the project was codenamed Dylan “because Hudson and team wanted to make the Bob Dylan of video games—one that would be referenced for years to come.'
Metro & Shadow of War are my highlights. Meh to everything else.
Anthem looks so far ahead of anything else they've shown graphically and gameplay wise, which just makes me think this footage is some Watch Dogs / The Division level of fake scripted bullshot.
Can't wait for the Crowbcat downgrade supercut.
Bioware used to be legendary RPG developers. Baldurs gate, Neverwinter nights, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect. Now they are making unfinished games and a destiny clone.
Sad to see how far the mighty have fallen.
Most exciting part of this conference was when I had to take a piss and the toilet wouldn't flush.
I just want madden 18 and 2k18
i'd give this conference a 5.5 or 6 out of 10 overall. Not much that really got me excited
The hell is that suppose to mean?
what he means is the game is the Randy Newman of socks
I think Anthem looks fucking fun!
2 cents have been deposited
So that's like 7 games that interested me out of 42. That's an F grade there Spencer.
I could not care less about the genre that Anthem sits in. Games like The Division and Destiny, do not interest me at all.
But it looks ambitious at the very least. You have to wonder though is it Bioware/EA trying to cash in on the genre, or actually try something 'new'?
"There's no Halo, go fuck yourself" -Phil Spencer
I like the environments a lot, but that's about it, the rest feels cliché
I wish it was an exploring game rather than another typical 3rd person FPS
Pretty underwhelming conference, there were only a few games I was interested in personally.
At least that was better than the EA conference.
Then again, you can't go much lower than that.
Wow, no Halo at the Microsoft Conference. That was unexpected.
I'm actually liking the look of Anthem, but I doubt it'll look like it does in that "gameplay" thing.
Sea of thieves is the only game that peaked my interest.

EA had like eight games and half of them were SPORTS, that's not putting the bar low, that's putting it on the ground and maybe digging it a little trench so it doesn't move around.
Microsoft is usually okay at these, I like Bethesda and Sony the most at E3.

#1 EA's was better
#2 Ubisoft to Microsoft: Hold my beer
No Halo? Oh damn son maybe they are actually trying to make a good halo game this time.
it was literally 80% games already live on PC lmao
and now to wait 5 hours for Bethesda's conference.
Anthem's like Microsoft's way of saying "well fuck you too destiny, we'll back these guys instead for our own equivalent"
I can imagine Anthem looking about as good as that (or maybe slightly worse than that), especially with frostbite behind it. With that said, it didn't "wow" me like I'd hope. Then again The Division didn't wow me when I first saw it but then I put about 200 hours into it since I bought it last December. I'd have to see what more it can offer before actually deciding whether I'd buy it.
But stop the scripted chat please. They even sounded like The Division scripted voice chat, down to finding a "good" gun.
Ashen, Dragonball Fighters Z and the Sea of Thieves, definitely interested in those
I liked the Splatoon/Arms direct style of just showcasing rapid fire game after game
All said there weren't all that many games I were interested in, but I thought it was pretty solid regardless
I thought the Minecraft unifying, and the space dwarves game looked interesting.
Anthem was embarrassing.
Shadow of War looked cool, Sea of Thieves seemed neat, State of Decay was cool.
Basically I guess the secret to getting me to like your game is calling it "S* of *"
