So looking at the timetable E3 has ended? Ubisoft and Microsoft had the best conferences so far, nice to see new games, good looking sequels and completley unexpected games for once.
Hell yeah, great showing from Nintendo. All it was really missing was Smash (and they really NEED to get on that ASAP) but other than that I couldn't be happier. They confirmed everything I wanted on the switch.
Only downside is just 3ds, so it's a bummer
It's 2002 again. Oh my god.

Oh wow lmfao, people need to start asking for f-zero now, it could be a thing.
It's really cool we are getting two Metroid games. But, I'm curious if the 3DS will be the next PS2 to where games will keep being made for it long after it's prime. :v:
I'm so glad I snagged a cheap 3DS recently to catch up with the games that I've missed now. Bring on the Year of Metroid.
Only downside is just 3ds, so it's a bummer
Just comes to show you that Nintendo is serious when they said the 3DS isn't dead.
I could see a Switch port 1-2 years later.

The install base is still massive whereas it's just building up for switch. It probably won't last PS2 long, that console was a very special case, but it'll still be a few years before the 3ds actually just up and dies.
they seem to be really blurring the lines between Metroid and Castlevania with this one
they seem to be really blurring the lines between Metroid and Castlevania with this one
probably because these are the same people behind the lords of shadow games
Just comes to show you that Nintendo is serious when they said the 3DS isn't dead.
Whatever for me, it's the only downside other than that, i can play it.
I could see a Switch port 1-2 years later.
Yeah, i guess it's gonna be like that.
I wonder if this game exists solely because of AM2R.
Since this is only on the 3DS instead of the Switch, I'm guessing this was in development for some time before the public release of AM2R

wow, that mini-boss was doing a lot of damage

Hose, calm down
Where were you when Nintendo singlehandedly salvaged this E3?
They're using Metroid Prime music
Their remake of Metroid 2 looks worse than AM2R, not gonna lie.
They're using Metroid Prime music
The music for Magmoor Caverns is actually just the theme from Lower Norfair from Super Metroid.
METROID BE BLAZING E3 BE SAVIN' NINTENDO BE PRAISING WHAT'S JOSE SAYING?!?!
Their remake of Metroid 2 looks worse than AM2R, not gonna lie.
handheld games upscaled for high res streaming always look bad.
Jose's accent is so typical "I learned english in primary school without actually speaking any with anyone" it hurts so much, this is why our education system sucks and why we should actually focus on SPEAKING english and not only learn grammar and doing written/listening exercises
Hoyl shit, Nintendo just won E3 AND save it in one fell swoop.

Watch them announce F-Zero for the 3DS.
