For me it just seems to be an indicator of the likelihood i'll be insulted by them for being crap at the game. A wonderful way to spend a match I waited more than three minutes to connect to :v:
No shit I ain't as good at the game as you are, being as everyone else in the match was 50+ levels higher than me.
As I play Pharah more, my dislike for Ana has grown to a horrible seething hatred.
Because, if anyone is supposed to be able to melt me in 2 seconds from across the map, it shouldn't be the fucking healer.
Got to 4 points away from master yesterday.... then I lost 3 games in a row because people didn't talk, blamed other people, and legitimately couldn't speak English (Or play the game, why are you in diamond). And since I was playing awith a friend of mine who plays a wickedly good Pharah the team keeps outing him for the reason we're losing which is 100% not true.
I swear the fucking game does that on purpose.

I think she was broken because nothing dies under ana's healing.
Which I still think is mostly true even in PTR.

I still don't get how D.va is supposed to [I]protect an ulting genji[/I]. Like genji ulting needs to be moving as fast as possible, right up in enemy's faces killing them asap. D.va can't jet around while blocking damage, and her base movement speed isn't anywhere near fast enough to keep up. It's even worse with junkrat's tire.

Since I collected a majority of the skins I want (for now) I've stayed far away from there. Unless you play giving zero fucks, it's really hard not to get salty there.
Blizzard are just too fascinated with "cool sniper grandma" to give her the heavier nerfs she deserves. Lets enjoy our 2+ more months of tank meta with an even more dominant Soldier in addition. :)

I'm fucking sick of seeing Soldier 76.
I used to play him a lot, then he got buffed and [B]fucking everyone[/B] started playing him, so I can't bring myself to enjoy him anymore. Plus he's too goddamn easy to play. Is that petty? Probably, but I don't care.
Same with D.Va. I'm sick of seeing D.Va everywhere.

Blizzard are dumb when it comes to balance, the only buff people wanted for Soldier were changes to his spread; yet Blizzard buffed his damage and now he does the most overall for the least effort compared to other dps heroes.

I think they're trying to balance from both sides.
They're trying to make the game as casual friendly as possible while retaining "esport" status.

Matrix isn't even reliable enough to function as a team shield, so implying it has any application as one is what pissed a lot of people off.
Any team member inside defense matrix is still vulnerable to damage from directly across where D.Va can see, Hooks and lasers flat out ignoring it entirely.
Not to mention that Zarya does this role they listed way better.

Soloqueued up to 4240, less than 50 away from Top 500. Then a loss. And another loss. And another. And another. Sitting at 3956 right now.
It really bugs me how even at GM how many people are either A) smurfing and don't care about going fulltime widow even when they aren't good at it, or B) complete pushovers who pussy out of every single push you call because they just aren't paying attention.
I understand smurfing to soloqueue and play things you aren't used to, but what kind of a person with zero empathy uses it as an opportunity to leave voicechat, stay dead silent, and throw the entire match, and even worse leave the game blaming their "shitty team" for not being able to play around them when they go hanzo despite the team not having a zarya and never trying to combo their ults with anybody? It's mind boggling. I've met smurfs who play unconventional picks, but actually talk to the team and create communication that leads to a good win. But 106% of the time a smurf doesn't join voicechat: we lose.
There's also a harrowing amount of people who will jump at the absolute first chance to blame someone. Lucios who will stop to type a two page essay midgame about how they have gold elims. People who will completely shit on the tanks after their shield is outdamaged. Conversely, There's so many people who refuse to admit they aren't doing well and will insist they keep playing their DPS or tank of choice despite clearly not being prepared for it. I don't get why it's so hard to just compromise, hold insults for the end of the game, and maintain a level of decency during a bad game. It's just a domino effect of someones pissy attitude making everybody else play worse.

whats up with koreans and instalocking widowmaker in both quickplay and competitive
I find just the existence of a Widowmaker on the server makes the game objectively less fun, regardless of which team they're on.
If their on my team we're basically at a 5v6 having a team member that gets bronze damage and 3 kills with an ult that almost never helps. If they're on the other team they make sure I'm dead the second Rein's shield goes down and basically force me to play Winston to get them off their perch.
I might think Ana is bullshit or detest facing a Genji, but Widow is the one character I honestly think whose complete removal from the game would improve the overall experience.
