*long-ass Dawnguard review tearing it to shreds*
it's beautiful
[t]http://images.uesp.net//thumb/a/a8/MW-creature-Lame_Corprus.jpg/600px-MW-creature-Lame_Corprus.jpg[/t] This fucker is the reason anyone used restore strength in Morrowind. [editline]3rd January 2018[/editline] Would be interesting to see a monster that spits mud at you that is an actual item in your inventory that you have to drop to unencumber you, or use a fire spell to melt it off of you. Would only be good like no more than twice or else it'd just get tedious.
Why is he wearing khaki shorts? I feel like there was a really funny reason like they were reused from a scrapped game or something but I just cant remember.
Why is he wearing khaki shorts? I feel like there was a really funny reason like they were reused from a scrapped game or something but I just cant remember.
people weren't ready for monster dicks yet
people weren't ready for monster dicks yet
No I mean he and the corprus stalker are wearing modern pants and also their texture work is entirely different to the rest of the game. And I seem to remember they were from something else and I can't remember if this is actually true and I cant remember or if I've finally gone insane.
What are you wearing, corpus from red mountain
all this bashing on DG atleast you get two cool new shouts and one not that cool but what about DB? well ok you get an cooler shout, one even cooler shout, and one that kinda overlaps with an existing shout in use but kinda cool none the less
Also, Dragonborn had those super Lovecraftian themed areas that were so cool
I permanently broke Dragonborn Because I did a side quest. I'm level 40, main quest completed My last save before the side quest is level 3.
but did they have to make her so insufferable?

Why is he wearing khaki shorts? I feel like there was a really funny reason like they were reused from a scrapped game or something but I just cant remember.
They and the ash zombies are free assets from the internet iirc They were generic zombies originally
ended up making the new enemy falmer because cosmetically they're the best enemy type for this particular dungeon [t]https://i.imgur.com/1HZByNI.png[/t] I figured that since falmer are quite literally classified as animals when it comes to their soul, it would make sense for a corrupted spriggan to have some sort of influence on them since they're the only "animals" below and they're both poisoned races. Mechanically, falmer have low health pools, the spriggan have high health pools, and if the falmer takes damage it actually is transferred to the spriggan. If a spriggan dies, the falmer flee and take significantly more damage.
They and the ash zombies are free assets from the internet iirc They were generic zombies originally
citation needed I can't find anything on these guys, even google suggests that facepunch is the only site that noticed the khaki pants.
dunno where you guys are getting shorts from, they just look torn up ala The Hulk Imagine these: [t]http://lghttp.68199.nexcesscdn.net/806667C/Magento/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/800x800/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/s/p/sp-129.jpg[/t] torn at the thigh
The Oblivion PSP leak taunts me I dream about it at night sometimes
my whiterun murder spree came to suprising end after clearing the streets of everyone that wasn't essential, i went to jorrvaskr, dragonsreach and the temple of kynareth when i came out, a courier ran to me and went into bleedout the state just as the dialogue started i couldn't move, i couldn't exit the dialogue, and the dialogue wouldn't close by itself not even esc did anything, i was completely incapacitated did i just suffer divine intervention?
The Oblivion PSP leak taunts me I dream about it at night sometimes
Morriwind and oblivion minor HD touch ups ported to switch please
dunno where you guys are getting shorts from, they just look torn up ala The Hulk Imagine these: [t]http://lghttp.68199.nexcesscdn.net/806667C/Magento/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/800x800/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/s/p/sp-129.jpg[/t] torn at the thigh
they're basically skamps from this japanese resource modder pack someone provided years ago, it's how they have eyes.
With such trash taste I'm surprised you enjoy oxygen enough to breathe.
found the animal hater shes an angst-ridden edgelord with daddy issues sure but that doesn't mean she isn't the best written character in the whole series. not that she has much competition [editline]6th January 2018[/editline]
Why where you killing them in the first place
sometimes they end up in the path of a shout during combat
Dwemer ruins in Morrowind always made me uneasy. Something about how they're completely silent except for the Thief-esque electrical hum sound put me on edge. Then you run into a Dwemer robot and it turns into a hell of clanking.
With the occasional crash echoing in the distance. Yeah, those were the coolest
Morriwind and oblivion minor HD touch ups ported to switch please
Oblivion PSP was a completely different game tho. Took place in High Rock and was more focused on how the Daedric Invasion disrupted everyday life. There wasn't an open world as cities were on lockdown. I've played a little bit of the leaks and it's really fucking cool. I really wish I could take some of those ideas and try to make a TC mod that tries to bring that story and vision to the PC but alas, I have little talent for modding and a whole new game is not a simple task for one dude. I did try remaking a couple of levels from the leaks in the construction set and it worked to middling success. The levels are essentially just pre-made rooms snapped together on a grid, so I was forced to choose between emulating the general shape, or the atmosphere of the levels. The coolest levels of the game don't have similar assets as the PC version and from that I kinda gave up.

