I'd like to win a match of CTF, I really would, I'd love to get that third win for my loot crate! But gee golly gosh, I just need to be stuck with brainless retarded cunt stains that just feel the fucking obsession of playing widowmaker, ana, and fucking hanzo, all on the same team, at the same time, and have the fucking gall, FUCKING GALL, to bitch about losing. I have played.....25 matches since dinner. That was at 7:30pm. It's nearly 3:30am now. Haven't fucking won once. Why is Blizzard punishing me with retards? One game, widowmaker, just stared out a window the entire time. Another game, a Genji just ran into a corner for the entire match....And so on and so forth. I just.....I want to take a pickaxe to these fucking pricks temples for wasting my god damn time. I'm not there to coddle you, I'm not there to carry you, I am not there to wipe your ass and tell you you're a fucking special snowflake. I just want to fucking play and win every once in a while. I don't care how many dick scabs you got from jerking it to your overwatch waifu and feel that you should only play that character, you do what the fucking team needs. Again, sorry to rant, but jesus christ!

Sometimes you just gotta take a step back and take a break from a game, especially if you're on a losing streak.
I'm a bit last to the Bastion change news for the PTR, but man I can't wait for this. Bastion was the one character I really wanted to play in OW, but he really didn't work to well against people that knew what they were doing, but hopefully this will turn things around and I'll finally be able to play as him with out getting yelled at.
Mark my words: they are changing Bastion to counter the three tanks meta and they'll go overboard with their idea once again, making Bastion too powerful against tanks and making him the target of a future major nerf.
Just you wait. I think I got down the details about how this particular team of developers think at this point
Are Blizz considered a crap quality company usually? OW is my first real game from them and love it but don't know much about their past to be honest.
Blizzard has became one of the most well known brands in Video Gaming. Their name is notorious with quality these days. If something is in bad quality they intend to fix it as seen with Diablo 3's poor launch and Money Auction House and then renovating and removing it all together and then make people come back with more interest as the new Reaper of Souls expansion came out.
Their only failures are in the Esports department and even then they are such a loveable company because they still keep investing into every game which has an eSports scene even if some of their titles aren't as popular as they would like them to be.
Overwatch is part of a whole range of products by Blizzard that are quality products and if they aren't, they get polished into being quality as too much is at stake for Blizzard to not showcase that they are a quality company.
Arcade mode when you can earn lootboxes, becomes the most obnoxious experience ever.
Not every mode becomes playable but apparently it becomes all chill AFTER you're done with the 9 wins. All the comps i've seen are straight up irritating.

That's... one way to look at it.
I'd say Blizzard is a pretty middle of the road company, and their business practices are often times pretty questionable.

Needing to win in a section meant for pure fun makes playing the mode tedious and to competitive till after winning the 3rd lootbox. I wonder how things would go if they changed it to where you just need to complete arcade matches to get the lootboxes.
How about just not attaching lootboxes to the arcade.
If you want to make a mechanic for getting more lootboxes besides levelling up, how about just giving them for winning anything. Or better yet, for playing anything.

This is a common mechanic in Blizzard game. Adding a weekly 3 lootboxes through Arcades leads to people playing it during the reset days.
It's a nice way to get people interested in Arcades. Most people need a carrot to get interested in something different from the base game or the game itself.

Hearthstone is a mess, I agree with. I don't see any issues with the way Blizzard has conducted itself with Overwatch. Yes, It's the same garbage balancing philosophy they had in WoW where someone is overpowered, nerfed to hell any then everyone else barely gets touched or they get buffs for no good reasons.
I'm kind of looking forward to see D.va getting buffed again and the Bastion buffs too.
The microtransactions in Overwatch is ingenious Holiday events are always a nice way to make people play the game more and also make them pay more. Timed events add desperation and it's a nice way businesswise to force customers hand in purchasing a chance of getting what they want.
Seeing Bastion's little gun sight wobble always makes me smile

All that adding this "carrot" does is make people play arcade for the lootboxes instead of because they like it. Not only is that not fun for them, it ruins the fun for the people who actually want to play arcade.
If it's fun, people will play it. Don't do all this manipulative shit to get people to play it.

Unless they are working at Team 5, the Hearthstone one. There Blizzard is a bunch of drooling retards when it comes to game design, balance philosophy and quality.
honestly they should just remove the arcade and give me a lootbox upon launching the game, give me a lootbox when ragequitting and they should give me a lootbox whenever i get an assist or die in-game.
thats the only fair system.
Just unlock everything for everyone.
Or they could just bring back 1v1.
1v1 is still random heroes so it doesn't solve.
By the time i'm trying to get 9 wins, i level up three times, wow nice work Blizzard.

A buffed Bastion runs a fine line between being what the meta needs and being the cancer that ruins the new meta.
It wouldn't be out of line.
Reminder we haven't actually had a "good" Overwatch meta since early launch.

Disagree x1
I'm still of the belief that Sunyatta is the best skin in the game.
Zenyatta has no good skins

are you talking about double soldier double Zarya Mercy Lucio

Uh excuse me
What other skin lets you make DEEZ NUTS jokes every time you join a game?
I personally use Sunyatta because I really want to dig the whole "machine god" esthetic
are you talking about double soldier double Zarya Mercy Lucio
Probably talking 1 hero limit comps.
Early had more variety and if i'm not mistaken the 2\2\2 wasn't even bad. Still it relied on Mercy's Q which was meh but we had Pharah, less Roadhog, S76 accuracy, Dva too rare, Zen too fragile and so on.
I might be mistaken since it was more memorable the other no limit hero\2 limit hero "pro" comp
i always like seeing unrelated people have similar names. while going through the joy that is ctf today i saw two ungrouped people named "BeanMilk" and "BeanFlick". i was later informed that this momentous event occurred because you "gotta flick the bean to get the milk".
i don't like any of zenyatta's legendaries because he's already shaped like a friend and all the legendaries change his face too much
Zenyatta has no good skins
I'm about to show your butt the skin of my tims.
They're Horween Leather.
[editline]31st January 2017[/editline]
still waiting on Megazord Reinhardt though
Zenyatta has no good skins
Zenyatta is the one hero who has like only good skins.
I'm still of the belief that Sunyatta is the best skin in the game.
Finally someone who shares the same belief. :v:
