
What? Damn, hopefully it's not just one new game or port in the end. Just Dance was already shown.
When is Nintendo happening again?
In 7 hours from now.
When is Nintendo happening again?
6hrs 45mins. 9PST.
What? Damn, hopefully it's not just one new game or port in the end.
keep in mind that the last game could very well be fifa 18 that was also reveaed during this e3. but the "three games up for preorder that have to be announced yet at e3" could also all be speculation and they only put up those three placeholders to complement the layout of the site (sony, microsoft and nintendo all have 5 games each on the e3 preorder page)
solokiller`og;52351873']CS:GO is an old classic? Damn i'm old.
It's 5 years old and the gameplay doesn't differ since 2001.
Few thoughts about E3 this year, feels very bare, not very many "wow" announcements - probably stemming from companies blowing their load year-round anyway. I half expected Sony to not have many announcements from the sheer amount of games that have been announced in the past few years that are still not out yet.
Evil Within 2 was a nice surprise, nice to see it getting a spotlight. Wolfenstein 2 looks decent, new characters seem boring/uninspired however. MvCI looks like hot garbage, DBZ FighterZ could be good if it has a decent amount of content and some more polish. Far too many boring cinematic/scripted open world games in all conferences in general (it is e3 after all).
Nintendo are going to have to do a lot in 30 minutes apart from Mario Odyssey to make people want to buy a switch. Just make a switch Animal Crossing game, it prints money.

nintendo is always happening somewhere in the world
It's 5 years old and the gameplay doesn't differ since 2001.
well tbh the gameplay between 1.6 and GO is pretty different I would say.
yeah the core and concept is still the same, but a lot have changed, from maps, strats to skills.
Devolver Digital pre pre show, should be able to find videos on YouTube.
there's only one result on youtube and it's got some french guy talking over it :ass:
I've thought about it for a while thinking that yeah, i'm outgrowing games since I barely play newer games while resorting to old classics like CS:GO and DOTA just for competitive play.
The reason is simple: I've been playing video games since I was 3 years old, so in 18 years of time it gets harder and harder for me to become impressed. I was blown away by Witcher 3, for example, but Fallout 4 after NV and Skyrim felt really bland, uninteresting. I really loved and still play a lot of Siege and Battlefield 4, but the newer games just don't offer anything new that would make you awe in amazement and want more.
Yep, now the only games that I'm amazed at are the one that had something new to tell with their stories, or something that creatively relate to real life.
But it's really hard to find those because they are masked by mediocre graphic. Most of the time the suggestion for games with good stories are TLOU (lol) and Walking Dead (urgh), which had really shallow stories. I guess that's what passes as 'good' nowdays.

Michel said it himself. But the title removes context so it sounds a lot dumber than it actually is.
