I hope at some point the team finds a roundabout way to make a reference to "Wrestle with Jeff, prepare for death" in-game [editline]6th February 2017[/editline] it could be like a poster for a professional wrestler hidden in a map or something
Have the new Doomfist's name be Jeff and add it as a voice line :v:
It's actually pretty impressive how Blizzard found a way to go several steps beyond Valve-caliber incompetence with Overwatch. Far more than a few steps if you count how awful their engine is.
It really sounds like you need a break, maybe play something less stressful for a little while. I find a bit of minecraft, or runescape, or civ, or cities skylines, or whatever, really helps with that.
I already took various breaks, I have fun with the game most of the times. The problem here is with me having to deal with other people, I'm not good with online games that require social interaction.

Big hypes, 2-3 years of lifespan, necromancy and perversion while the game dies a painful death and players get squished for money. Trust me, so many fucking broken toys left behind already it hurts.
I can't help feel its intentional that the movement sucks ass.
Some abilities don't even have correct fucking lag compensation, it's great. The hook is a good example because the hit detection, range check and LOS check all just seem to do their own thing, calculated against entirely different ticks and none of them appear to work correctly. For example, you can hook people practically across the entire map if the server is running like shit. You can kind of tell how bad it currently is by throwing a hook against a moving platform and seeing how far behind the platform on your screen is from the platform the hit detection is performed against (it doesn't appear to make any attempt to lagcomp anything but players, but it's kinda hard to tell for sure). You can also just hook anyone standing on said platforms straight through the bottom for some reason, the LOS check won't even kick in (any of the times I've done it, anyways) [editline]7th February 2017[/editline] But hey, at least it's so broken that the number of missed hits seems equal to the number of times it hits someone for no appearent reason.
Wish Overwatch didn't count leaving in the seconds after a match has ended as leaving "early" don't always want to stick around for POTG
you just have to wait until the "defeat" screen shows up.

I don't know why anyone would expect it to. We've had a bout 4 individual patches on changing how it functions. I don't think the engine is capable of making it not bullshit, but then oneshots of roadhog's calibur are bullshit by nature, so who knows.

For example, both Pharah's E and Lucios bop seem to fling people around as if they were quite a bit ahead of where they are on your screen when they land. Nobody expects either to be a high-precision instrument though, and they don't really need to be to fling someone off an edge, so it doesn't end up being a problem.

I kinda like Roadhog more now than ever, both as and against him.
I would also not object to fan the hammer annihilating things up close.
Why is there a slow-motion version of ana's ult. It sounds so stupid.
I'd take a roadhog nerf any day in exchange for consistency. The buff was just fixing the distance from the hog it put the victim at (before it seemed to be based on the chain length and was basically RNG as hell), which made him a whole lot more consistent already. They didn't actually fix the hit detection or anything though, they just added a LOS check so that it won't actually pull after it catches someone going around a corner or just plain registers a hit through the wall (I think it still does damage though). If they nerfed the left click a bit you'd have to do an actual combo to kill heroes like Reaper instead of blowing them to bits in 1 click.

I have every highlight intro for Genji. And am just missing one emote before I have every emote for Genji. Please stop Overwatch Jesus Christ. Why is it so hard to get a purple event item. Every purple has to be something for god damn Genji or a duplicate of the Tracer skin. Out of every purple event item I don't have you that you could possibly give me. Why do you make my event item a duplicate spray every single time. I can't wait till this event is over so I can take a long break. I'm tired of grinding for loot boxes and getting shit.
Potential nerf for lucio: Add a delay when switching between Healing / Speed. 3 sec or so. Might not do much but its something
Potential nerf for lucio: Add a delay when switching between Healing / Speed. 3 sec or so. Might not do much but its something
Please don't. I bound it to m3 for a reason.
why would you want to nerf lucio even further? he has already been hit pretty hard over multiple patches.
Well it clearly isn't doing enough cause he still has an extremely high pickrate
Well it clearly isn't doing enough cause he still has an extremely high pickrate
That doesn't really mean he deserves to get nerfed again though?...
his toolkit is so fundamentally strong that you'd have to nerf him into the ground to see his pickrates lowered as it stands now, not having a lucio is suicide because its the only way of providing a team wide mobility boost. that has so much utility its ridiculous.
Lucio is in a good spot right now, the issue is that there's no other character who can provide movement speed to their team which is really the only thing that's keeping Lucio as a must pick in comp.
Make Harmony orb give tiny bit of speed.
Today while playing OW I snuck up on someone doing a deadeye ult thinking that the horizontal range required it to be within the FOV of the player, and they had not realized I was there at all right behind them. 3 seconds later I get a killcam of them firing at nothing while looking down a corridor and I am the only one that died.
I mean Symmetra can technically speed up getting to the objective/where the fight's happening.
Honestly if you halved the amount of sentries you could put, placed the shield as her alt shot instead of the charge ball (or alternatively make sentry placement right click in order to make the cooldown for the shield more understandable) and made the teleporter her new E (such that the shield generator is her only ult), you'd see her get a lot more usage and overall be more enjoyable and unique to use as well as being more likely to be accepted as an alternative for a healer support. EDIT: No? Ok. Guess we'll just stay satisfied with the version who is a liability in comp and makes chokepoints like Hanamura's absolute hell in pubs.

Went into a mystery 6v6 round, and at the very end we had 3 Widowmakers at once. This is why Mystery Heroes is so flawed. They had a perfect composition while we had 4 snipers.
- Prepare (wheeze) for (Hog noises) death.
For some reason I read this in the voice of the wheelchair kid from Malcolm in the Middle