Helps that some buddies of mine have gotten into it as well. Plus, the update coming in February is basically a dream come true for vanity whores like myself. Being able to make outfits with all the crafting motifs I have? Yes please!

Seeing the comment on castles/Francis, it really puzzles me that bethesda didn't invest in some kind of mass AI. It'd the civil war and every other seige much more interesting, plus you could do some cool dungeon scenarios where you're overwhelmed by multitudes of weaker enemies instead of a sponge. But for castles. Alright, Castle dawnguard was an idiot's castle. It looked cool but it was really modeled by someone who doesn't know how castles/architecture works. Volkihar looked really cool, it isn't a very good castle but it's got less flaws. As for vanilla skyrim, basically everything's in stupid levels of disrepair except the solitude and windhelm, which both have -go through the gate- mentality. I get that cities are their own worldspace, but my god, if bethesda could work out how to do fucking ladders, the world'd be a better place.

They all feature water based defenses, built on difficult ground, high up or on hills Castle Dawnguard, Dragon's reach are also built with multi tiered defensive walls. That's very good core castle design The problem then comes with ALL the other stuff that it misses. Castles are an absolute joy for me, I could go on and on about castle posting
Shad does a good series on about half the castles/cities. Something that really bugged me about volkihar was the garden up top with it's own worldspace that wasn't finished at all and had multiple places where you could see through the wrong part of models. Dragonsreach doesn't work. The way it looks is great, but it's several tech levels behind, which wouldn't be the worst if it wasn't notable for being a place you could catch dragons, as well as all of the walls around the city being in terrible states. My favourite city is windhelm. Looks great, though they've made the tops of the walls not really functional as battlements. It's the best looking city. It bothers me that Helgen's better defended and larger than falkreath and morthal. They gave it a city wall to keep the player in, but I expected that for every settlement. If you don't have the walls to help you defend against ice warriors, trolls, vampires, werebears and angry giants, your settlement shouldn't be in skyrim. Every time the full moon rises, you should always expect a siege, because skyrim should've read like heavy metal fantasy half the time.
Is there a ESO PS4 guild I can pop into?
"Be glad you're in the city and not out in Riverwood. Those poor sods don't even have a wall."
Shad does a good series on about half the castles/cities. .
That's exactly the guy I was thinking of.
Prolly because the engine shits the bed with more than 20 enemy NPC's on screen at any given time. No point in making Mass AI when the game can barely handle a small skirmish. I'm still impressed Whiterun has 81 NPC's, because that looks like it'd be enough to completly break the game. I know they're seperated between various houses/dungeon/districts, but that still means that there can about 24 NPC's in the plaza (assuming about 30% of the town is in the plaza at, say, high noon) without the game completly breaking.
Yeah the whole war storyline was really anticlimactic with how shitty the actual invasions were handled.
BAREFOOT REALISM Whatever happened to no shoes, no service? This mod tries to add a touch of realism to this experience. Feet now get dirtier depending which surfaces the player has been walking on and can be washed by wading in a stream or using a spell. This isn't a cosmetic change, either: the player's speechcraft skill is affected by the dirtiness of their feet. There's also an option for merchants to refuse service to barefoot characters in cheap clothing Every surface has a different roughness level which influences the chances to step on something nasty and stagger, stopping the character for a bit and alerting everyone to their presence. Worse even, just walking barefoot slowly accumulates feet pain, slowing the player down. The pain heals slowly over time, but don't expect to be able to walk even from Riverwood to Whiterun without moderate pain by the end of the trip. Luckily, the character's feet will get tougher over time and at higher levels the player will be able to even sprint across gravel without letting out so much as a whimper. Feet toughness decays over time, though, so it may well be back to square one after a year of shod life. The only good side to this mod for now is that being barefoot adds 10 to the character's sneak skill. -The rest is snippets of code and how the mod works it all out- pain multiplier * (total surface roughness / (feet roughness + 1)) ^ pain exponent Stuff like that Etc
The lengths people go to in this game, I swear to God...
