Beyond Skyrim: Bruma is now available for Special Edition! I'd highly suggest giving it a go, it is so much smoother in SE and really shows the work we've all put into every little bit of it. :)
EDIT:
Just to add: The Bruma release for Special Edition features significantly upgraded texture resolution for improved visuals. Now we're going to be focusing on the Xbox release. The Cyrodiil team will then be moving forward and working hard to get the full province released, and we also have several other teams working towards pre-releases of their own. If there's anyone around with even limited skills in 2D/3D Art, knowledge or past experience with writing and/or scriptwriting, or the Creation Kit (both level designing and implementation), we are looking for new members to help us get these next releases out. These projects are massive, and we definitely need new members if we're going to have a chance of getting them out in a reasonable timeframe. If anyone is interested then please drop over to our Discord, or create a thread in the Recruitment section of our forums.

Why would you segment releases with deliberately degraded quality.
Who does that.
Thanks to precompiled shaders the 64 version will never look as good as 32, so you downgrading it provides literally no benefit to users whom understand the engine, which is quite a few.
64 also has better frametimes ONLY if you have sufficiently fast memory so "smoother" also isn't a thing except for load stability thanks to the 64 bit framework and said dx11 frametime.
If you guys were actually doing as much research as you're positing here you would have known why 32 is still played over 64 by a significant margin.

I have to agree, why would you make the standard edition use lower-res textures? You know it's more than able to handle hi-res.
I'm going to ask this here as well as the Nexus forums, because I know some of you are modders yourself.
My mod, to keep things a little under wraps, only alters item names. No form IDs, no level lists, no item stats or any of that. Just the names. So I'm wondering, should I add the official and unofficial patches as master files? I know not everyone uses the full unofficial patch, like those who don't have every DLC (I can't blame anyone for not wanting to play Dawnguard but that's a talk for another day) but it's a pretty common requirement. I've looked at the changelog of the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch and while the changes it makes to the items my mod alters seem to all be text fixes I can;t be sure due to the sheer volume of changes on the list. I guess maybe looking through it with TES5Edit? I'm also unsure on how a bashed patch and its 'import names' function would interact with my mod, whether it would remove the need for any masters besides Skyrim or do something else. I know not everyone uses WryeBash either, some people mod very casually...
The official patch itself doesn't seem to alter anything I want to change, but you can never be too sure with Bethesda's "top quality" bug fixing skills being memetic in the community. I could add both as Masters just to be sure, but I don't want to mess this up and I don't want to alienate anyone from enjoying my mod so any advice, input, comments, or "git gud"s would be appreciated. If worst comes to the worst then good old-fashioned DIY testing is an option, but I'd be a fool to ignore all the information I can get.
I'm pretty sure that wyre bash and patchus maximus handle things based on the changed data.
Doesn't hurt to use TES5Edit and run the usuals before submitting a mod.

You're going to have to tell me what these usuals are because this is my first rodeo. And what about those that don't use USLEEP or Wrye Bash?
C-Can someone help me? I have massive pop-in with Oblivion and NMM is suddenly not letting me install ANY mods (it just says "a problem occurred during install" and doesn't install the mod).

Maybe it's a sign to switch to Mod Organizer?
Maybe it's a sign to switch to Mod Organizer?
yeah but then id lose convenience factor

Anyone who doesn't have the unofficial patches and/or don't use merging programs like wyre bash/patchus maximus are fools.
Wyre Bash Usuals are
- Cleaning Dirty Edits
- Removing Identical to Master records
- Undeleting and disabling References

Is your mods not working convenient to you?

Aren't those TES5Edit things?
[editline]16th July 2017[/editline]
Oh also, according to the changelog nothing I want to alter is touched by USLEEP so I don't need to use it as a master.

On mod comments I've seen loads of people having problems using NMM on Oblivion, and I think the general consensus is not to bother.
I'm going to ask this here as well as the Nexus forums, because I know some of you are modders yourself.
If I remember, most responsible mod makers will forward the fixes from USLEEP into their mods rather than make it a master. In theory you might make it a master and then forget to forward the fixes anyway, such that you override USLEEP's item records with un-patched ones.
I think in your case it's best to experiment and find out whether a TES5Edit merged patch or a bashed patch works well for your mod's compatibility, and refuse to help anyone who fucks up their game by failing to use it.

I was kinda hoping they'd go for something more unique with Roscrea, especially since it's one of those areas in the lore where the only thing canon about it is that it exists, but it still looks interesting.
Starting to get too familiar with vanilla Skyrim so I installed Inigo; hoooooly shit he's the best follower a Dragonborn can ask for. You can tell that so much work was put into him and his behavior. I regret not installing him before being as far into my current save as I am; definitely will need to take him with me all the way through my next character.
I'm sorry we went a page without a Sheva post, here's something terrible to compensate.
So I had a "carriages actually move" mod installed along with a "see your sexy, sexy fantasy body in 1st-person" mod. They didn't go too well together if you messed around with the camera

Maybe Sheva didn't avoid having her head cut off, not that it's slowed her down any.

"Who're you callin' pinhead?"
If you want a Sheva-cone of your very own, you can get the racemenu preset here. The only difference between that file and this playthrough is the lip colour. The preset has a bit of red lippy on whereas Sheva of Two Sands here is going au naturale.

well that's horrifying.

MO can use any linking or symbolics NMM does, MO can install any mod NMM can (and the ones it can't)
There is no one worth marrying in this game
Especially companions
Free food and an extra vendor if you get married
If you find an amulet of Mara you may as well take the 5 minutes to get married to get those bonuses even if you don't give a shit about anyone. I mean Lydia's available pretty much right from the get-go and I don't use companions with shitty stealth so

I really hope for two things in ESVI:
1.) Bring back calipers
2.) Give us a downsized version of FO4's settlement system so we end up with "Hearthfire but not super half-assed and completely restrictive" if for no reason other than giving me a reason to pick up calipers like I used to when I was 10 and didn't realize they had no use
So what's the go-to face/headmesh mod that isn't just running blur in paint.net?
rolling your own or Citrus.
