Up until past this point: that image looked like some sort of magazine ad. Then I scrolled down a little bit more.
you don't read power girl comics then do you
you don't read power girl comics then do you
Nope. But from this statement I gather that there are breasts. Presumably large ones.
Power Girl = Tit Window because she couldn't come up with an Emblem or something like that, but it's really because she's got big tits.

A little house near a main city with a mom, dad and a sibling. I suspect doing only that wouldn't be too fancy or require too much work. Ideally I'd like for the player to interact with them, have conversations with them and do a couple of quests here and there, like getting supplies for your family or making sure the nearby area is safe but that will require some research in how to do quests I think. (Another idea was that you could give them gifts and in return you receive a home-cooked meal from you mother.) I love slice of life mods and I think this could work well. Any ideas you'd think might work/like to see in a mod like this?
will it be compatible with animated prostitution
we'll see how easy it is to make that possible. probably wouldn't be too hard to make all family members marriable tho..
i wanna install the injury animation mod but when I run fnis it says it's there, but whenever I actually use it it just... tposes me
we'll see how easy it is to make that possible. probably wouldn't be too hard to make all family members marriable tho..
will my little imouto moan "hello" fuckingly everytime i brush past them?
Are you sure you haven't gone full _Maverick_ ?
I just got done watching a ton of old Novajam videos, I think I need to calm down. If you want my honest opinion, I don't think a family mod is a terrific idea if made seriously and with any depth, given how varied the backstory any given player character can be. Either the player is a roleplaying type-a guy and then it's a complete shot in the dark whether they have a character that fits the family or if they are willing to make one due to the high quality of the mod. On the other hand if you do make 'Incest Simulator: Skyrim Edition' and get a video from, like, MxR or Boobs and Lube or all those other shitty "this mod has boobs in it titties titties tittes, also this mod makes brooms look HD but there are no titties but I'm going to make titty jokes anyway way like 'I wish Lydia would tittyfuck that broom to tease me'" mod reviewers that I've been forced to endure while making my crazier mod list then you'll get into the Creation Club Cool Kids Club in no time. But youu'd have to accommodate for every race combination like with a FOMOD installer to pic which family members you want and what race they are. That's a lot of combinations already, and on top of that you'd have straight/gay dialogue changes if you want to be all inclusive. Then there are personality types... So you'd either have to go for the biggest single demographic or else have a cat's cradle of "do you want sweet kindly mom, saucy cougar mom, or no mom? What race?" and then write and get voices for straight and gay for both. Sorry that this is a longwinded post, I think I'm getting a lot off my chest about this whole modding thing and those terrible mod reviewers. I prefer reviewers of terrible mods.

But that's going beyond "simple."
I mean you could just give the player full control of creating them from looks to personality and make it compatible with a certain sex framework if you want kinky shit. But that's going beyond "simple."
That's my point, either this is going to be the BS: Bruma of Sex Mods with the neccessary team of coders, writers, and voice actors, or it isn't going to be for every character/player and that just makes some people mad.
valid points.
Yeah, I see what you mean, to be completely honest I was mainly doing it for my own benefit, my favorite way to play skyrim is through roleplay, and i know that if i'd like a family then others would too. like i said it's just a simple mod nothing too fancy.

Just put it out there and let those who want to pick it up. Though you might be wary of going too far and making a creepy-ass stepford wife secret cult of the damned vibe if it's all smiles and sweetrolls.

This mod. Never play the game without it, never enter a cave with it.
I mean, before you enter the house you could talk to an npc or something who asks you about your past and that could change your family. e.g "I was adopted" means that you could be a nord raised by argonians, as example
I had idea while trying to sleep. It's part of my necrobook idea where you have to do bad things for the book to teach you spells. Original idea is killing NPCs but that's just stale. I decided to go a little cliche and make it so you break all Ten Commands, but I realised that my mod already involves all ten of them, except Talos' commandment and maybe Akatosh's commandment since Talos' one is "don't be a fucking pussy lol" and Akatosh is "Serve and obey your Emperor. Study the Covenants. Worship the Nine, do your duty, and heed the commands of the saints and priests." There are situations in the main quest of the mod where you can be a dick to the needy (Stendarr), profane the spirits of the dead (Arkay), disrupt the peace between family members (Mara), steal (Zenithar), be a cunt to nature (Kynareth), destroy a friendship (Dibella), break the law (Julianos), worship daedra (Akatosh. Worshipping Daedra means you deny the divines, probably.), and be a cunt to others (All). I kinda want to pursue this idea since most of the work is done already. I just need to come up with spells relevant to these acts. Any thoughts or ideas?I have a few rough ones for each divine. Stendarr: Plague spell that deals AOE damage based on how many npcs are in the area. Arkay: Summon spell that can raise both the corpse and the spirit to serve the caster. Mara: I was stuck on this for a while until I came up with the idea of a frenzy spell that's contagious. A target who's frenzied who attacks someone will have that someone gain a the same frenzy spell, and so on. Zenithar: Stuck on this. Some sort of stealing spell sounds pretty neat but I already have an enchanted weapon that steals, plus this spell would make pickpocket redundant so I have no clue honestly. Kynareth: Stuck on this one, even though it sounds like the easiest. There's already a "bonus damage to creatures" enchantment. I might make a spell that acts as a crafting menu that allows you to mix alchemy ingredients together to make poisons (since it's relevant to the scenario where you insult kyne) but that would be a lot of work. Dibella: No idea. Maverick is strictly forbidden from giving suggestions btw. Julianos: Thinking of a spell that deals damage the higher your bounty is. Akatosh: Bonus power to all daedric artifacts. Hopefully this won't be a problem to implement since some daedric artifacts have fixed enchantment strengths that can't be modified. All: Reward for obtaining all spells. Can't think of anything at the moment but it needs to be really worthwhile in getting but at the same time doesn't cheese the game as much as level 100 enchanting and level 100 smithing would cheese the game.
You know you've made it when Bruma is listed on Can You Run It? Also, for anyone interested in 3D art for Skyrim, going to be streaming the second part of weapon modelling in about 20 minutes which will cover high poly, retopo and (depending on how early in the morning it is) baking.
How about a distance steal spell that will take a single random item from the target's inventory?
How about a distance steal spell that will take a single random item from the target's inventory?
Might take your target's underwear, too risky.
Might take your target's underwear, too risky.
Sounds perfect.

Maybe make it a spray spell if you can't make it look good as a ball of icky that booms. To replace Stendarr, maybe have that be a low-cost Summon Dremora spell that ignores the 1/2 limit summon. If you can get the spell to conjour a random, even modded, Daedric creatures then all the better. Or, as the antithesis of the God of Mercy you can cast a spell on a bleeding enemy and either get a bonus after killing them under its effect or it keeps them in bleed out and buffs you while torturing them, making it a cruel mercy. Dibella is a tricky one, maybe a spell that turns people into draugr who either flee or fight for you? Or something with tentacles because tentacles are gross? Zenithar could sunder arms or armour, undo their craftsmenship. Either it puts them in the NPC's inventory for later looting or heavily drains armour/damage rating as a stat to make it seem as though their equipment has degraded. Julianos is the god of knowledge and scholars, how about a destructive spell that's really good but takes a book out of your inventory to cast. Is that possible? As for the big end reward, maybe a whole new transformation of a redskinned Gargoyle that can really fuck shit up? Or maybe you get Alduin's meteor shower Shout?
Might take your target's underwear, too risky.
I'm all about this.
