The Elder Scrolls Megathread XX: Might as well be XXX

OK great, that's good to know.
Wyre Bash wouldn't happen to tell you what's editing the leveled lists does it? I have a fuck ton of mods and I don't quite remember what ones add shit to NPCs or not.
It might tag some plugins as that but I don't remember fully. You can also check with tes5edit.
Yessss I fuckin fixed it. I made a bashed patch and merged all of the mods Wyre Bash told me could be merged and now vampires are spawning in, fully clothed
A couple questions though:
1: Wyre Bash deactivated the mods it made the patch from and I understand that, but will that affect my game at all because the individual mods were deactivated? Apparently removing shit mid-game is a big no-no but since all the data the mods need are still there are things gonna be fine?
2: I need to run Wyre Bash and rebuild my bashed patch every time I had something to my load order? No matter what the kind of mod is or what the size of it is, the patch gets rebuilt?
Should contain all the migrated data, if you did it right.
2. yes.
Zartar finally finished CBE, currently incompatible with any other behavior mod, but is working with Fore to change that (yes maverik that means mid air sex)
I hope it comes to SE, and properly with FNIS. My major pet peeve with skyrim is how clunky stuff feels at times. I don't mind slow, or limited movement as I use the attack commitment mod. Hopefully this could make it more seamless. (wrong word maybe?).
I always feel like doing a vanilla playthrough with mods like that to make the game feel a bit more alive, but then I add Campfire, then RnD, then an armor pack, then Lanterns, then next thing you know I have 220 plug ins and so many patches I don't know what to do
Might mean underwater sex, too.
That mermaid mod looks mighty tempting now...
Time to start that siren playthrough.
fuck mods tbh
"We need a new mount for ESO"
"Just make one of the horses transparent"

Is something fucky happening with the nexus today?
Every mod i've tried to download has corrupted, it's getting really frustrating.
cake horses when
i wish there was a sauron armor mod that doesn't look awful. for either skyrim or oblivion.
Never really understood why people care so much about mounts.
Bragging about wasted money tbh
Fashion is important
Feel like coming back to skyrim after it now being a few years and trying a modded play through are all mods primarily on the Special Edition or have most stuck to OG Skyrim? If its a mishmash what do ya'll recommend.
most mods have been ported over to SE but the main thing keeping most people from switching over is SKSE
SKSE64 is in heavy beta IIRC and most people, me included, are waiting for a stable release and more mods being ported over
I haven't had one Issue with SKSE64, it says beta but its working like normal.
A gigantic chunk of mods have not made the jump nor will some.
The hipster lootbox™ of frostfall, immersive armors and dual sheath reholyshitwhydoesmygamestillcrash, contrary to popular belief does not account for the sum of skyrim playthoughs.
Does Immersive Armours on SE have MCM support?
Yes.
Summerset Isles Changes
2h 2 bonuses is insane if true
So ESO:MW is going to be included in ESO+ when Summerset gets released. By all means this is good, but feels like an awful big "fuck you" after they made such a firm stance about chapters being "different" from dlc as the reason it wasn't included in the first place.
Feels like WoW's expansion system to be honest, which is fine
So when I go to confront Nepos about the forsworn stuff, the dialogue gets stuck after the part where I ask who is behind the scheme and the only thing I can do is exit out which makes everyone hostile so i'm missing out on some dialogue. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?
I'd say it's good for your first playthrough, but I'd still have to recommend USLEEP and Timing is Everything for a very first playthrough because game-breaking bullshit and NPC-murdering bullshit is worth fixing.
i'm considering actually installing skyrim special edition; are there enough mods to spice up the gameplay by now? i held back on it because playing through the same old skyrim with slightly enhanced visuals simply didn't appeal to me, even if it had some potential performance bonuses
the 64bit helps with crashing, I haven't crash this little in skyrim for ages.
I focused on Oldrim but SSE does look to have significant mod support now.
Nearly, if not ALL the best, most important mods from Oldrim appear to be on it now.
I'd say you're fine, someone who plays SSE could hopefully give you the full rundown of what is missing
