bullshit does that actually happen??
bullshit does that actually happen??
Yes and no. There's a 30% chance for a dropitem event to trigger, which occurs when a player drops an item. Then there's a 20% chance for that specific event to occur, since there are 5 events in total that can happen. That specific event doesn't happen in Sovngarde, Riverwood, or in locations where events are disabled. There are 0 requirements based on who's doing the fighting, however it will only be 2 people fighting at once and it cannot be triggered again for a quite a while.
Which means if you want to put your fancy swords on display but not on a sword rack in your own house you better be ready for a 30% chance of your companion trying to murder your wife every time you go home.
its an rpg of course its tied to a skill
Okay, but that doesn't excuse it. You could think of plenty ways arond that bad design. For example, have 4 fair difficulty levels you'd have to solve, each for a different lock level, which you can access at 25 50 75 and 100 skill. Those difficulty levels would not be directly tied to stats, but rather the lock mechanisms would change into more complex designs. The skill points past a threshold and before the next would increase the chance of auto unlok, or you could just base it of perks. This is obviously a rough idea to make the concept understandsble.

So I would usually find my thane bodyguard laying prone on the dining room floor while she repeatedly bashed his face in with a hammer, knocking my carefully arranged loot all over the place. In the end I just used the guy for the Boethiah sacrifice to make it fucking stop.
how massive are we talking? can she squish a watermelon with her thighs? haha i'm just curious for laughs haha
Sorry if requests are frowned upon, but can anyone help me out with an armor mod? I'm using the Judeau armor(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51354/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D51354&pUp=1) for my character, but I don't like how the pauldron is asymmetrical, I know it's accurate to the actual armor but I was wondering if there was a way to mirror the arm guard so both arms use the pauldron. I tried using a tutorial but it was more for creating your own armor from scratch.
Anyone? Or at least a tutorial unless you can't do it with modded outfits
Anyone? Or at least a tutorial unless you can't do it with modded outfits
You're just going to have to learn how to edit the model straight up.
Welp, always wanted to try my hand at it and that's one way to start. Thanks for the help though
Anyone? Or at least a tutorial unless you can't do it with modded outfits
What you want requires nifskope, meshrigger and 3dsmax2012 with plugins or Blender, and working knowledge of each.
A page without a Sheva post? We can't have that...

Meet Erik "the Slayer". He's a farmboy-turned-mercenary who Sheva helped kickstart his ambition, hence the -turned-merceny part. What? You don't remember? Well, that's because it was something on the backburner on the first round of Sheva posts.

While on the journey to Solitude, before Sheva had joined the Bard's College, she needed to stop for the night at Rorikstead. It was a nice enough little hamlet, but Erik's boredom at seeing his whole life stretched out before him grew into a sense of wanderlust. He needed a traveller's help to convince his father that it's time for Erik to leave the nest, much like Sheva had just done herself.

But Sheva knew all to well the dangers of stepping out your front door. Any moment your feet could be swept out from under you like it did to her, it was the reason she was stuck in Skyrim in the first place. Bad luck falls hardest with the greatest of risks, and no greater risk was there than a life by the blade. But the old lessons of her Redguard mother gnawed at Sheva's conscience, that struggle and strife strengthen the soul...

In the end her mother's words won out, and Sheva even gave her own precious gold to ensure the boy got a proper outfitting. After a night's worried rest, Sheva continued to Solitude and the Bard's College. Which leads us to the present day...

