Wow I didn't expect the (Ending spoilers) ending to actually have a nuke go off. Now the whole franchise is fucked.
I dunno, we need to see what the other ending is first because i think there are two. If there isn't and it really is the nuke, that leaves us with two options:

Theres quite a few NPCs being quoted about the world being worse off, this would make far more sense for the cult to have got out of control.

I think they set up the weapon wheel to where you are always caring a sidearm + melee weapon and then optionally 3 primary weapons.

The intro to the game has a prominent "Dunia Engine" blurb, so yeah.
The whole CryEngine and Dunia confusion was due to the leaked details that lists down FC5 on CryEngine, which is technically true when considering how Dunia is a fork of Cryengine by Ubisoft, but yeah it's more or less an upgraded version of Dunia. The part where the OP does say 'Crytek's Cryengine, as opposed to the others, which all used the Dunia engine' is very misleading yeah.
It’s still running on Dunia which is a modified version of the CryEngine. Which is why it says that.

Those benchmarks are looking pretty good, looks like even older or mid-end hardware can max it out easily on 1080/1440p.
