Balaclavas confirmed @5:26
I want woodland BDUs and/or RAID variations of them though
Closed beta confirmed for 3rd Feb. Preloading beginning on the 1st Feb. Yeeeee
I wonder when they're going to start sending the invites to it. Man, I'd better fucking get one, Ubisoft has already sent me closed beta invites for games I didn't sign up for and didn't care about, it'd be really annoying if they didn't send me one for a game I specifically did sign up for.

Damn, didn't expect it to be THAT extensive. I love it
Spotted a polo shirt. Looks like I know who my Ghost is going to be.
Seems like beta keys might be going out? And they seem like they might be multi use somehow?
guaranteed beta access for buying the most expensive versions, nice.

No, the keys that went out weren't sign up keys yet. Those come next week. The keys are multi-use that went out early. Also, if you get a key, you can invite 3 friends through your Uplay friends list.

Well they were still keys that guaranteed you access to the beta so whatever.

Gameplay were the guy trys a stealthy approach on the hardest difficulty.
No commentary in this version either.
I really hope they decreased the difficulty for the PR event, when he walks in front of that guy playing football and he doesn't even spot him, that was p bad.
The football part seems to be a one off, maybe having to do with whatever script requires him to be doing that. IN other videos I've seen your character will get spotted from a fairly long range, especially from snipers who will spot you from across an entire camp.
Not really a fan of the pure white Humvees with Miniguns. Just seems so out of place.

Yeah, and the pure white helicopters.
they look almost untextured.
Maybe they're supposed to be stolen/abandoned and acquired UN Humvee's

Maybe there was a UN presence before everything got out of control and they were run off in a hurry, leaving a lot of equipment behind and now it's in the hands of the cartels. Who knows, One thing Ubisoft is pretty good at is Background/Lore and building a setting
I really hope that this game doesnt have the same issue The Division had for me where it would randomly crash after playing for more than an hour and would require a reboot to relaunch the game. It looks really neat and I've been wanting an open world military shooter like this for a while. Player customization looks pretty neat too.
I got Ghost Recon: Future soldier for free ages ago, so I downloaded it and gave it a shot.
Oh my god the PC port is so bad.
It letterboxes anything that isn't 16:9, crashes almost every mission, the anti-aliasing just makes the screen blurry, you can't change settings while in a mission so it took me ages to get my sensitivity right.
Its absolute trash garbage.

I was there at launch day, If you think that's bad, the 1.0 version was much worse. Crashes happened every 4 mp matches or so, and the game ran like absolute crap (still isn't perfect), especially on grass heavy missions.

I got Future Soldier on the 360 when it came out and saw tons of people calling it a garbage game and attacking Ubisoft over it. I thought people were just being salty because it wasn't the incredibly slow paced style of Advanced Warfighter. Then I played the PC port last year and I was blown away with how terrible it is.
People say Dark Souls has a bad PC port. At least the Dark Souls port is just the console version with higher resolutions. Future soldier is unbelievably bad, it actually crashed every time I quit the game.
I started replaying Future soldier today and getting Co op to work isn't worth the effort. If you want a fix for the crashes you need to set yourself into an offline state and that should stop the crashing. That has to through Uplays launcher
GRFS was fun while the incredibly small community lasted, but looking back at the game, no wonder the community was small, they tried to make a niche franchise be a bit more popular by making the gameplay basically every TPS ever but with cool gadgets and it ended up rather mediocre, and I fear that Wildlands will suffer similarly by having the only gameplay mechanic that stands out being the open-world.

It looks a bit like MGSV but coop and more grounded in reality, and that's all I really want from it. That sounds like exactly the kind of shit I'd love to play with my friends.
That and the character customization is very solid.
I hope this game doesn't end up sucking shit.

10:50 is even worse.
The guy looks at the players head and gun peeking out lol
Did anyone get beta keys yet? I am trying to figure out if I was unlucky or if they just haven't bothered sending them yet.
beta codes should be coming out about this time now
Ubi pls
beta codes should be coming out about this time now
Shit, I haven't gotten an email. Guess I'm an unlucky one.
Ah well, my pc right now is pretty low end anyways. Luckily I am upgrading my pc to high spec when income tax rolls around :v:
Nah, apparently they haven't gone out yet. Ubi is dragging

Gas Masks! Fuck yeah!
I just got my beta key. You can invite 3 friends similar to the For Honour beta.
