As for my character, I've not completely abandoned the Sheva project, I've just gotten addicted to Doom, have a looooong to-play list, and my next planned post is just asking for comments, critiques, and suggestions on my mod list. I'm particularly worried about combat overhauls. I worry about stupid stuff.
Right now I'm making a new and improved New Vegas mod list in preparation of TTW 3.0 coming out soon, so I'm going to be a little burned out from modding...

So I modded out my Skyrim and the only problem I have now is that certain NPC's have invisible armor, and clothes with pink textures that oddly make it look like they're wearing pajamas. The only armor mod I have installed is Immersive Armors. Any idea what's causing this?
I just realized ESO has a terrible customer support and forum registration. I bought the game on Steam last year and still haven't activated my forum account (I just learned today that you receive an invitation code after you buy the game so you can use the forums), and the help desk login page isn't working.

Probably a mod conflict or load order issue? Try to use LOOT to sort your load order. Any other armor mods?

Did you make sure to run your mod manager as an administrator? The mod managers need admin rights to place textures into the program files directory.

Made a dark elf mage who has a focus on destruction and archery. Has a focus on lightning spells and he still needs a crossbow.
SKSE64 has started alpha testing.
Christ, this long after release aswell.
If it gets going and we get a good few modders switch over then this will be fantastic

I know this might be a niche question, but I'm playing this time around with a controller, the thing is that Skyrim won't let me bind some of the more useless actions (third/first person, sheath etc.) to not take up space on my controller that I want for other mod-added ones (dodge, drink potion etc.). So does anyone know how too set these to the keyboard instead where they won't take up room?

You could try using the Steam controller setup thing to bind keyboard actions to controller buttons. As far as I'm aware Bethesda only disables the mouse whenever a controller is plugged in.

I've had that silly though. What if the next Elder Scrolls was set in industrial revolution world like Arcanum?
In one side we have some races which use the found Dwemer technology (which afaik use magic and enhancements to make em work) while the other ones uses the non-magical ones and have a conflict between em if the next Uriel Septim picks the latter one.
Is it me or does SMIM really increase the chances of game crashes? Every time i've added it to my mod load order, besides once on Special Edition, it's always made my game more unstable.
I haven't been posting here of late, I'm going to University full time and I have actual things to focus on, but here's a progress video that I promised like 3 months ago.

First segment is that lust spell I talked about, got the idea from fallout's widowmaker and confirmed bachelor's perk where you deal damage against a certain sex.
Second is a WIP spell that has a contagious frenzy effect. Currently it's pretty OP and I'm finding ways to balance it.
Third is a moving tesla ball at the closet target, includes caster. Another variant that I'm making is a soulgem turret that spawns at the desired location for a certain amount of time.
Fourth is a plague spell that deals damage based on how many targets are nearby.
Fifth is that fear spell that puts the player under AI control, and causes them to be feared.
As you may have noticed there are like 20 other effects, most are either broken or not worth showing yet.

Well SMIM is just a mesh replacer, so it shouldn't conflict with anything. The only CTD issues I can imagine stemming from it are either missing meshes, or all the new high poly meshes are too much for your game (which makes sense on Oldrim, which was unstable anyways). That, or some mod is conflicting with SMIM, and making it look like it's SMIMs fault, but there's no way to know that without a load order and more details about the crashes.

I always get an error when using LOOT with SMIM's plugin but I just ignore it, maybe there's something wrong with that?
