I don't know what you're talking about. The game runs at a constant 60+ FPS for me on Very High settings. Not to mention the driving feels much better, albeit motorcycles still feel like ass, and the AI also seems to be much more aware than than the closed beta. The only thing that irks me is this off stutter in animations of your character when you're moving around which makes it feel janky but it's a lot better than the closed beta that's for damn sure.
My performance hasn't changed a bit. If not for the improved driving, I would have sworn on my life it was the same build

Need to try it in MP though.

The random yelling at each other could use doing away with when it shouldn't be happening in the first place for sure. Like I was stealthing into an outpost with a group and our dude just started yelling at another one in the middle of the outpost while there were still enemies there and nobody had been spotted yet. I'd probably pay $20-30 for this, not much more tbh. At least not in the state that I assume it's projected to be in which is the way it is now but spread out over a lot larger of a map.
This open beta runs better for me. I was getting 30-40 fps on medium in the closed beta and am now getting 50-56 fps on high Driving feels better, though helicopter controls still weird ESPECIALLY with mouse controls turned on
I get around 50 FPS, which would be tolerable if it wasn't for the insane stuttering. Also the driving is horrendous.
Also the driving is horrendous.
vehicle camera is genuinely nauseating
I'm having pretty good luck with the game. Stable framerate on High (in the 40's, but that's tolerable enough for me), vehicles handle well enough, and the gameplay is pretty much what I expected. I still hesitate to call it a day-one buy right now, but it's better than what I had been previously led to believe.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/z4xotih.jpg[/t] what a great videogame.
I'd still advise anyone on the fence on the game to try the beta out if possible; I haven't run into a single issue everyone here has had with it (barring that auto-center vehicle camera, that bugs me.) Experiences seem to vary.
Coming from the closed beta it seems to run slightly better and vehicle/helicopter handling feels tweaked. The difficulty sliders actually work. Playing on the hardest difficulty with markers turned off in the second province is hard as shit. Actually had to restart a mission a couple times. Unfortunately something I'm experiencing which I didn't before is annoying freezes that last 3-5 seconds every once in awhile and I can't figure out what is causing it but it sure is annoying.

I've generally been having a pretty good time with the game(got about what I expected out of it), but I've been playing on PS4. Is it just the usual Ubisoft sucking at PC ports or am I just really lucky?
They fixed the problem I was having in the closed beta where I couldn't gather intel out in the world. Also in the last mission I drove an APC into the tunnel and my character said "Smells like a slaughterhouse in here." I'm sure it did by the time I squeezed my way to the end.
team AI seriously needs to be way less accurate, holy jesus. i get it's a co-op game, but when you play solo the game gets super nerfed. as soon as i could i went to the new area and found a black hawk. 10 minutes later i've already liberated the two giant-ass compounds with it just by flying around because your AI team mates just kill everything with the miniguns without remorse because they have laser pointer accuracy the game does run a lot better on my machine but it's still one of the most boring, empty games i've ever played in my life. i won't pick this up until it's 5 bucks on a christmas sale a few years from now when i'm absolutely bored of all of the other shit that gets pumped out en-masse a few years from now. maybe it'll be worth more by then when games like this become the norm
yeah im getting those same freezes
I thought it was my computer screwing up or that my hardware was outdated. I managed to get rid of it by updating to the latest nvidia game ready driver. The game still uses 100% of my OC'd 2500K CPU and something feels off with the input, but it's playable.
wow this game's dialogue is terrible HE'S GOT BRASS BALLS I'LL TELL YA THAT
This game is quite fun. I love the customization! I love that they included a lot of 5.11 gear in the game for the extra operator-yness
Well, I tried the game last evening The driving really is terrible, and the AI retarded. The only really fun way to play is in coop. If the game is like this at launch, I'll pass I think.
I still completely cannot understand the issues everyone's having with the driving. Playing on PC, the driving is completely fine and I have zero problems with it, the car always goes where I want it to go, I haven't lost control or spun out or anything with any of the cars even once.
My only issue with the driving is the camera jitter that happens for whatever reason when you turn, they fixed most of it from the CB but some is still there.
I played for a bit on xbone last night It does feel kinda janky. I wouldn't say the cars handle badly for what it is but they do appear to have weird movements at times, you can see it if you stop and back up a little bit. The body seems to snap up and down. The audio is a bit weird as well, enemy gunfire seems really quiet, an enemy pumping rounds from a few yards is quieter than reloading my own gun
My first impression from the beta is that it has some neat features (like the character customization is really good, it looks and sound fantastic) but otherwise it's as generic ubisoft game as it gets. It might be more fun in coop but what game isn't. Voice acting is mixed to bad, why make your customizable protagonist a boring blank slate that doesn't say anything of interest when he could just be silent The difficulty is pathetic, on extreme you can just drive through an enemy base and let your AI teammates clear out the enemies while you drive around. Kind of disappointed, guess I'm waiting for a sale
The one things that annoys me the most is how unstoppable you are while in a vehicle. You can drive off cliffs and mountains, through jungles and into trees without giving a single shit, even while on a bike. You literally never fall off. I got into an army jeep and felt like I had a lot more control and better traction. It could just be that the random civvie cars suck.
God dammit, if there's a way to keep the game from constantly switching which shoulder the camera hangs over whenever I so much as brush a doorway the wrong way, I'm all ears. It's so disorienting.
I kinda wish there was a lone wolf option, I know Ghost Recon is more about squad based tactics but I think it'd be a fun option.

I just got done playing for five hours with a friend clearing the first province and making progress in the second one. The difficulty is much more noticeable. We are playing on the highest setting, which no longer puts enemy auras on the map.
