I think what i like about this game is that unlike in Far Cry 4 where i actually liked Pagan Min in that "he's evil but cool in a weird way" way and after the credits rolled ended up wishing i'd joined his army in the first place, I geninully despise these cultists and the Seeds. They're all pricks, just like their IRL counterparts. Sure this might mean they may lack depth beyond "hurr crazy" but at least I know theres no hope for the crazy arseholes charging my explosive rigged ATV

Yeah, they don't seem to have that cool effect that Pagan had, they just seem like crazy dicks. Going to be easy to just take them out without hard feelings over it.

Man, I'm really wanting to play this. I love the type of architecture and environments that you get to explore and fight in (partially from growing up in the rural Midwest), plus the variety seems spot on from what I've seen. I also want to make a video on it, and use it in another video I've been wanting to make for a few years now about the idea of just starting out in games and having to scavenge, versus being many hours in and having an arsenal rivaling a small military and how that feeling changes throughout the game, something I feel is particularly relevant with Far Cry and Stalker for instance. Just something I've always though about making. Unfortunately I have no game budget for at least a month, thanks medical expenses.

I like to roleplay in strange ways and one of them was using appropiate weapons in FC4 and "Normal" weapons in games like Dying Light, like using baseball bats over massive schythes. I lookf forward to that vid if it happens

I wish we could co-op the campaign with more than 2 just two people, being able to have 3 or 4 people would be great. 64 would be even more hilarious

I went to preload the game but like every other game launcher that isn't steam. They require a complex password I always have trouble remembering, so I go to get a new one, check my email, click the link aaaaand.. nothing. I've been staring at the bouncing Uplay bars for about 3 hours now. Oh well. I still have time, I'm pretty damn hype.

Maybe try a different web browser? I had a weird issue with my GMG pre-order because they do it with "uplay connect" now and I fixed it by temporarily using Edge instead of Chrome. Also use a note-taking app on your phone for a easy log of your passwords that can't be auto-filled. Just my 2 cents.

I really should at this point, I'll try a different browser, so far I've tried Opera and Firefox

I'm so excited to play this. I loved Far Cry 3. Far Cry 4 kinda felt like more of the same Far Cry 5 seems like a step in a more creative direction and I'm super stoked!

Oh my god I completely forgot about the map editor and Far Cry Arcade. I remember sinking so much time into Far Cry Instincts' Predator's MP because of it. This is probably gonna be my GOTY hands down.

yep, this is one reason why i'm not a fan of companies giving early copies to youtubers.

Some console players had their copies delivered early as well. It isn't just press copies.

Don't spoil yourself with so many gameplay trailers and other footage and it won't pop up in your suggested.

I'm not sure about all of them but i'm hopeful tis all of them. Nearly all of the weapons are held differently, the 1911 and M133 deffo have dfiferent animations.

the map editor on PC needs the limitations it has, otherwise a person with a GTX 1080ti will make things that won't run for people with an r9 270 without even knowing it.

Honestly wouldn't mind if this was the reason for the limitations. Having maps that you can't play because of your computer would annoy lots of people.