During another trip from Whiterun to Solitude on Sheva's first bardic tour of Whiterun Hold, Sheva found herself again in the Frostfruit Inn. This time she saw the results of her sponsorship, the freshfaced mercenary Erik "the Slayer" in a full suit of iron plate. Such a grand (though inacurrate) title inspired our Khajiit/Reguard to give herself an appellation, Sheva of Two Sands. Born of Hammerfell's Alik'r desert and Elsweyr's sandy badlands of Anequina, Sheva believes hers is more acurrate but less likely to sell to the boisterous Nords than "the Slayer". Sheva wanted to make sure the greenhorn farmboy gets a proper education on the adventuring life, from someone who has been in his eager shoes. So when she left Rorikstead to see what the Bard's College yet needed from her, she didn't leave alone... Still got a lot of Sheva content lined up, so if you don't like it then keeping quiet isn't going to solve anything. Up next, somewhat ahead of chronology, is another look at a quest mod I've had sitting on my list for a while. This one isn't a crossover, and may be just a little bit fruity. I'm not sure if renaming the PC during a playthough is advised, looking into it now but a word about it here would be grand. [editline]15th July 2017[/editline] By the way, audience participation is encouraged! It was you who picked Sheva in the first place. If you have a title suggestion (or think I should make 'of Two Sands' official with showracemenu), a quest or quest mod, outfit, or other such thing you want me to consider for Sheva go ahead and let me know.
rename him to Erik the PUS55Y54Y3R [editline]14th July 2017[/editline] tbh another dream of a project of mine was to create a no limits shitposting overhaul that renames people and names to something worse for example the book 'The Refugees' would be named to 'The """""refugees"""""' but there will only probably be like 10 jokes in it and half of them would probably be too tryhard
Just marry your companion, I don't think there's an event where people just out of nowhere commit seppuku upon seeing an expensive sword.
There is no one worth marrying in this game Especially companions
There is no one worth marrying in this game Especially companions
Now that you mention it, I think it felt that way for me too. It's like, I didn't really felt any warmth from any NPC. Maybe because nobody/women NPC ever smiled at us with a genuine positive feeling directed at us. Or displaying any positive facial gestures/speech at all. And during quests, no NPC successfully simulate sense of companionship. It's like, when you get hurt, they should come on their own volition and heal us or something. They're just following us, that's all. Most of the interaction only revolves around materialistic need. There are none available for pure social needs. I think some game like Gravity Rush 2 manage to simulate some of these aspect social contact really well, despite its lack of depth. In GR2, you can just go to any NPC, and gesture them with various gesture (from waving hand to butt-humping), and they will respond back with their own reaction, complete with facial expression. We cannot speak to them, and we get nothing from interacting with them, but their various behavior and response really makes them feel alive, and we can feel emotions from and towards them, despite being superficial programming.
There is no one worth marrying in this game Especially companions
I have a soft spot for Sylgja in Shor's Stone, it also means you can go adventuing with your mother-in-law. But if you're on the PC you can marry aaaaanyone.
Love and Marriage are gimmicks in games where there isn't a good plotline dedicated to that one character. Doubly so where there isn't any hint of like actual romantic interest in NPCs unless you put on the Amulet of Mara. Muiri and Camilla Valerius are the only NPCs that show a SHED of interest in the player character before you put on the amulet of mara.
Unless marrying someone gets me a castle and political alliance it's not worth it
The Crusader Kings approach, I can respect that.
The Crusader Kings approach, I can respect that.
If it was the CK approach I'd be murdering my daughter with a Lisp and impregnating my Jarl's wife for a claim to the throne. Maybe a little seduction on the Jarl himself :v:
Honestly the only good marriage is one based on combat, if your husband or wife is no good in combat, they're not a good marriage candidate, I don't care about shop discounts and getting Gold from their little invisible shop when I'm carrying 100k+ Gold and can buy anything I fucking want to but don't because I don't NEED to, if they can fight and fight well, they're good. If I was to go off looks and not fighting skills though Muiri, Senna, Camilla, and a few others, then sure, honestly one of the better wives in my eyes is probably Borgakh the Steel Heart, she doesn't look that bad even in default Unmodded Skyrim, she uses Heavy Armour (Naturally) and One-Handed, the downside is her levelling stopping at 30.

why are those argonian eyes in particular the most prone to glitching the fuck out

I wouldn't be nearly as unsatisfied about all the new versions of Skyrim if Bethesda invested the effort to patch more bugs between them. Finding out that the ancient shrouded cowl simply does not work on an Argonian character after the fact is quite frustrating.
Shrouded cowl technically broken on males too as it does not provide the masked variant.
