These new weapons makes me more excited. I was expecting FarCry 5 to be another FarCry 4 (which was another FarCry 3) with more minor improvements. If the rumors about bullet drop are true I'm going to love this installment, the hit scan weapons seem a little dated, specially after playing so much PUBG.

As minor as something like this is, I enjoy going into games completely fresh without being exposed to promotional material / gameplay or trailers. I've only seen two trailers and I would like to go into the game as fresh as possible so please if you don't mind spoiler tag or link any images even if its from 'early' gameplay footage. Thank you.

At the same time that I want this I really didn't enjoy FC4 plus with games nowadays in Canada being $80 for the base game (which fuck that i want the gold for that season pass but that'll set my ass back $120 because haha canada dollaries suck) I'm finding a hard time reasoning to myself to purchase the game.

Uplay has an option to spend 100 Reward points (earned from other in game achievements) that get you a 20% discount on purchases, thats my plan. Just have to wait for the game to be released first as it doesnt work on pre-orders apparently.

Wish the nobs at Arkane Studio knew better when they made Prey's crosshair off-center on PC. Even Destiny 2 has the option for a centered crosshair on PC (possibly consoles too?)

Yeah,uhm about the M60...they still butchered it for the technicals turrets...Spade grips attached behind the stock instead of the proper M60D that would have made more sense

My birthday is on the 25th, so I'm pretty much 100% banking on a couple of people getting me Visa giftcards. If they don't, no big loss, the Doomsday Prepper stuff looks awful, but it'd still be nice to have, I guess.

Well that stuff is just cosmetic so you wouldn't be losing out on anything gameplay related.

I'm still wary after Far Cry 3 and 4 went heavy on having basic variants for too many guns which couldn't take so much as a scope, only to have variants with ugly skins and one set of attachments that couldn't be changed.

i noticed on the steam page you cant buy the season pass on its own. anyone know if thats always gonna be exclusive to the bundles or its just like that for now?

Some cutscenes are already on youtube, honestly as much as i think i'm going to love this game i probs won't be able to get my head round how the crazies control the area. However thats all worth it just so i can crouch through the forests with a Tec-9

Yeah, there's a video on the subreddit that goes through the intro of the game. It does partly explain why no military seem to be helping but it does seem kind of unexpected.

FC5 intro: Apparently the Deputy uniform gets burned during the tutorial, go figure.

Guess they had to find a way for the clothes customization. Seemed the easiest route.

I kinda hope there's a way to get a new one or something close to it. I want to deliver justice in uniform.
