Wouldn't it be neat if Doomfist and the other hero got released at the same time? I know my mind would be blown.

Gotta love Overwatch teasing. Jeff claims the next hero isn't Doomfist. Does nothing but hint at Doomfist.

Here's what I think is going to happen Doomfist steals the gauntlet and goes rampaging around Numbani/some nearby zone, killing bots and stuff. Efi deploys her SUPER DUPER SECRET OMEGA TANK BOT which comes in and, because of her innate powers of being a main character added to the Overwatch roster, the tank bot fucks Doomfist up in like 5 seconds. So he goes and scurries off to fight another day and then he's added to the roster later for whatever reason, probably as another Talon agent like Widow/Reaper/Sombra or an independent force. If it's an animated sequence in anyway then there is a 100% chance that Doomfist does some hyper punch on the bot at some point to absolutely no effect since her tank bot is just that cool. Frankly Blizzard's writing is really obvious so I actually am anticipating this happening almost step for step.

Double hero release? :)

So Jeff was just pulling our leg and the next hero will be Doomfist? Or someone who really wanted to steal the gauntlet and can smash giant holes in the wall My guess is it's Doomfist's evil twin brother, BoomKnuckles

I think this is what Jeff meant when he said 24 won't be who we expect now. Cause everyone expects this to be Doomfist. [editline]24th February 2017[/editline] I strongly believe that this is related to the gauntlet, not Doomfist himself yet.

I'm gonna bet Jeff was being extremely cheeky and 24 will be an Efi related hero, while 25 will be Doomfist, but they'll be released together.

What if Doomfist steals the old Doomfist while using his personal Doomfist with the help of Talon, and then promptly tells them to buzz off and keeps it for himself. Talon loses again

What if the next hero is just some random fuck who stole the Doomfist Gauntlet and accidentally beat up everything in sight in a series of slapstick based Three Stooges-esque events.

I'm pretty sure they said they'd never release more than 1 hero at a time for balancing reasons, so I wouldn't hype myself up for a double hero release.

I can only hope custom games get into the main game before they test a new hero. I don't want to wait forever for it, and there's nothing to do right now in Overwatch.

The reason it seems like there is nothing to do is that, on purpose or not, they made the game to where it's just boring to play when there isn't an event going on or comp is off season. Loot boxes were cool and all. When we all first started the game and we didn't have shit unlocked. At this point, most of us have all the non-event items we want. So, the only time getting loot boxes is fun is when there is an event going on. They need to balance out adding event items with adding non-event items so there is still stuff to unlock outside of an event. And comp players. When comp is off season there is hardly anything that reaches the same competitiveness. In quick play no one acts seriously enough and no point even bothering inside Arcade unless it's 1v1 and 3v3.

Every "Comp" match I play now is almost 80% people tossing the game. To be honest, this stuff, even in off-season comp, should be a temporarily bannable offense. It totally ruins the game for me. I'm not looking for E-Sports level stuff here, I just want to actually play the game and at least try to do well, and currently there's no way you can make sure you'll be put in a team that will at least [I]try[/I].
