What mod do people use to make the armour prettier in SE?
amidianborn's retextures or bust
But unoptimized textures for special edition ;(. I've been waiting for a proper version to Special edition.
Ehhh, I gave Skyrim VR a go but I'm gonna refund it. It's not terrible, it's just not a particularly good VR game, mainly I think due to the engine being so old and clunky. Being outside and seeing the scale of the world is pretty good but everything looks really good at a distance, getting close to stuff is pretty blergh, feels a little blurry up close too. The movement is waay smoother than expected, for the most part. Stairs and moving over rough terrain like rocks and stuff is a little wobbly, stairs quite jittery. Overall though they've done a pretty good job at avoiding motion sickness. Combat is pretty lame though, maybe just because I've been playing Verminetide 2, I don't know but it just doesn't have any weight to it. You can flail around every weapon regardless of weight, hits are not satisfying. Archery is okay though but I don't want to rely on that for every encounter. I feel like this type of game would be pretty great in VR though, a big world to explore, skyrim esque RPG but the fidelity really needs a major overhaul, it just looks like shite basically. I think being able to get closer with VR hurts the game more than anything, the floaty animations, wierd physics and rough graphics are even more noticeable. I think if it was a cheaper DLC for Skyrim or just not full game price in general, it might do it a favour but as it stands, it's just not good enough to keep me interested. I could see some people enjoying it and I could understand perfectly but compared to alot of VR games out there now, it's just too dated. SORRY :C
I got it too, I love seeing the scale of the world in my own eyes and I can run it at highest with no performance issues, and everything suddenly seem so much different than what I remember it to be, but past that, it's really nothing interesting enough to make me go "Damn, I can't wait to play more of this" It's fun for what it is but it lacks so much, don't bother with it if you don't have money to fork over, wait for a sale if ya wanna try it, I assume it'll also have interesting mods added, so you've got nothing to lose if you just wait for a better chance.
some mods flat out will crash if you use MO, so, in most cases I use MO, but for those mods I use NMM and just disable the esp for said mods
I don't know what I did, how I did it, or what mods are causing it, but every single vampire NPC is naked except for a pair of boots Skyrim never ceases to amaze
He's gunna give you his gift...
I did some more testing and it only affects generic vampire NPC's who spawn in vanilla vampire armor I don't have any mods that drastically affect vampires, a retexture mod for the armor and some modded armor based off of vampire stuff I don't get what's happening maybe a leveled list conflict? I don't think I have any mods that affect vampire NPCS
Can you put on the armor that they're using to see if it works properly? It's probably a mod conflict but if it happens on your character too, try to reinstall the texture mod.
It's not an issue with the texture mod, cause vanilla vampire armors aren't invisible, the modded texture is applied to them just fine What's happening is that generic vampire enemies are spawning without the armor in their inventory. Its not showing up on them because they aren't spawning with one. I'm doing a little more digging and it turns out I did have a mod that edits vampire armor, but it only gives the new armor to named members of Harkon's court and spawning them next to me shows that they are wearing the modded armor. Maybe that mod carried over the leveled list changes to the generic vampire enemies? Its like the game is trying to give them armor, but there's no armor in the pool for it to pull from. This is fucking weird.
Might be a load order thing in that case? Try shifting it around
If you select a generic npc do they have xx or 00 at the start of their ID, or something else? Then those generic npcs might been entirely replaced with a mod, that then conflicts with something. Are you using a Merged Patch/Smashed Patch or similar? Otherwise making one could fix it.
Molag's all about efficiency.
I just ran LOOT, no change I searched the console for "master vampire" and got a bunch of entries, some started with 00 for vanilla Skyrim, some with 02 for Dawnguard, and some with FF, for what I don't know. I spawned a couple of those vampires with different IDs and they all had no armor. And no, I'm not using a merged patch. I've done a lot of research into Skyrim modding but strangely never bothered with those. From what I understand it just smushes a number of mods together into one big one right? And in the process smooths out conflicts and such? I don't think I ever learned how to do those because I valued the ability to add or remove individual mods too much to bother with combining a bunch at once.
All vampires has the issue? Then its deffo a levellist issue, making a smashed patch would be good even if it doesn't solve this issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l39VMssZmjE This is a good video on it.

That's all good. But is everyone else around you still a cross breed between a Potato and an Apple?
In French, the word for apple is "la pomme", the word for earth is "le terre", and potato is "la pomme de terre".
I've completed all of base Skyrim and Dawnguard, I've started Dragonborn (first time ever, unlike the other two) All I've gotta say is http://i0.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/facebook/000/025/376/DJrmQ8yV4AA9JjX.jpg Skyrim is saved. Also I love Apocrypha.
It sucks when the tank gets killed in a mere two hits and you take the credit for that as healer sorry, can't heal through being shit at the game lol
Is this the imperial city? Jesus christ, am I really gonna have to dodge PVPers for that many skyshards?
I have heavy armor, light armor, a ton of guild and alliance war skills, all class skills, all skills in destro and resto staff, and all included passives I have 30 points left over, I've done very little shard hunting in cyrodiil. Unless you're looking for a perfect 100% run you're never going to have to enter Cryodil name for Vigor, Caltrops, Barrier and Warhorn.
How amazing would it be if they just had a cease-fire event for a few days and everyone could explore cyrodiil without the peevp?
Pretty much should only go to Imperial City to do the intro quest for the like 3 free skill points for just talking to NPC's. Then leave. I only grabbed Skyshards while doing the intro. Didn't feel like having to dodge everyone.
What does it mean if they're not optimised?
sneaky beaky potions are your friend
taking up more space than necessary, more data to process, stream, and hold in memory without any marginal benefeit.
Can you use Wyre Bash without it's mod handling stuff? I use MO but I think I'll need to make a bashed patch to fix my naked vampire problem I know absolutely nothing about Wyre Bash so that's my excuse if this is a dumb question
Yeah, you can bash patches without having to use the mod manager part of bash.
