I just hope they make melee less of a slog

That's pretty much my only hope, if they went to Bungie for combat for 4, maybe they'll do the same for the next ES.
Been said a thousand times but the Dark Messiah guys would be nice, I haven't played their games but the combat looks insanely fun
With Skywind+Skyblivion and Skyrim Together launching presumably (relatively) soon, and devs confirming those mods *should* be compatible, does anyone have any plans regarding who you want to try this with? I'm wanting to get a small co-op group together to play through one of those at least.

What!? I thought they were still years away

Relatively soon
Neither is close enough to even consider a release date, but DAMN are they ever close

This is essentially what I meant. These things take time but holy hell they are making wicked progress. I mainly meant that Skyrim Together is meant to release pretty damn soon and thats a pretty fucking big deal.
I'm a bit iffy about VI ever coming out after seeing the direction Fallout 4 went, unless they say they're going back a bit on what made the previous games good I might just wait for the inevitable remake of Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim on the modern engine before getting it.
Zenimax likes money. TES VI is an absolute certainty.
Dungeon bugs out and then I get to wait 10 minutes to queue again
god just fuck right off
at least I had three insanely fun dungeons after, so whatever
So I didn't discover Morrowloot until late into modding Skyrim, I decided to add it, but I CTD about a few seconds after starting a new game because of it, is there anyway for me to see what's causing it? Or at the least another similar mod?
Alright so I'm thinking of getting back into my old TESO account. Is there anything like a facepunch guild, or server? I have a level 30 templar, but all my skills are gone so now I'm so lost.

There is, but we've never really done guild things together, as far as I know. I think it was just created to pool resources in the guild bank.

Load it up in xEdit and check for error messages, perhaps?
If it's an immediate crash it could be as simple as missing master files.

More like there are only three of us.

No errors but lots of conflicts, I've never used xedit for more than seeing missing esms so I can't check to see what the conflicts are

Unless there just happen to be patches for all of the shit you have conflicting with it, either scrap Morrowloot or find a modding guide based around it. Resolving conflicts isn't the worst thing in the world, but trying to patch a big overhaul like Morrowloot with an existing modlist would be less of a learning curve and more of a cliff.

Yeah that's basically what I did, I like the idea of static places items and the unleveled areas that isn't Req levels of hard so I'll just start over and install the essentials before I dick around with any other mods

Did you use loot to organize and check your modlist? Do you have TESedit as well? These are essential to get mods such as morrowloot to work with other things since it changes so much it could conflict.

Req isn't hard at all, as long as you have AP. Once you get AP anything, Req is easier than vanilla due to weapon balance and ai issues. Generally speaking, any mod that both modifies level lists AND creates many new entries should be used on its own.

I've been using TES5Edit to see where the conflicts happen and pretty much all of the actual conflicts are worldspace ones. I use MO so it has loot with it, I should use it more.

I'll take your word for it, I was originally gonna try out Req this time around but I've always been pretty intimidated from hearing how much it changes, especially since there's some mods that I enjoy on its own that I don't think will work with Req like some armor and gameplay mods like Wildcat and TK Dodge.
Is it weird that I want to see DOOM but with a TES skin slapped to it?

I know of it. Hexen too. But I was just thinking a linear, ultra violent action TES game where you fight cultists and then either undead or daedra as a superfast dude with either weapons or magic, would be pretty damn cool.
Also, maybe a high level warrior should feel more like doomguy. It's fantasy.

...Battlespire?
Sounds like GMOTA.
Sounds like GMOTA.
GMOTA is more like a first-person beat-em-up like Golden Axe.

Might and Magic 6/7 is more or less as close as it gets. It's practically Doomerfall.
i haven't modded skyrim in a while, are neck seams still awful and hard to manage? do ENBs affect them at all? it always seems like after a while everyone has awful neck seams no matter how much time i spend making sure everything is neat and matched

There's a neck seam texture blender thing that automatically makes blended textures you make neck seams look more seamless.
