Winston is just utter garbage though and Sombra is barely usable on some maps thanks to Blizzard Polish™ (for example, the hack constantly gets broken by invisible objects on King's Row).

I think Lucio wouldn't be required in comp if there was another hero that could provide speed boosts. Mercy needs to be able to overheal. Give Mercy something that can remove debuffs. Give Winston a better shield. That would shake the meta up a bit.

I rather help 4 other teammates than pick 1 hero to help 1 teammate. I just can't play zenyatta as a healer to save my life.

Literally the only hero who can save you from a zarya+Anyone else combo.
I've successfully solo-healed with Zen before. It's tough but it can be done.
The more I think about Genji's reflect the more i think it could have been a really neat ability for a tank or similar Rein-style front-liner

Zenn doesn't have the mobility of Mercy, but he doesn't really need it because his healing/damage boost doesn't require him to put himself in harms way. Zen doesn't contend with Mercy though. he's feuds with Lucio for second medic spot. Ana and Mercy are rivals and sadly right now Ana stomps Mercy.

Winston isn't garbage, he's just kinda niche
he could use improvement but in the right hands he can melt through the first half of Eichenwalde for instance

The only difference between a good and a bad Winston is if he dies within 3 seconds or 8 seconds of seeing the enemy (esp. by roadhog, I think my record is killing a Winston from full within 1.5 seconds of seeing him).
The only time I see him work on Eichenwalde is because the enemy team is retarded and panic leaves the choke when he starts to capture, followed by the point turning into a meat grinder.
Winston's great, but most of the time he'll need at least a Zarya to complement his diving.
