I hope so, I assume most people have figured out the fuck up with the vehicles. If you shoot the windows enough the engine starts smoking. All vehicle damage no matter where will do this. Shoot the tires enough the car will blow up.
Just lazy.
Any of you beautiful people have a PC invite?
Cleared the province with a mix of two player, three player, and solo. Other than the fact that it runs like absolute shit it's fun. Very easy though. Having a squad or human partners feels like overkill, especially since your squad is invincible. The AI is very hit or miss. Sometimes they detect me from a long ways off and try and flank me and other times they are completely oblivious to their buddies deaths. Also as far as I can tell a silencer is completely unnecessary to actually "stealth" a base. No matter how many people you kill they will just stay in the alert phase and you can continue popping them one by one.
I set my bar so low and yet I'm so underwhelmed :(
I'm still on the fence about the game as a whole but the customization is pretty great. They added just enough that it'd be very hard for two random people to look completely alike.
I also the small little details like how you can apply skins to guns and repaint certain parts of the gun in different colors. I also like how guns develop wear and tear too, but they allow you to restore the finish if you don't want to keep its battle scars.

ironically my character looks identical except she's blond and I use the business casual shirt, same pattern. and OD green pants. but otherwise it's p much the same, tattoos and all

the enemy AI runs for cover but because they're essentially one-hit-kills, firefights last like 3 seconds and you are never in any danger regardless of how many baddies the game throws at you too. one player can easily wipe out the entire cartel... let alone 3. the hardest difficulty is the only way to play the game to get any kind of enjoyment out of it but even then at that difficulty it still feels like you're just playing third person far cry

also this game is going to make me seem like a douche at work because i wear nothing but 5.11 hats. have been for years

Imagine being me who set it super high

I really, really thought this was going to be the next big game I bought and got to enjoy with my friends

Where?
Where?
Sounds like bullshit tbh, why are we beta testing a very old and out-dated build? So we can tell them about a million broken things they've already fixed? Seems unlikely.

It can go either way, to be honest. I've definitely played betas where they did for whatever reason use old builds and it was a bad call, but I've also played ones where people use the "but it's a beta" defense and nothing gets fixed. It's a crapshoot every time and caution is probably the best approach.
i too would appreciate a code
preferably two for my bromigo
game honestly felt mediocre
i don't think it's worth $60
Yeah, that was actually a really fun night of co-op, but I think I'll wait till later in the year to pick it up. Let them patch some things up and possibly go on sale.
Anyone here been to dogtown yet? Place is filled with rare doggers.
Speaking of animals so far I've encountered birds, dogs, hens, pigs and cows.
it's just another overhyped ubisoft bargain bin game like watch_dogs 1 and the last ghost recon game. and far cry 4 and far cry primal.
it'll be 20 bucks goty as soon as the last of the dlc comes out. it's probably wiser to wait for that at the end of this year/the beginning of next year than to buy it full price. it's definitely one of those games where the repetition sets in super quick and you realize you're doing the same thing over and over again
the game is great but the open world aspect really drives away a lot of the charm for sure. although i love the nod to car brands. gotta love the classic caddy deville and the revisioned cts

We were laughing so hard at that. So many dogs. Also, coming across a pack of llamas is pretty awesome too.
If they fix the performance, it'll be a pretty good Co-op game. It took about 2-4 hours to do everything in this zone, and it's supposedly 1 of 21 zones.
Dead bodies need to stay longer so that wandering patrols may find them. They disappear so quick. I'm not even sure the AI can detect dead bodies unless they see them or hear them die.
The sound needs a total damn overhaul, no joke
Performance is so bad the game should be delayed
We should get what we see. Peeking over cover or around cover and shooting only for the bullet to hit the cover is really annoying. I'd get it if this had PvP to prevent 'shooting through walls while keeping 90% behind cover', but it's a co-op game
I want Team markers while NOT having enemy markers. Thanks
Also I want an M82A1. How are you going to have a special forces game and not include the king
a Beowulf ar15 would also suffice so you can one-shot-stop vehicles. also the sheer sight of an AR platform with a giant brick compensator on the end would stop people dead in their tracks
that being said, i totally agree about the sound and cover system. the dynamic cover is great but if you fire over the shoulder your bullets come out of the gun AKA it hits everywhere except where you want it to. max payne definitely did it the best where the bullets go straight out of your crosshair. guess the fix to that is to just use the sights on the weapon rather than shoot over the shoulder, but the transition is pretty weird
movement is stupidly clunky. you have to crank your mouse sensitivity up to obscene levels just to turn, and even on a controller it feels like you're playing arma more than you are a third person shooter
in terms of performance though, the only thing i did to improve mine was drop the texture resolution down to medium. the game still looks really good in motion but there's only a few things that stand out in terms of awful quality--mostly furniture and map models, and most of the time you hardly notice it when you have the sharpness filter cranked up
it's weird that the game only uses around 2-3 gigs of vram and yet a super computer can barely run it so there's definitely bottlenecking issues somewhere that need sorted out for sure
I will go against the tide for once. The game runs like putrid shit but i like it. In fact i might even take it with a friend.
My friend created Big Boss and me and my other friend were generic specops dudes.
Had a lot of fun with "COME BACK SAFE BOSS" and such.

Game is pretty dull on it's own but in cooperative it's great.
Anyone got a PC code I can use? The pcgaymer raffle didn't work for me and I never received mine
Where do you go to see the extra codes you get? I'll give mine out if I can get them.

go to invite friends and there you can send invites
Can I have one? :>
I can't find anywhere to access the codes. The one thing which directs me to the codes leads to an infinite loop where it asks me to log in but takes me directly back to the log in page.

The thing is it's NEVER taking me past the login page. I've been trying since Sokrates posted the link.

what
I decided to go to the Ubisoft forums to see if there was anyone else having my problem. I didn't find any threads on that, but oh my god people are so fucking stupid. People were honestly arguing over the cover system, with one guy saying the current system is great and chastising another for suggesting that The Division has a better system, and asked Ubisoft to not "dumb it down". It's a fucking cover system, how can you be elitist over how your character hides behind a wall?
