It wasn't mad max music, that's the music that plays during Mei's Snowball Offensive. It's part of the gag where S76 is being all serious but it's actually just a snowball fight.

Does the custom game mode allow you to disable self-damage? (i.e. to have Quake/TF rocket jumping with Soldier 76 without making it a liability compared to just increased run speed)

I bumped in to a talkative group of 3 in quick play and I joined their group and we joked and played for like 3 or 4 hours, they added me on overwatch and discord too

that's what arcade mode is for, though, isn't it? if you just want to have a laugh and not really try, go to no limits
imo, quick play should be just as serious as competitive but without the stress of dealing with ranks or hyper-competitive teammates yelling at everyone

But when you take it that serious the stress and hyper competitive teammates are still there anyway
also no limits is pretty much built for stacking and exploiting game mechanics which quick play doesn't have

they should do what halo did and make it so you specify what type of people you like to play with in quick play.
ie "Play to have fun" or "Play to win" or somewhere in between. i'm tired of meeting people who say "IT'S QUICK PLAY FUCKING RELAX" when you ask people nicely to switch to a tank.
As the path of a D.va main goes, I managed to unbox D.va's gaming emote, bringing me one step closer to literal meme-hood.
