Why can Hanzo shoot his Scatter Arrow at your feet and take off 500 hp at once...
I think when a skill's RNG is so volatile that a skill can either barely do anything or obliterate a team, it shouldn't be in the game.
They should make Rein less mandatory
They should do that by making another actual tank with reliable damage blocking. Just like with Lucio and speed boost, Rein is the only character in the game that can actually block stuff.
Both of them need something to compete with them. I think it would be interesting to see a character that can give strong, single target speed boosts and something that Paladins did recently with their new character: A tank that can steal shield from other tanks and put it on himself, kind of like a super overheal.

Isn't saying scatter arrow can 'obliterate a team' a little melodramatic?
I think it needs a slight damage nerf and a rework on how the projectiles travel to reward the crazy skill shots the game wants you to make.

I dont think that's the solution though, because then you run both Reins and your team is immune to everything.
Never going to happen because Overwatch tries to be much tamer in terms of morbidity than TF2, but imagine if Hanzo had a skewering attack similar to the Huntsman kill taunt as an E special to go alongside his mobility options and complement how Genji has a melee special command as well. (Obviously would not be a OHKO to anything with good amounts of health but would be fairly potent to squishies and temporarily "stunlock" larger foes until you pull the arrow out such that for a second neither you nor them can do anything)
I don't think Reinhardt is overpowered in any real way, his oneshot mechanic actually has a huge drawback unlike some other class I riff on.
But I think other than making another reinhardt esque hero, the best thing they could do for now is change Earth Shatter into something countered best by another hero and not himself.
Rein's very balanced as far as getting kills goes, the problem is that with Overwatch's choke-heavy maps he is absolutely mandatory on many maps, which locks down team comps a bit.

That's why I think a shield sapping character like Torvald in Paladins would be good since Rein is the one that would be the most effected by him. He would have a natural counter character that is more than "damage the barrier a lot" and runs the risk of feeding his barrier to the barrier sapper, making them stronger.
Obviously you would have to make this new character weak to another character (Like make it so they can't sap from Zarya, making her more favorable in that matchup than Rein.) that way they don't make Rein 100% irrelevant.
What if Sombra could
hack through barriers.
Dear god, that would make her op in the hands of someone like me. Rein is already easy enough to kill as long as no one notices me.
The enemy behind the barriers would just shoot her and cancel the hack
Not unless you're careful and are behind shields yourself.

Also have a highlight.
I think it would encourage running Zarya or Defense Matrix on top of Sombra in order to make Reinhardt less of a hassle.
Still sick of being on a high surface and still being affecting by reins ultimate
That and jumping onto the ultimate a split second after it actually hit the ground and still getting knocked down.

Is there any way to see how much MMR I've lost in previous matches?
Is there any way to see how much MMR I've lost in previous matches?
That's too advanced for Blizzard. ( No there isn't as far as I know )
Whelp just lost a rated match because 3 of us were on the point but the game decided to call it anyways in the other teams favor. Thanks Blizzard.
I still want a paladin healer/tank hybrid.
I still want a paladin healer/tank hybrid.
Tanks that can give others healing would be broken as fuck. Healers are meant to be squishy so they can be dealt with easily.

Lets be honest here. We all want to see a hero that heals people by punching them in the face.

Hasn't the tank meta gone far enough.

We've got a heal sniper rifle, the sky's the limit. Why not a healing shotgun? A healing rocket launcher? A healing minigun? A healing flamethrower?

Killing Floor/Overwatch Crossover when?
We've got a heal sniper rifle, the sky's the limit. Why not a healing shotgun? A healing rocket launcher? A healing minigun? A healing flamethrower?
Healing flamethrower would just be ana vials times a million

healing shotgun and rocket reminds me of evolve.
Should I get the Chinese New Year Roadhog or D.va?
I have enough credits for one, and Kaplain is giving me straight dupe crates

So Loadout?
So Loadout?
I just loved the concept of Loadout. It's a shame that the game got neglected and died.

That game is a good example of how poor business choices can totally fuck up everything.
Loadout's shitty business decision to neglect the PC version and put all the effort into the PS4 version just reminds me of SMNC.
I hope Blizzard never fucks up in a similar manner.
