Agreed. I don't know what I'd want out of Live Event, but going to Joseph's Compound once a week to kill 10 people in a certain way is probably not it.

I think it's safe to say that your character has gone a little crazy at this point. Especially after being exposed to all that bliss, and Jacob's hypnosis or whatever that was.

The brain washing aspect works so bad in FC5 when all I (and most other players) want the Seed's to do is to shut the fuck up.

I never liked easy complete mind control in settings based in reality. Jacobs conditioning tactic I like despite that it's being silly because it's more based on conditioning the human mind whereas the Bliss is just like poof oh look now you're under my complete control instead of me using convincing arguments along with it to help. Not to mention the amount of control is always inconsistent. The Agent is able to withstand the Bliss by pure will power until Faith says otherwise which is apparent in all Bliss victims, but your character needs shots of adrenaline to fight it. Then Marshall, who was so lost in the Bliss he was seconds away from killing himself, just needed a few seconds of fresh air and he's good as new.

I hope the Vietnam story stays away from the mind-control stuff and just gives me a solid war story with my war buddies.

Unless I'm blind, I only see one M16 in the list. You might be getting confused with the two MS16/M14 variants on the list.

Makes sense if they have something like the CAR-15. Unless they call the ARC an M16, which then it's the regular assault and sniper rifle variants.

VHS-2, pretty sure it's brand new and the only other game I've seen it in is Payday 2.

I would not complain if they brought back the MG-42. That thing was a beast.

When the game first came out, I thought the weapons list was a little lackluster, but with the addition of the vector and the 9mm, things are slowly looking up. Fingers crossed they are gonna keep live events going for a while to keep the game fresh.

They should bring every weapon from 4 back, as well as the unique mods

Lel, they're using the same models from the base game for the characters, can't say I blame them, but it's not even kinda subtle.

Eehhhhhh, I've wanted a Vietnam set Far Cry for a long time, and that really isn't tickling my fancy.

For some reason I'm kinda afraid FC5 goes the same way as Wolfenstein II with its DLCs. Far Cry 3 and Wolfenstein TNO both had a single expansion : Blood Dragon and The Old Blood. They were pretty huge and awesome on their own and they were sold as standalone games, but then Wolfenstein II went quantity over quality and got us three smaller and underwhelming DLCs that are barely worth checking. I know this sounds dumb (I mean the first 15 minutes of hours of darkness already look more interesting then all the wolfenstein II DLCs combined) but I just can't get the similarities off my head and stop worrying.

The WII DLC was nothing but recycled singleplayer levels from the base game. I don't see the similarities.

No it wasn't? The maps were all new. The reused assets but not of the areas were recycled.
