Shot a beehive and got marauded by angery bees.
10/10
Flamethrower
Reminder to keep an eye on your bio drugs in your ulities tab, forgot about them then realized i could mix the speed and melee ones together
for the love of god try taking out an outpost with just your melee weapon, its fucking glorious
This is a full co-op game right? Not bullshit coop like 4?
Molotovs worked in the last one too, tho I don't know if they're even in this game. Delivery guy is taking their sweet time with it.
didn't play 4's coop but apparently you can't go far from the other player and whoever the host is, it only saves their progress
I guess being a stunt pilot isn't all it's quacked up to be
they are
2 players only.
Intro and island tutorial can't be played in co-op
You can only be a certain distance from each other, go any further and you'll get teleported to each other (probably to the host).
Aside from those limitations you're free to play the entire game co-op, including arcade maps.
Dunno if anyone caught this yet But the flower on the loading screen is called an "Angel trumpet" and are used in [sp]Hallucinogens[/sp

Is there really no Desert Eagle in this game? I feel like every Far Cry has had one.
Prepper Stashes are a great source of income
Go home.
Probably late but eh

well i've ran into one mention of "fighting the globalist" so far, probably gonna be more
I started playing this with a friend in co-op last night.
Besides the difficulty being ramped up to somewhat insane levels sometimes we're having a blast.
Gonna play more when I get home tonight for sure, will probably let him host this time.
We did run into the odd sync-related bug (somehow getting vehicles to intersect for example...fun) but the game's ran super well for both of us. He's on a GTX 1070 running on Ultra and never goes below 60 from what he told, I'm on an RX 480 and I'm at a pretty stable 60 most of the time, sometimes drops when there's a lot of particle action going on
I'm really enjoying the game except for literally everything involving Jacob. I get really fucking bored and tired of games using, "You'Ve BEeN CAPtuReD aNd BraINWaSHeD! OohOhoOh!" Fuck off with this shitty, poorly written tripe and give me an interesting plot point.
did anyone else find the opening car chase rail sequence the worst thing ever? i'm sure the rest of the game is better but fuck that was garbage. it gives you a gun that barely works and just forces you to constantly be shot. i had to just put it on easy and leave my computer while it was going, then switching it back to hard once the game starts
This is the most americua game i've played in a long time. I was driving a mustang playing the national anthem and my friend was leaning out the window with an RPG. I just need a skin mod to for a MAGA hat
for that sequence or any like it, i feel that you would need the best automatic gun in the game and acog sights, for it to be even slightly possible.
the pistol seems to be dead accurate at a distance, but it's never clear when you've actually hit someone until you get closer and notice they're staggered or dead because your gun was in the way before then. like i was genuinely shocked at all the hits i was landing with the pistol in that section, and it still didn't make the section any less garbage. the automatic rifle might as well shoot sideways and if you use it you spend half the chase reloading forced to take damage, even in cover. i don't often blame my poor performance on a game being broken but i think in this case it's genuinely broken. even if you used the deadly accurate pistol, and killed every enemy in 1 shot without wasting any bullets, there would still be too many piled up on you and no way to avoid most of their damage
The density of cultists is really starting to hamper my enjoyment of this game. I don't particularly want a repeat of MGSV's barren overworld but sometimes it feels like you can't fart without 600 cultists pouring out of the woods to fuck with you. Maybe I'm just playing it wrong but I rarely feel like I have much breathing room. Also (mild progression mechanic spoilers) tying the kidnapping events to how far you've progressed in liberating a zone rather than your progress in the main story led to a really awkward moment where the resistance staged a daring rescue operation for a random-ass deputy that spent half a day lighting cars on fire and the other half terrorizing the local wildlife which didn't exactly gel with me, personally.
My only complaint is that it was a bit clunky but otherwise it was cool.
I really got to love the ways you can tweak the game.
I've been playing it with enemy/friend markers off and with no background music, on the hard difficulty.
So far it's been a very atmospheric romp through Montana.
Did anyone destroy the 'YES" sign before killing John? I did it after I want to know if he yells at you about it.
Also first thing I did to introduce myself to Faith (and her entire region, I hand't even been in there yet) was blow up that statue of Father with an airplane, parachute down and burn that book, it felt amazing. The resistance there was going 'wtf who the fuck is doing that' as I hadn't even met them yet.
Fuck raptor peak, the birds are fucking relentless and can tank bullets
My favourite moment yet was when I started getting my ass kicked by a wolverine and narrowly survived, then immediately started getting shot at by a cultist in the middle of a field(cause he heard my gunfire) and survived that, and then got rammed by a bull from behind.
Just about died laughing cause it was like straight out of a comedy
The first hunter I ever encountered got mauled by a bear in the middle of the conversation.
I really wish they would tone down the spawn rate of enemies. I had trouble just driving to places without some massive gun battle kicking off and blowing up my car in the process. Can't get a moment of quiet time, as if the game is afraid I'll get bored if someone isn't getting killed every 30 seconds.
