Everyone knows if you're only running a single healer on the team, it should be Mercy. She has the best group healing in the game after all.

Most of the time when I play Mercy I lose. Not because I am getting targeted out and killed, its because people see you playing as Mercy and think they are invincible so they go waaay out of position/die further apart.

Enemy Genjis never use their deflect if they catch you solo and its fairly easy to pop them with the pistol. Maximum tears
