I'm loving that we're getting the announcement for XCOM 2's expansion within a day of the Metro Exodus reveal.

Bethesda conference is like talking to an ex when they text you late at night.
You know you're being lied to, but what the fuck else do you have going on?
What was the name of that moba with the bad animations and the shoutcaster yelling his head off?

Is it weird to say that this whole 4K craze with consoles is basically just a repeat of the old days of slapping on as many "bits" as you can to get ahead of the competition?
4K is nice and all, but it's too performance-intensive and too many games have to rely on cutting corners (i.e. upscaling) just to do it. Even on Microsoft's new "most powerful console", games like Assassin's Creed Origins still has noticeable framerate drops and that's incredibly disappointing.
4K should be put on hiatus until we get hardware that can actually handle it. People are desperately trying to 1-up each other by beefing up resolution as far as they can without even thinking about optimization. It's like Atari rushing to throw out the Jaguar so they could be the first 64-bit system, without even giving a thought about how optimized the system and its games actually ran. I would honestly take a smooth consistent framerate over large resolutions any day.
I wish 1440p had a spotlight

paving a way for the future. And selling point, because games by themselves can't convince normies.
Good thing Nintendo is smart about this.

I've never seen a game more ashamed of itself to be a video game and not a movie.

Game started to be interesting, and then did nothing with it (I mean fuck man: "YO here's some vampires, oh shit crazy right? Ight let's leave"). World building in that game was fantastic, and then NOTHING fucking happened.

Bethesda minus Todd is like Garfield minus Garfield. I hope we'll get a new IP though.

Crackdown 3 will run 4k 30fps. In single player.
Just have it run 60fps, 1440p with HDR and it will actually feel and play better.
