Not on sale though.
And if you look for it in the steam store via search, you get this:

The only way you can actually find Oldrim is via Skyrim Script Extender's Steam store page, which has a link to oldrim.
It seems bethesda wants the inferior, when it comes to mods atm, version to be the only one sold now. It might be due to confusion for which one to buy, for those who have never bought skyrim.
Or it's to get people to buy the version that will have the Creators Club implemented into it. But I'll use Occam's razor and say this probably was the former case.
Goddamnit, ESOMorro and now playing Pillars of Eternity makes me want to replay Morrowind again.
Anyone have a decent modlist as an alternative to the long outdated and buggy MGSO3 list?
The original game and DLCs don't go on sale anymore.
Oldrim isn't even listed on the store anymore.
It is, but you have to link directly to it from the web.
Beth is legally obligated to keep it up.

You'd think if they wanted to deter people that much, instead of just pretending they don't want you to buy it, they just go full retard and up the price of the game and all DLCs to $500. Only reason people are still buying LE is for SKSE and Enderal really, and as soon as SKSE64 drops Enderal will be the only thing worth downloading LE for.
Worst case scenario Bethesda scores $500 because people dumb.
Not even kind of.
There are a shit-ton of mods that don't and won't transfer 1:1, and ironically enough 64 will never look as good as 32 because they precompiled most of the rendering code and don't allow access to it like 32 does, never mind the absolutely shit textures.
Is this legit? it looks pretty promising

Apparently they are gonna have info on the release in a month or so, and I really hope this thing is legit because TO is pretty much dead
Worst case scenario Bethesda scores $500 because people dumb.
If they're smart enough to have $500 I'm sure they're smart enough to stumble onto a link to G2A.
[editline]a[/editline]
I suppose raising the price to $500 would raise G2A prices considerably, but I mean I'm sure they'd be a far cry from $500.

The only thing they could really fake is the chat. It would be more impressive if they managed to fake everything else.
Ooh boy, DFU got some good progress
???
Legally obligated is a strong expression to use. Any source on that? Are they legally obligated to keep it up because they can't remove games (like EA as) or because it's a remaster?
WTF does "strong expression" mean, a fact is a fact.
Read Steam's catalog TOS and the Eula.
While the eula isn't legally binding, it does cover and describe that Skyrim and Skyrim LE is and are a completely different SKU(s) than SSE, and it has to remain up as long as valve maintains third party content support, and there are owners of Skyrim that cannot buy the new version because of hardware specs, that bought the steam version specifically, especially if they didn't buy all the of the DLC.

Looks legit, but also looks like the exact same implementation that TO used, and thus is gonna suffer the same limitations. Also was Skyrim Together the one where the author was garbage? Because there was an online mod that was promising that and the mod author was the kind of person who gives out cough medicine to trick-or-treaters.

Here's the subreddit

I've been keeping an eye on it for quite a while. It's legit and pretty in depth. A much different and implementation than tamrielonline

I hate that quest so much.
The sword is crap, looks ugly and not as powerful as what I'd be using anyway.
If there was a dawnbreaker greatsword, battle-axe or warhammer maybe I'd give it a go once again.

Put this in your Skyrim\data\textures\clutter\dawnbreakerpedestal folder, and rename the file to "crystal.dds"
There, you kinda forgot the instructions.
And what it looks like ingame:

mmm, meridia's bacon. No wonder why she wanted it back.

