Are there any mods that give power attacks a chance to ragdoll enemies by default? I think it would be cool to knock down an enemy in the direction of your swing and have them get back up
There various perk mods that add that to certain power attacks by some weapons.

Does the Special Edition of Skyrim still have that problem where your fired arrows fail to hit enemies after traveling a certain distance? Wondering if I need to change that one .ini setting again or if that was fixed already.
Also, anyone here use Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul? It sounds neat, but I'm afraid of the bugs or bloat it might cause. Does it work well? [editline]17th June 2017[/editline] Where's my merge?
Anyways, is the Elder Scrolls Online worth it? Considering on getting the Gold edition along with the Morrowind expansion when it goes on sale. Never really played an MMO let alone an MMORPG, so would ESO be good enough for a singleplayer experience? I had purchased Elder Scrolls Online previously but refunded it after experiencing technical issues with trying to install the game, as the game would uninstall itself after I tried to launch it for some reason.
Where's my merge?
If I remember correctly, posts will merge if you post within an hour after you made the original post. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
I tried eso early on in the beta but didn't like it at all.
Anyways, is the Elder Scrolls Online worth it?
it was gifted to me from a friend and I still believe the game itself wasn't worth my time and I don't think it's worth most people's time either. There are people in here that think it's worth checking out, and there's nothing wrong with believing that ESO is worth time + money, but the game is pretty barren player wise and quality content wise. MMO wise, there are better first time MMOs out there. I'm going to shill and recommend that you try out Guild Wars 2 if you want to get into MMOs.
That little hump between the One Tamriel and ESO: Morrowind, can we assume that's the Homestead update?
That little hump between the One Tamriel and ESO: Morrowind, can we assume that's the Homestead update?
Yes, homestead came out Dec of 2016 and during a sale, which was when I got the game.
As a single player experience I found the game to get tedious very fast. The PvE becomes very repetitive and there's not enough unique gameplay to support the 'unique' dialogue from all the quests (which gets tedious too due to the fact that all the characters are the same just with a different name and different problem, no development or personality). The game is enjoyable with friends, and being an MMO you'd hope it would, however that brings me to the single biggest turn off I've found in the game: the DLC isn't shared across servers, which I learnt the hard way when I purchased both the Imperial City and Orsinium while playing on one server with friends and then purchased the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild while playing on another.
Does it require steam? Because people could be playing it outside of steam as well.
Mt soul is now bound to Hircuine as well. Get in line bub. I hate the Companions though. Any way to wipe them out? I've thought about enlisting them ALL into the Blades but that didn't really work out.

i've been away for a while something about paid mods coming back?
i've been away for a while something about paid mods coming back?
Not exactly.
Anyways, is the Elder Scrolls Online worth it? Considering on getting the Gold edition along with the Morrowind expansion when it goes on sale. If you expect anything like the traditional Elder Scrolls experience you're going to be massively let down. People say it's better now because as the game's life has gone on they've implemented features to make it better, but those are equivalent to toppings on a pizza. If the dough is undercooked and soggy, you're not gonna like it no matter how good the pepperonis and etc are. (And tbh the crime system is pretty shit anyway. From my experience, it didn't reduce your crime level once you died, so I had to just let a guard kill me like 3 times until they stopped attacking.) [editline]17th June 2017[/editline]
i've been away for a while something about paid mods coming back?
tl;dr outsourced, community-made, and in-house DLC in the form of microtransactions. You pay $[x] for [y] "Credits" and can buy stuff like weapons/armors, skins, and gameplay mods. There's some good modders in the club (expect to see blue tape weapons and trains) as well as at least one shit-stirring fuckwit, so time will tell how Bethesda handles their creators talking shit to their customers.
I kinda wished instead of fifty different copies of Skyrim being released that they would make another official big DLC expansion or two as a surprise. But with the Creation Club, I doubt that will happen now.
i've been away for a while something about paid mods coming back?
Yep. Paid microtransactions, courtesy of bethesda only vetted club, which includes such amazing user friendly modders such as Arth "any mod you have that my mod doesn't work with is your fault" moor, HothTrooper (who has never made an actual mod in his life) War "Putin is the hero earth needs" Daddy and Ous "I've never modeled anything in my life but am now the literal gatekeeper of all Skyrim custom bodies" nius. It'll be great I'm sure. :weeb: On the plus side they have ensisisisisiaiaisaisaisaiaion and trainwiz, so I guess there's that. Also isoku suddenly shut up about all the new mods he was planning to do since the last paid mods trainwreck so he's probably already in as well.
cant really use steamcharts since the majority of the games playerbase aren't using the steam version its actually pretty hard to switch over to steam too, they advertise that you can't infact, they make you think you have to make a new acc
I think it's accurate when it comes to trends and not total people playing. It's important to also note that the steam version came out 4 months later, and that was when ESO was unquestionably a terrible mmo.
You're talking about an MMO. Yes people quit all the time as with all games, but that doesn't mean there aren't still a ton of people playing.
I've managed to widdle away my quest log but I still have like 5 that are bugged out and refuse to finish or update. ;-;
I just started skyrim for the first time in a very long time. And I'm only now realizing, there's only 4 guards protecting the prisoners in the intro, 2 of which are driving the wagons. They probably could've easily overpowered them before they got to town. Also holy shit 3 or so years and i still didn't want to sit through the intro, I need to grab alternate start
On the topic of ESO population, there was always people everywhere i went when i bought it 2 years ago and theres always people everywhere i go when i recently started playing again a few days ago. Its far from barren.
Any one know of a mod for Skyrim that adds the ability to create armor sets? Like, if I'm in a town, I want to hit a single button and switch to a pre-made set of gear I created. Or, hit a button and switch to a pre-made set of heavy or light gear. edit: I think I may have found something http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4380/? with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5884/? I'm playing on SSE and the creating custom sets doesn't work since it requires SKSE, but at least I can find the gear I need rather quickly and easily
I'm so confused, I wanted to play skyrim, spent this morning getting the mods i wanted, started the game, and now I feel like I've already lost interest, wtf
I'm so confused, I wanted to play skyrim, spent this morning getting the mods i wanted, started the game, and now I feel like I've already lost interest, wtf
Welcome to the viscous cycle that has claimed us all
Paid microtransactions
paid is redundant, BTW. microtransactions already imply that there's money being exchanged for goods. Sorry to be anal about that. But yeah, there's some good modders in the CC, some that might be overrated, and others that just goes to show that Bethesda doesn't really look for quality, just for popularity.
I'm so confused, I wanted to play skyrim, spent this morning getting the mods i wanted, started the game, and now I feel like I've already lost interest, wtf
It happens. I've only recently gotten a mod set up that I'm personally happy with but it was a month long project and needed a ton of mental discipline.
