I can save now, but all my old saves are still not being read and when I load up the save it gets stuck on the loading fog.

Some random miner NPC in Skyrim asked me if I had any mead to spare, I said yes, then I gave him all my booze. After conversation he said "Until next time", proceeded to start dancing while holding a mug.
I got a spawnable spell turret working, gimmick is you place a turret and whatever spell you cast on it will shoot that spell constantly over time. Probably going to be broken as shit since the spells that are cast from the turret are free and doesn't have a casting time, only a fixed delay that will be roughly 1-0.25 seconds.
However the spell will be introduced when you defeat the final boss, one of the stages for the bossfight is that you're supposed to shoot a targeted healing spell at the turret and make it heal you instead of damage you.

That's a really cool idea.
Will the player know to do this tho?
I'm assuming you'll give the player some guidance on how you can uses the turrets beforehand.
And if you can alter enemy turrets, does that mean enemies can alter yours?

I mean it's possible for enemies to alter your turrets but they won't ever shoot at them AI wise unless it's entirely accidental.

i'm legitimately curious about how this would end up combining with various sex mods. would you end up with a turret no one can get near because they're on their knees too much?
