I mean, Morrowind is compatible with a toaster these days
They pulled it, looks like Microsoft accidentally leaked it lol
Wonder if it will have any differences, guess not if its just a backwards compatible copy.
Typically no, it plays and looks exactly the same. Still, if you wanted to have all your 3D mainline Elder Scrolls games on one console it's a nice addition.
https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2018/04/10/backward-compatibility-april-update/?utm_source=SocialMedia&utm_medium=bitly It's coming April 17th
Vanilla looks alright but I've been using Realistic Water Two Any texture mod you liked for Oldrim should work in Skyrim SE
In only 2 fast runs I got a all the parts i need for a full Jorvuld’s Guidance set, all divines and everything, even a resto staff for running split staves I should play slots
Future note to anyone who's wants to play the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion The difficulty slider should be at roughly 1/3 rather than the default 1/2 . Nobody's going to judge you for making the game not a sponge-fest.
Nobody should judge how people play a singleplayer game tbh, unless its for speedrunning(?). Like if i wanna cheat in my singleplayer game i'll cheat.
I'm really hoping that one day we'll see a SE version of World's Dawn. It gives every single equipment drop in the game a chance to have any of hundreds of new enchantments and a chance to be tempered. So you could be wearing steel armor but then opt to swap it out when you find some rare iron boots with a higher armor rating that cause you emit a burst of flames when struck. I really appreciated being able to precisely tailor my play-style without having to level enchanting. Plus it introduces a stat system to modify stats that were otherwise mostly untouched in Skyrim (movement speed, crit chance/damage, rare loot chance, etc). I'm pretty sure I've already posted about World's Dawn not very long ago but I needed to post about it again because it's hands-down my all-time favorite mod for Skyrim. I've especially been dreading having to see my character in the same armor for hours upon hours of playtime- I'd really like to see some visual indication of character progression. https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/73094-0-1454359644.jpg
That post of yours is literally the first time I've seen this mod and I'm instantly a fan. I really hope the do bring that over to SE because that'd really help with my ability to never be happy with just one outfit. (every time I played I always needed: Two outfits for walking about in town, one for special occasions. One for light combat, one for long travels, one for cold weather One for dragons and one for sleeping.)
Immersive dragon paraphernalia has already been ported over
Honestly it reminds me of the god-awful loot system every ARPG since Diablo has used that I absolutely loath. It seems way too arbitrary and video game-y to me when a chest spews out a garbage selection of descriptors and none of them good. How am I supposed to know that the cumguzzler's sacred light armbands of steely cloth are better than my current shitlicker's semen-stained etheral horny gauntlets of the vampire's choirboy when they both have vastly incompatible set of numbers that ultimately mean diddly dick when it comes to getting enemies' health points to drop to zero? Should I pick the gaudy drag queen's ugly-ass frock of emasculating, eternal shame because it has +100 armour points or something that's completely outclassed but looks sensible on my character? Who made all these random-ass enchanted weapons? What ADD-riddled fucktarded wizard made a two-handed broadsword that increases pickpocketing, sneak, and crochet skills and why is every pair of boots, every spoon, and every chamber pot suddenly magic? It just raises too many questions.
Think of how many shitty magical items you've made and then sold while leveling your enchanting. Now imagine that everyone in Tamriel gains experience the same way. Think of all of the people enchanting their shoes, their cookware, their cat, their unmentionables- are you telling me if you had the ability to make 20% more income by enchanting your socks that you wouldn't do it? That being said, a chance to find something really unique and useful on your common bandit is a lot more interesting than finding your 12,376th pair of fur knickers.
gameplay and lore segregation; these kinds of skills arent as easy for NPCs as they are for us (they also dont work the same way in lore) also if you're finding unique stuff on every random bandit then it quickly stops being unique, that's the problem with legendary enemies in Fallout 4 (besides them being goofy and out of place)
If it's unique and interesting, why is it in the hands of a common bandit?
Probably because they stole/murdered for it
But wouldn't that enable them to become an uncommon bandit? That's my point.
It certainly does not add unique items to every bandit, though. I recall the enchanted items being pretty rare and mostly limited to dungeon chests- hence why it would be interesting if you found something unique on a bandit. Regardless, World's Dawn's loot system is totally modifiable through the mod configuration menu so you could very well make enchanted items as rare as you'd like.
I prefer Morrowloot, even if it does require careful placement when it comes to compatibility.
Morrowloot is godlike and if you don't use it you don't know what you're missing I can't live without it now
Does anyone have a list of what missions reward you with the anniversary loot boxes? I've been doing the daily crafting ones, but I'm not sure if there's others I should be doing to take advantage of the event
So I installed the mod that adds in cats. I was not prepared for what it added. http://horobox.co.uk/u/reag/2018-04-15_01-25-29.mp4 Look at this loud fyat fucker waddle. Perfect.
I reinstalled oldrim to test out some mods which require SKSE and for some inane reason my keyboard is not detected ingame. I just can't do anything. I assumed it was a gamepad issue but that does not appear to be the case. I've tried various solutions found online but right now the game will not allow me to play, this is the first time I've ever run into this issue.
why are you using the HDT tails mod that is not how tails work
Wanted to see how bad it was. Plus toying with my own XML, it works pretty good until the fps dips to 55 randomly and due to the physics system being tied to it. It goes mental and either twists its self weirdly or does what happened in that recording, gets stuck in a position until some major force yanks the root bone hard enough.
The HDT physics is what I miss the most from Fallout 4, having long coats and other clothing react to movement was the best thing I know there are a couple of decent HDT mods out there for Skyrim but the inherent jank of physics being tied to frame rate means my fancy cape will suddenly invert itself whenever I get close to a major city
Can put most of the blame on MS for locking down the editor to the newer Havok builds. Physics emulation is possible in FO4 but its nothing like HDT. Until someone manages to the get the Havok SDK 2014 and figures out what build they modified, HDT likely wont ever come back directly. There is also the problem that FO4 has a weight limit of 4 which restricts what you can do with mesh, they they decided to limit it I have no idea because it makes little sense. So for now the best system you've got for FO4 is a combination of animation and utilizing its jigglebone like system from what I know, don't quote me on that though, haven't touched FO4 modding in a while so this could all be wrong.
This doesn't happen with SMP and with PE shouldn't even be happening either unless your system is a potato, unless the xml is badly written
Oh for sure its the XML.
