Far Cry 5 - Shoot Dirty Cultish Hipsters in Montana with guns and stuff

Trump is just a dumb old man. There's no way nukes would ever be used in the situation IRL. And have his precious Mar-A-Lago and Tower destroyed? Pfft.
Man, what a terrible ending this game has. I mean, I spent pretty much every minute of every cutscene telling the father that he was under arrest because fuck that noise, but the ending really goes beyond ridiculous.
I feel like the devs/writers really thought they are pulling one over on us with the brainwashing and everything, but it's all so forced and I had multiple moments in this game where I just refused to comply and the game didn't even acknowledge it. (Faith jump, killing Eli...)
A few days ago in multiplayer I saw someone with the Deputy jacket, however their clothing turned into the starter clothes about half a minute after.
In Faith's sections I was literally walking out of bounds as much as I could and at one point I swear the game forced me closer to her little by little
The Militia shirt, with the cowboy hat and cowboy pants makes you look a hell of a lot like some kind of Texas Ranger/US Marshall at least. I rocked that look a lot.
I am using the 5.11 softshell with the R6 pants, looks close enough, but I still don't get why we don't get the uniform and no police car.
Using the flamebearer top and gloves from the recent challenge, the Anarchist jeans, and black motorcycle helmet. It's a pretty nice combo
The one that really gets me is Nick and Kim's new baby that you drive her to the hospital to have. At the time, it was right after I killed John, so in my head I thought, "One man dies, and a baby is born." Following that up with a nuclear apocalypse that kills everyone is just fucked. Maybe that's the point, but it's a shitty point.
Yeah, it's a real shame, I was hoping that one of the sedans had a sheriff style. Though I wouldn't put it past Ubisoft to include the Deputy clothing in a pack. Just hope it has the decals like the ones the other deputies have.
Because the developers are actively trying to have it both ways. The game makes repeated references to the current administration in both oblique and not so oblique terms.
They literally mention the Trump administration at the beginning of the game
I feel like I'm in a minority for enjoying the ending.
So i killed the 3 bosses / joseph brothers .. im supposed to trigger a confrontation with the father but i get no new missions or anything related to that?
So I just beat the game, and wow the ending sucks, but I don't know if it's because I never heard anything other than music on the radios. I think there's a bug where the radio dialog won't play, as when I was changing through the stations a few times there was just nothing at all playing. Until hearing the broadcasts in videos I was honestly thinking Joseph set off the bombs because nothing in-game ever told me otherwise.
That makes it sound harder than it was, the handguns in this were actually really, really powerful which I liked, it was cool as fuck clearing bunkers with a pumpgat and a 1911, being the Fudd version of John Wick.
The only handguns that actually felt kind of useless were the revolvers. It always seemed to take about 2 shots to drop anyone with them and they're slow to use. The starting 1911 drops enemies pretty reliably at about 2 shots anyway and fires much faster.
I know it's been said about 1000 times already but man, the weapon selection is such a disappointment this time out. There's a couple cool guns like the P226 and the AKs, but after looking at something like Far Cry 4 it's such a cold shower.
Damn, I wish we could go to jacobs base that we can't get to without being "only you'd". Would be a fun outpost.
I don't like how I've bought all these different kinds of guns but NPCs only ever use ARs, redneck shotguns, and 1911s
It's not Trump it's just an orange guy who golfs in Florida a lot, has no previous political experience, fires staff members at random, and has a pee tape. But definitely not Trump.
Its why I'm forced to agree with the Polygon article about the game. FC5 wants to have its cake and eat it too; they want to bring in political discussion and court controversy by basically reliving a gameified version of Waco, Texas and other death cults inside a conservative leaning area of Utah filled with doomsday preppers.
But then they also don't want to actually explore any of that shit that might've made things more interesting, nor do they want to explore police work in such a scenario, nor give players any real choice or questions.
They want to give us the shock, but not even bother asking us how we feel. They presume to know how we feel and its fucking stupid.
What's weird is that after liberating the Mountains, I saw Resistance fighters inside there.
I love this game for making me the ultimate headshot machine using my silenced SOCOM 16.
Also, I think it's really weak how the game never encourages you to get new weapons. Literally nothing but the two AR versions and a few heavy weapons are ever used by enemies, and I still haven't bought a single SMG and only ever used the killhouse MP5. That's just sad.
I normally love SMGs but I didn't get one at all until after beating the game.
I almost feel like this is intentional now.
"HURR IT'S FORESADHOWED!"
"What do you mean, only people saying so were the cult. We're seriously suppose to empathize with the Murder Cult?"
It's silly.
They just left the speaker system running because they like the song and the Deputy can't think of a way to ask them to turn it off without making shit awkward.
Made a new map called Overlook, check it out if you're bored and on PS4

Is it worth going back and playing Far Cry 4? I skipped out on it.
I'm enjoying the Mp40
It suffers from the same problems that Far Cry 3 had, and has a less interesting story, but gameplay wise it’s a good time.
