I only started playing TEW once they had the update to allow removing them, so it's not a huge improvement as far as I'm concerned.
I just don't understand why it ran [I]so bad[/I] (at least on PS4) and why the first bit of the game was so good (after leaving the asylum) and then after that it became a predictable "spooky" linear shooter with item management.

The interview I linked the stream with above has Blomkamp saying that the $5 assets pack is their way to make revenue from the films for the moment, and that they used the DLC model so that people can install what they want (as the total assets for Rakka alone come to 10-12GB of data).

I think most people walked away with something to like from this tradeshow. I just wish Bethesda and Sony did digital showcases instead, they felt worthless as stage shows.

Ehhh, the only things that I was really looking forward to that I saw in the Xbox conference was Dragonball FighterZ and Shadow of War, and those aren't even exclusive. I'm more excited for the new Duke controller than the XboneX itself.
Then again the only game that had me practically jumping out of my seat in excitement was Wolfenstein.
