easy we just need morrowind II actually akavir
As per the last time you asked, no one is going to play Half Snake Vore Fetishist Ninja Magic Monkey King of the West Bipedal Metal Fire Breathing Tiger with wings Akavir is never going to be a thing unless someone other than Bethesda does it.
I strongly wish they would ditch the modern american accent and manner of interaction/sentiment from these medieval europe/viking - themed game, it really breaks the medieval feeling. At least make the people speak like the NPCs in Dragon Dogma.
The dunmer are the jews of tamriel
Dunmer owned Khajiit and Argonian slaves... are the beastraces superjews?

It’s modern or even post-apocalyptic, if anything; just by the standards of an entirely different universe where magic is everything and everything is magic. Also even aesthetically only Bretons are medieval, and even then that’s just the boring common interpretation of them

TES can generally be called a 'medieval fantasy' game. Thus having the NPC speaks in that appropriate style will make it more intuitive and immersive. Now Skyrim is like that David thinker statue, but with a baseball cap on. The language felt that mismatched to me. Its too bad because I've seen some good medievalish things in TES literature, for example in the Song of Pelinal texts. If only they carry over some part of that style to the language, then it would be very promising. Nothing too dramatic, just a pinch of that medieval salt into it Final Fantasy 12 even has spaceships, but they managed to assign appropriate language style to many different ethicities. Bethesda probably dont have budget for that kind of feat, but at least make them speak somewhat more medieval
I was always annoyed by the american elves (alt/bos)in morrowind. But I've gotta say I really, really hate that they got rid of the african american voice of the redguards and replaced them with fekin arab voices. The redguards were interesting; African American look and voices (a bit more red), yet they dressed like 18th century colonials (whom they would've been victims of). Now they're just arabs in voice, dress, and have even lost the red look. I loath that bethesda want to make the cultures of Tamriel less and less interesting and far more one-note. We've all heard of what cyrodill was supposed to be... Elyswere and Argonia are undoable with bethesda the way they are now. Summerset isles is verging on that territory. Valenwood requires the cities to be on giant trees, and I don't know how technically feasible that is. But if it is by the time the next TES comes out, well honestly I've never been super invested in the bosmer, they're cannibals and there are sentient gorillas (Or am I thinking Summerset Isles?) I can't see Beth as they are now coming up with anything more complex than "save the trees" for a main quest. But at least we've got a much higher chance of a climb skill... I said that about skyrim with it's mountains. Most likely, they do hammerfell, and we marvel at how they've fucked the martial arts up, how redguards are almost a monoculture, and I complain that the dwemer are fucking all stone again despite depictions in redguard. Maybe we'll discuss guns. They do High rock, The only thing they can really do wrong there is the orcs, or maybe make the adamantine tower a lot less metal. I would not do Akavir while there's countries not covered by the games (arena doesn't count) Though I might consider an Akaviri invasion, since the snakes do that.
One of the complete provinces we have in ESO is actually Valenwood. I'd personally like to see Summerset Isles as the next main Elder Scrolls game, it's time to deal with the Thalmor for good.
All memes aside and completely serious, I'm half expecting, and wouldn't be surprised for them to make a SKYRIM 2.
They will make Skyrim 2 and then they will port it for years to come, then they will make Skyrim 3.
skyrim 2 turbo: the new challengers championship edition HD remix
skyrim 2 turbo: the new challengers championship edition HD remix
featuring dante from the devil may cry series
Skyrim has the Dominion and Rebellion arcs and leaves them both very open ended for some potentially interesting shit, so I'd unironically like a Skyrim 2 to continue these. Going to Hammerfell and leaving it in up to a book or a dialogue sequence would be kinda shitty. All the dragon stuff was cool but it was just another "go slap this man to death It's You're Destiny" type of thing that doesn't really go anywhere once it's done.
I say the Empire and Thalmor should duke it out in a huge epic battle. Man vs mer. Just like during the good Pelinal time
I remember I thought there was going to be another DLC after Dragonborn and it being a Civil War overhaul + expansion.
I remember I thought there was going to be another DLC after Dragonborn and it being a Civil War overhaul + expansion.
I feel like I'm the only one who wants the Stormcloaks to rally under the Dragonborn and go fucking NUTS on the Aldmeri Dominion. Stormcloaks may be weaker, but they're the NORDS and the Dragonborn is a fucking god and has two dragons canonically at his command -- kinda feel like that would even things out, specially when one of them is immortal. Besides that I wish more nords had gotten to use the voice in this game. Books in Oblivion and Morrowind talked about it like every nord hero had the use of the voice, and there's plenty for you to meet in Skyrim besides Ulfric and draugrs.
Main land Morrowind is mostly fine, only Vvardenfell is uninhabitable.
I think it would be cool if Vvardenfell featured in a future TES game as a special zone that is really difficult to survive in. Just looking into what the island is like now, there are posts on this reddit thread that suggest some cities were rebuilt but that it's pretty grim. Morrowind was already incredibly alien, blowing it up could make for a really interesting worldspace.

