Anyone else here playing eso?
Just got to level 38 and did the first dungeon that was actually hard
I've been playing again recently. I'm assuming you tried to do one of the group delves. I've completed two out of three of the main faction quest lines and have only done one group delve. They require a coordinated team to complete, and I refuse to try them with randoms.
I don't think it's delve. It's a dungeon you queue up for with 3 other randoms
Well for FalloutNV there was a mod that's sole purpose was that it allowed you to go up to a women, stab her in the gut and tear out her uterus so you could eat it either fresh from her body or by grilling it
You could find them littered about the wasteland and in dumpsters, they had world models and icons too.
That was pretty unique.. :why:
I suppose one of the weirdest ones for skyrim (for me) isn't anything gorey or murderous. Those are a dime a dozen.
I'd say.. "beeing female." purely because it's so lovingly thought out and detailed that it's shocking. And it's also fun.
It's a complete pregnancy mod, it goes into insane amounts of detail on every single aspect of someone going through all the stages of pregnancy from conception to actually having the child grow up and accompany you across skyrim. You can even carry the babies (wrapped up in a blanket as armour.) and you'd even see some select NPCS pregnant and go through the same things a real pregnant person would.
I find that weird that someone would go through so much trouble to do things like this.
So for weird, that. But for outright horror?
There are mods being worked on that when a NPC character gets raped (by any of a fucking ton of rape mods that are currently available.) they fall into a almost suicidal depression where they develop forms of PTSD that fundamentally changes their character forever. Lying on the floor crying to themselves and screaming.
So that's pretty weird too. :scream:
You know, I'm glad I read this in the morning rather than before sleep.
Damn, shit i found one time when bored was tame. I just became the parent of a lil-dragonborn, forcefully.
Makes you wonder actually, if the Dragonborn bloodline can be passed down, ala the Septim line, then really there is nothing stopping the Dragonborn from getting it on like Genghis Khan and in essence creating more powerful thu'um users.

Uh oh, now you've done it.
One of the great lore arguments is the difference between the dragon blood (Septim Bloodline) and dragon born, (Miraak, LDB) general consensus seems to be that if the LDB had kids they would not be dragon born and would live in the shadow of their parents achievements before eventually turning to skooma and overdosing
The voice use annoys me.
First, obviously, it's far less epic than described in prior books, for technical reasons no doubt, but the last games said you could shout down (presumably stone) castle walls
Secondly, it's only you, the greybeards, Ulfric, and a few draugr/ghosts. There are no young folk.
And of course, the gamey mechanic of using souls to buy words. You'd think getting a dragon soul would at least give you a crazy boost to your magic or stamina along with a few other perks. If you didn't want to do something sane like -you've only got the best bonuses of the dragons- and instead went for something like "you've got the accumulated power of 30 dragons, please use surgery to stop yourself from speaking" then you're either justified in beating alduin, or better yet, the plot twist has you BECOME THE TRUE ALDUIN. (but, y'know, bethesda don't do shit like that, Get out of jail and then go find your family.)

I think, through the bullshit that is known as magic, if you spread it too much it gets diluted.

If the Dragonborn in Skyrim had never killed a dragon, or had he left the country and decided to live his life elsewhere, he would never have found out he was Dragonborn, because until he killed a dragon, nobody knew, so really it's the same thing for the Septims, we know they are Dragonborn because if they weren't the Amulet of Kings wouldn't work, nor could they wear it, but they never got the chance to encounter any of the things that allowed our protagonist to prove himself.
Like had Martin lived long enough to see the Dragons return would he have been capable of absorbing the souls of said dragons? I mean he also had special "powers" granted to him by the circumstances of his birth (the bloodline of a known Dragonborn), given he could light the dragonfires, which is stated that only a Dragonborn can light, so for all we know he was capable of just as much power as the protagonist of Skyrim if he had learnt of the Thu'um or killed a dragon, like, their really aren't any reasons NOT to think that.

Anyone with the septim bloodline is Dragonborn, so yes Martin had the ability to absorb a Dragon's soul.
And also your character in skyrim is wholly entitled to be emperor/empress. Wonder if they're going to work the fact that he was killed during the events of Skyrim in the sequel given how every single quest's positive outcome is considered canon.

