Also, new Mario isn't released on December like previously thought, it's October 27 now.
All I see is same characters. Could they try and do new IP's like Ubi and PS did ?
1/3 of what they showed were literally just "We're working on this. We have nothing to show for it."
Ubisoft still had the best conference imo, but I think Nintendo has a solid 2nd place.
but where's my smash port
The conferences of this E3 were trash i believe everyone lost in the end :v:
Sounds like the City is a hub world?
This was a bad case of everyone being so heavily in development of everything that there wasn't much amazing to show, and the few amazing announcements are hindered by only trailers/little info.
Holy shit is that Pauline I just saw?
Yep, and she is Mayor of New Donk City according to treehouse.
Donk City, mayor Pauline, this is looking interesting?
Nintendo goes bang.
Finally something to get hyped for.
Is October the new Holiday season?
Sounds like the City is a hub world?
Probably more like that Odyssey ship leads to a map screen, New Donk City is just another world.
Nintendo only showed metroid prime, quite an underwhelming conference apart from that.
I don't trust this Metroid Prime 4, what with Other M and Federation Force being what they were.
I'd have to see that they're returning to the first-person Metroidvania style of gameplay and an extremely hands-off approach to characterising Samus. Like, even Prime 3 edged on too much for me, but I forgave it because of the 2 prior games of build-up and the whole story theme of corruption.
I don't know, Samus and Metroid are just very touchy subjects for me. I've been on the internet too long...
mario and wolfenstein were the best games of the show imo
Who called Metroid? Me! Awesome news!
It's a real shame about the timing of this conference, all those early in development titles with nothing to show.
Nintendos conference basically has been a teaser for next year
I wonder if they are gonna show off more Skyrim. :downs:
what a boring e3, honestly.

Other M is pretty much entirely Sakamoto's fault. As long as his hands are far, far away from the game things'll probably be fine.
I'm more interested in a Mario game than I am for Marvel vs. Capcom, what fucking universe are we in right now
At least we can forget Other M exists now.

It was made the way it was to appeal to the Japanese market and it even failed there. But I'm never in the habit of assuming any company learns from its mistakes even if it did lose them money.

I've been trying. Maaaaan, have I been trying.
So when E3 starts in a few hours whats the stream to watch for all the game reveals?

What game reveals? All the game reveals were in the press conferences.

If it's Retro then nothing can go wrong.
I'm getting some Banjo-Kazooie vibes from this, honestly
I'm into it

Not true tons of games every year are showed off in interviews rather then the conferences.