I like to quickloot from boss chest and I always get a jumpscare when I hear that loud as fuck sound.
[editline]25th June 2017[/editline]
LISTEN, HEAR ME AND OBEY. A FOWL DARKNESS HAS SEEPED INTO MY TEMPLE, A FOUL DARKNESS YOU WILL DESTROY.
RETURN MY BEACON TO MT. KILKREATH
AND I WILL MAKE YOU AN INSTRUMENT OF MY CLEANSING LIGHT.
I have that shit fucking drilled into my head because I like playing new playthroughs.
That spider vid reminds me why did beth never bother to fix the spiders coming down from the ceiling. Even on SE, at their best they freeze mid drop animation for a second, and at their worst they sit hanging up there stuck.
I've never not seen it happen.
After the first 5 times I picked up her stupid fucking beacon I just started leaving it in the chest I found it in. I see it, and from then on I know I'm safe from that dull lengthy dungeon whose reward is little compensation for my time.
I'm having a bit of a writer's block, or really a writer's confusion on how to introduce this one character.
There's this one dumb loophole that I want to close and the only way to close it without removing my jenga tower of bad writing is to introduce this new assistant character but I cannot think of a way to introduce him.
The general plot so far is this:
The follower steals all the player's items.
The player tracks down the follower into this mine/dwemer ruin.
He meets one of his friends, who wants to to help the follower make amends for his actions and attempts to escort the player through the mine, only for it to be too dangerous and the friend having to flee the area.
The player beats the danger, and encounters the follower.
Here's where I'm stuck: someone has to activate a dangerous machine. Before it was the follower activating that something dangerous but on reflection, it would be absolutely dumb for him to activate that something dangerous since it's an attempt on the player's life, something he wants to avoid.
Since the follower built that machine, I'm thinking it would make sense for the player to have an assistant. It would be doubly beneficial to drive home the point that the follower longs for friendship, and a death of this character will be another excuse for the follower to want to stick around with the player.
However the relationship between the follower and the assistant need to be established somehow, and I can't think of any good ideas where I could do that without resorting to straight up exposition.
Ideas I've had so far and why they wouldn't work:
Just make the friend the assistant.
The friend is morally righteous, and wouldn't dare to bring harm to anyone. This character trait is essential to the plot for this quest and further down the road.
Have the assistant help the follower steal the player's items.
There wouldn't be anything for the assistant to do.
Two ideas that are last resort:
Create a fake .bik video of the player's corpse being dragged with incredibly blurred vision with the assistant freaking out about what the follower just did.
.bik video looks like shit in 2017. I think it's only limited to 30fps at 1080p so it might look a little off, and depending on how long it is, it's going to substantially increase the mod's file size.
Have the follower later mention the relationship between him and the assistant.
It's exposition but it could be an interesting moment.
have you tried adding tiddies?

What if the process of tracking the follower to the mine/dwemer ruin involves first finding the assistant who tells you where they were working because the player can't find out otherwise?
You can make a tavern situation where the two characters are arguing about "doing the thing", where the thing is never mentioned but turns out to be robbing the pc.
Leave gear and items at the beginning of the mine that establish these two are a team and have been for some time via "show don't tell", and since the mine has bosses you would assume the bosses have minions, minions that can activate stuff especially if that stuff can be used against the "invaders" of the mine for irony.
The follower can reflect on that after the fact, adding to their story, best laid plans, etc etc etc.

I've updated the armor of the bad guys to look more black instead of it's blatant chrome look, as well as diddled with some assets and retextured them to create new effects and whatnot while I figure out this writers block problem.
(mind the mistextured sword)

in my defense, her second line is when I tune her out.

I could do that, however I need the assistant to be alive. The player could easily kill him as an act of revenge.
In my mod, no one is essential and can be killed on demand and the story will adapt from it, but I can't adapt from a dead assistant because his entire purpose is to activate that lever.

The assistant needs to not be involved in the initial robbing. The robbing itself isn't planned or calculated whatsoever, it's an act of desperation as a result of a shady business deal that the follower's colleagues do not know about. However, the assistant can be involved in carrying the body which can be explained via .bik video cutscene.
The minions in the mine you're fighting are actually poorly reassembled dwarven spiders, and the final boss is a poorly assembled dwarven centurion.

They're like headcrabs, they have low health and their only attack is to jump at the player. The lighter metal of the legs, as well as the removal of some parts, makes the construct lighter and faster but weaker.

Is it essential to the story for the lever to be pulled? If it's just an extra fight, it's probably fine to have it skipped if the players murdered the assistant. Don't make it an obvious choice (no prompt to start combat, it's something the players have to do deliberately), don't make the assistant too antagonistic and most people probably won't kill him, then for those that do it's fine to just skip one boss or whatever.
If it's more essential that the lever be pulled then you'd have to think of some kind of alternative scenario if they murdered the assistant, regardless of how you introduce them.