Is the Emperor getting assassinated really a positive outcome tho, given it sort of puts the Empire in a weaker position.
[editline]edit[/editline]
Though I suppose it will still be canon, it's just the Dragonborn might not have been the one to do it given 99% of the time those sorts of "evil" factions don't factor into the main heroes choices, like I doubt if most events actually play out with the Dragonborn being the one to do them, since at that point he would practically be the master of everything ever and practically bi-polar with his morality.
[editline]edit[/editline]
Also, not really sure about the Dragonborn having an entitlement to the throne, I mean he isn't of royality and his status as Dragonborn alone surely wouldn't be enough, besides, that sort of thing isn't required anymore given the Amulet of Kings no longer exists and the Dragonfires no longer protect Mundus from Oblivion, as the barriers were sealed permanently when the Amulet was destroyed and the Avatar of Akatosh kicked Mehrunes Dagon out of the mortal Realm.
Like if the Amulet of Kings still existed, I'm sure that would have been a guaranteed seat on the throne, but now? He's just some extremely uniquely magical guy.
I'd like if TESVI was actually Skyrim 2 and you played as either the Stormcloaks or the Empire as a normal dude backing up the Dragonborn as he goes godmode on the Dominion and throws a bunch of dragons at them.
I honestly would prefer the Stormcloaks because it'd make for a lot more interesting of a story. They're way more complex as a faction than the Empire and the Nord aesthetic was so good in Skyrim. I'd write it so that Ulfric dies on the way to his home planet, the Dragonborn takes over, and sics all these nords and dragons on the Aldmeri and shouts them into heck.
I've a weird feeling it might be Morrowind again, but the main continent. My next nomination is Hammerfell.
I just want to kill the elves you guys
Hammerfell? Morrowind?? We must hit the banana supremacists where it hurts !!
I've a weird feeling it might be Morrowind again, but the main continent.
Morrowind was nuked though when Red Mountain erupted, everything interesting has been practically destroyed.
[editline]edit[/editline]
I'm hoping for Hammerfell or High Rock.
i hope the next skyrim is in new york
no love for elswyr, akavir, black marsh, or any of the elven isles?
no love for elswyr, akavir, black marsh, or any of the elven isles?
unlikely, supid, impossible, nearly impossible
The next Elder Scrolls game will be a Switch exclusive set in the Mushroom Kingdom, and it will require use of the motion controls.
uhh why
elsweyr would require the other khajiit breeds to finally appear, which would be tricky to make work given how odd they are
going to akavir instantly ruins it, the whole point is that it is a mystery
black marsh is mostly uninhabitable by non-Argonians, plus it is also designed around remaining mysterious
summerset is a small region with most of it inhabited exclusively by high elves and never seen by any other race, plus the crazy ass architecture
Look, I can see them doing Elsweyr or possible revisiting Hammerfell. Deserts are going to be the next "thing" every big game tries to go for.
Plus it'd lend itself well to the eventual porting over of FO4's settlement system, with building settlements in the dunes, so to speak.
The building settlements thing would also work with a game where you have to fight the Dominion, building your own forward posts and setting up supply lines for the war effort.
Are Valenwood and Hammerfell the most reasonable/possible settings?
hammerfell
the elder scrolls: origins
and black flag
I want Elf-Yiff scenario.
Elsweyr and Valenwood in one game.
It's going to be hammerfell for the same reasons it's going to be hammerfell the at least eleventyillion this premise comes up.
watching a stream of the Switch version, and the streamer decided, since hes played so much of the game before, he'd try and collect a bunch of temporary followers for the heck of it.

Main land Morrowind is mostly fine, only Vvardenfell is uninhabitable.

The Dunmer have been shit on hard.
Neravarine decides to fuck off to Akavir, the oblivion crisis hit them with the loss of Ald Rhun and more, then the red year followed by an Argonian invasion although House Dres had that one coming
What's next? Dagoth Ur isn't actually dead and you get blight 2.0
