So you got Torb and Mei looking right at the viewers but then you've got Lucio staring of into the distance with a look in his face like he doesn't want to be here and you got Tracer staring at the ceiling like shes spotted a big ass spider.

Lucio is looking at your middle area, not really somewhere random like you picture

I gotta be honest when I first saw that chinese new year skin I thought it was actually D'va.
but then again I'm not used to seeing a skin for Mei where 90% of her body isn't covered by a thick big ass coat.

Mercy doesn't have an E ability, she's so good now that she'd simply be broken with another ability. Good thing there aren't any heroes that are considered to be must picks regardless of team composition

as a mercy main who picked up ana after she became king healer, mercy is effectively in the dumpster (and i fucking hate it)
not even talking about just comp, shes outdone even in QP standards

I wouldn't mind all heroes having a secondary ult but that's personal.
I'm hovering around the 2500 sr mark and honestly I don't mind mercy considering half my games end up with no healers.

And I honestly disagree. A good, strategic res can be the difference between a botched game and a victory. My usual strategy is to never be conservative with the abilities and [I]always [/I]use damage boost on DPS heroes when everyone else is healed - I fly to people who take even the slightest bit of damage, prioritize squishy heroes - even when tanks are mid or low health since most of them have their own defenses anyway (then fly back once squishes are back up).
Stay in motion and you'll be hard to hit [I]and [/I]a distraction to the enemy team, which makes them vulnerable for your own teammates. Stay behind cover in tight spaces since the tether can go around corners. Paired with Phara I'm basically indestructable and can easily reach ground-heroes for more effective healing and boosts (as long as I'm not in a cooldown for Guardian Angel and on the ground myself). I also never use a res unless there's 2+ people available or it's on Overtime.
I outheal literally everyone else both in comp and QP, save for this one friend of mine who sometimes beats me marginally as Lucio once in a while.
And so

i literally do all of that and i still end up doing a better support job as ana, she just has way more healing potential and a better kit, as well as an ult that is way easier to get off/actually be useful. and im definitely not a bad mercy, she has 116 hours of playtime out of my ~200 hours and im regularly gold healing on my team when i play her. however, i win way more often when i play ana rather than mercy, and usually get more healing done as well (and able to stay alive more often since ana can actually be alive way more)
im still not even sure how the same people that think mercys rez was annoying before nerf havent bitched and moaned the same amount about ana meta, at least when mercy is healing people you still have a CHANCE of killing them. with ana theyre basically invulnerable (and the rez meta didnt have the chance to go on as long as anas. this is what, 4 or 5 months now? i feel like mercys was 2 or 3 at most) and ana has burst healing that you cant do anything to prevent, while mercy has (albeit very fast health regen) a health regen that you can easily stop by just landing a single shot on her. and they sure werent afraid to nerf mercy, yet theyre being a huge pussy about nerfing ana (i dont want it to be into uselessness, but her normal HP/s without grenade is even still insanely better than mercys. healing is all mercy can do, she should be the absolute best as single target healing.
I keep saying this, 30% healing buff on allies and 30% healing reduction on the biotic grenade. Then we can call the tank meta dead.

It takes Mercy a full second to heal 60 health
If ana lands a dart, thats 75 health. Instant healing is a lot more useful than healing over time, of course Ana's numbers just beat out mercys in every scenario I can think of.

Ana's ult also doesn't rely on her team to lose teamfights when Ana's ult can actually help win teamfights to begin with

Even then it's better to have a lucio to do aoe heal/speed while ana does the single target healing.
All the other supports have some form of utility to help the team but Mercy only does healing who is really defenseless against flankers
