after seeing sheva rebooted, I'm kinda tempted to continue my orc lady's story
Speaking of progress I was going to do a silent let's play of that one Dovakinn's infamy mod but I stopped cause it wasn't that good since there were a few bugs. Basically the first quest made you a gossiping cuck enabler so there really wasn't anything interesting going on.
Is Akatosh's inverse spell a concentrate spell? Because using a weapon while casting is a pain and limits options. A lesser power, constant ability, or a fire-and-forget self-cast would be better. Maybe call Frenzy Cloak, Spreading Hate or Wave of Hate or something like that. Call Kynareth's Necrotize or something sicknasty. Add a bit of spice, you know? Right now it's a bit dry. I can understand the descriptions needing to be clear but you can play around with the names.
I'll make it a fire and forget spell but reduce the bonus to 50% and make it so that the caster has 25% fire resistance and 20 bonus fire damage on hit to make it interesting. Names and all the stuff come last. Functionality first, detail later.
after seeing sheva rebooted, I'm kinda tempted to continue my orc lady's story
I'll admit i'm tempted to do one as well. but somehow i don't think it'd be appropriate for this Christian forum :v:

In other news I discovered that the player itself can have it's own AI packages. I created a spell that actually makes it so the player can lose control be affected by fear (see: running around sporadically, avoiding NPCS).

Fear masks the health bars on NPCs and fakes them having higher health/armour than they actually do, or just flat out reduces the PC's damage to 0 so you have to run. Frenzy makes your followers attack you but makes them appear as bandits somehow, meaning you have to defend yourself or break the Illusion by resisting (not fighting). Or you just attack non-stop and are made to beeline for the nearest NPC but that's taking control from the player and that's no fun. Courage can be a straight buff that keeps you in the fight as to not waste it. Calm would have to either make all hostile NPCs (seemingly) vanish or make you sheath your weapon but that's also taking away control. I guess Calm would have to be a plot device rather than a dynamic thing. Like you're set to guard something but then some sultry/handsome vampire hexes you and makes off with whatever it is you were asked to protect. I don't know, seems like too much trouble for what it's worth. There are few master Illusionist antagonists, probably for the reason that the PC isn't affected by Illusion spells excepted invisiblity. I guess because they're Dragonborn and dragons are immune to Illusion magic. ROFLBURGER, I found you a niche! Make an Illusionist bad guy. Like, Jagar Tharn was trapped in Oblivion after his gem thingy was broken and has returned. Or maybe Blagar Blarn is trying to perfect Illusion magic to a level beyond mere trickery and can do nearly anything and you got to stop him or else he'll take your identity and fuck your wife/man-wife. That's the quest mod I'd make.

one of them just took a bong hit while discussing lore incredible
I'm pretty sure that's the intended Elder Scrolls experience
I'm pretty sure that's the intended Elder Scrolls experience
Its the only way mere mortals can approach Kirkbride's level.
And it's right when one of them describes the Aubris as a philosophic argument around 35:20. Perfect.

Been using Requiem as my main mod recently as I got bored of Ordinator, I'm on the fence if I like it or not. It can go from a fun challenge to stupidly tedious in seconds I really have to question some of the design choices there [sp]invisible entities just for one[/sp] I might try PerMa next, have any of you fine people had experience with it good or bad?
PerMa is fun but kind of tedious to work with if you plan on using large, frequently changing mod builds. It also falls into a common problem with large mods such as these where you need to constantly check the mod page for information on what is going on, because it does way more than the ingame UI can provide info for.
I totally didn't shared universe soft reboot retool my Sheva mod list to switch from The Notice Board to the more lightweight Missives mod. This owl is a wise owl and he says so. Owl is from Beasts of Tamriel, which also just updated so I'd have to restart anyway. Not that I did.
What are some Morrowind mods that make the game more Skyrim-like (only half-joking) and also blend in with the game instead of going through a bunch of nonstandard menus (if that's a thing in Morrowind mods)?
I've encountered a minor issue in Special Edition where my character has the flame spout trap effect tied to him. Every so often in the corner I see the flame trap effect but it does absolutely nothing else. I know how to purge those effects but I'm unaware of the exact ID for this effect. Is there a list somewhere I could use ?

It's weird how much lighting and shaders can do for your game. Nothing here looks super out of place for morrowind.
This is actually cooler than it looks, since this is actually OpenMW modified to load Skyrim content. It's not Skyrim content ported back to Morrowind but a test by this user to get OpenMW to load stuff from the later Bethesda games directly from the source files. They mostly worked on Oblivion stuff before they stopped uploading, like ragdoll physics and animation tests.
I want OpenRim now