Hey, I'm about to play Oblivion for the very first time, and I was wondering if there was a lost of essential mods for it. Stuff like bug fixes and what not.
Me and gf are going to try out ESO. What classes/way of play is the most fun?
Me and gf are going to try out ESO. What classes/way of play is the most fun?
You could RP as some sort of noble, maybe an Imperial one. Your GF could RP as, oh I dunno a maid... some sort of Argonian maid
Finally my Fallout/TES crossover headcannon can be a reality
I was thinking of Fallout when I thought of it. I think Bethesda did a good job of making Fallout 4 really atmospheric with the environment and the weather effects, which would be great for exploring this sort of zone. If I was going to be really optimistic, I would say that you could even tell a pretty good story with Vvardenfell as a backdrop. The player could meet an ensemble cast of characters with their own reasons for visiting the ruined island on the voyage there, and it could require a specially fortified ship and careful navigating to get there, creating an opportunity to get to know the other passengers and explaining why it's not just the usual fast travel. Those people could then either wind up involved in the quests on Vvardenfell or be part of a bigger story, depending on how it was developed. It would make sense for them to be vital in the narrative because there'd be a lot less people on Vvardenfell. If it was like Dead Money or other Obsidian DLCs it could be quite a controlled environment with ash storms and intrigue guiding the player. If it was more like Bethesda stuff, it'd probably be quite a bit more open-ended. I've probably overthought this.

I've only ever modded Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and I know you can't use those same mod organizers.
I personally use tesmodmanager bc i like the old school feel but it does lack the bells and whistles of mod manager and NMM (which I think have problems with Oblivion? Someone correct me if I'm wrong).
I greatly dislike the Thalmor for being cartoon villains. I mean, the characters being imperious by even high elf standards aside they -Want to end the world by destroying towers -leave obvious and uncodded messages around the place describing their villany. -Once beat a nation into submission by taking the moon hostage. -Dress terribly. (though elven's one of the best sets of armour) I get it, you're supposed to hate them. You have to hate them, else the narrative doesn't work. If they were anywhere near likable, at least three questlines would need thalmor routes, and apparently people like mustach villains so it gives them hope for a sequel where you kick their ass, but I don't see much promise in kicking thalmor ass. They're doomed to fail, they don't have a complete control over their home province, high elves have the slowest life cycles and are a physically weak race. They have to deal with a southern threat every now and then... I forgot how many towers they'd done, but I don't see them winning. Next game needs a fresh villain.
By TES standards they're not that bad all the other villains are just a god and their cult.
It's the way they act though. Mankar and dagoth at least had some charm/rational to them. Thalmor talk in a fucking intonation of evil. It's like the thieves guild, where you know from the instant you meet him that Mercer frey is a bad dude and the only suprise in his betrayal is owed to how fucking contrived it is. The Thalmor aren't clever enough to prolong a war, they don't have the social graces for diplomacy so it's a miracle a mission takes place in a fucking embassy. I'm suprised they don't get assassinated with such regularity that they just don't send people and hope for the best. The Thalmor have absolutely nothing going for them, other than the empire being weak and the nords comically stupid.
By TES standards they're not that bad all the other villains are just a god and their cult.
I remember reading one of those long greentext 4chan post about why alduin is a terrible main villain Simple things, like: If we are his ultimate destruction, why does he not attack us before we get dragonrend. I wish I could find it again.

The thing is though that the nazis were charismatic and often quite clever, they needed to sell their bullshit to you, and use it for pragmatic ends (oh, and the nazis used codes for their important messages). Plus we're talking ambassadors largely, who's job is to be charming and polite. The Nazis thought they were the goodguys, the Thalmor relish in how they're dickishly evil.
