Far Cry 5 - Shoot Dirty Cultish Hipsters in Montana with guns and stuff

I assume like most previous Far Cry games as you capture more of the outposts their spawn rate will decrease to almost non-existent. But I definitely agree with you, cant seem to go 15 seconds without another car of them showing up.
I feel like the insane spawns were put there for the sake of twitch streamers.
I'm actually mad that Boomer cant ride shotgun in vehicles.
Holy shit do the planes ever stop spawning. They always spot me no matter what and I'm trying to fucking fish
Mines been pretty good. GTX1080 i7-6700 16gb ram. Playing everything on ultra @1440P 1.1 reso scale vsync off capped at 60fps. A few drops here and there but the game just looks too gorgeous for me to give up any settings. I notice very few stutters but ive got a pretty new SSD.
I seem to remember some effects that normally aren't too heavy on the performance like depth of field and motion blur (which I normally turn off anyway) being oddly heavy in FC4 so maybe test those?
i got the first "captured" segment happen while i was in the middle of a conversation inside a building. it was pretty funny
Don't really understand why you have to burn your uniform right away and there seems to be no replacement... everyone knows who you are anyways and is alerted on sight?
so im about 10 hours in and the same type of weather is starting to get old. is there any variation? will it rain? fog?
Holy shit, the Death Wish sidequest is so infuriating. I drove in circles for about 10 minutes trying to take out the guy driving the damn thing, and when I finally did, the car drove down a hill and got lost in a forest. The little marker showing me where the truck was disappeared, so I had to pause the game repeatedly to check my objective and see how close I was to the truck. There's an awful lot of bugs in this game. You'd think after making so many Far Cry games, they'd have shit like this ironed out.
There's rain and fog in the map editor, but weather variations are dissapointingly restricted to scripted events in missions.
Just realized there isn’t a perk that seems to give you infinite sprint like in all the other games. Kinda annoying to only sprint at full speed for a couple seconds before slowing down.
So in Faith's region you get bliss hallucinations that make animals appear harmless like deer and stuff like that but when you get close to them they turn into dangerous animalsand becuase of that I got attacked by a fucking bison so my only option to kill it before it killed me was to pull out my RPG and shoot the bison at point blank range. Somehow the bison got launched 5 feet in the air from the RPG.
There's way too many enemies at all times. I'll find an npc, talk with them to find the location of a new area and they get interrupted every 6 words because 8 more enemies just randomly showed up.
I really love not being able to get stash info or do the outpost side missions for like 5 minutes straight because planes, hostage vans, and supply trucks keep driving by and aggroing the NPC in the middle of his dialogue.
The Rainbow Six uniform is a nice replacement.
As an European - I have never felt so much freedom being pushed onto me.
P.S: The game is awesome, I love it.
I don't know, I rather agree with Rellow. There's just too much happening all the time, it makes traveling a real pain.
Easiest way to travel Is to unlock the wing suit fast travel perk and dive from a known location to an unknown. You avoiding a lot of he ground stuff.
Though to to be honest I don't mind it as I put the car in auto drive and just shoot people when I am on the ground.
One problem I have is fanatics on drugs seeing you 5 kilometres away.

I gotta admit I kinda agree with other people in saying that opening car chase sequence was bitch hard. I could only ever get to the point the plane appeared on Hard and I tried like 10 times with different strategies but seriously. Put it down to Normal just for that part and aced it in one go, so it kinda seems overtuned for an opener imo.
Other than that the game is a blasty blast though. Beautiful to look at, too.
Yeah start was fucking shit and not sure if it's just me - but it ran like shit.
So... Crysis?
What's the maximum amount of AI bad guys you can place in the Level Editor?
Couldn't find any proper info in google search.
top tip: run straight into the woods up the highest slope if you're getting chased. Even with the planes chasing you everything else just gives up and often nothing spawns.
I'm getting a weird bug when playing co-op. My health is never 100% full, and can never heal to 100%. Plus the character is always panting like they're on low health, as well as sometimes the red 'almost dead' effect coming up on screen. I've tried restarting the game, rejoining sessions and killing myself and none of it seems to work, but it only happens in co-op. Anyone else had any experience with this?

Does anyone else on PC have an issue with the graphics looking murky as fuck?
This was on release day on High, before the Nvidia patch

And then this was after i installed the patch and turned it to Ultra

Try changing scaling to 1 (I think it's 4th tab in video settings).
Are you joining a friends game, or he joining you? If he is joining you, try swapping it up and see if the bug carries over.
Another user in this thread (can't find his post atm) has the same issue, except his Co-op partner is stuck on the nearly dead screen every time they go into a game together.
