I'd love to RP with characters but I can't be bothered to do one that isn't in real-time, it just makes it more bothersome since you gotta wait indefinitely and lose interest

By real-time I mean that all players are interacting together at the same time, not post by post while waiting hours for a person to go online.

It's not bad as that IMO as the current Starpath RP usually has someone online that you can interact with till an event happens but I understand if its not your thing, it's very niche.

But if your looking for more traditional roleplay games then look then the D&D thread is the place to look as they include all types of roleplay games besides D&D.

Thanks, it was mainly inspired by Alagaesia (Eragon) and Midkemia (Riftwar Saga) alongside several of my own ideas.

I'd definitely suggest getting an Imgur account, going to your settings and setting it to high quality uploads. It'll preserve the file quality.

1960 would open up all of Africa from being decolonized

Personally I would prefer a later date in a Cold War rp rather than at the start. I feel as if, if done at the start it gives players the chance to "null" the Cold War. Though having the US and USSR as NPCs could probably negate that. I just think starting when it's fully under way would be more fun. (Coming from a guy who ran one from 1946)

1956 is when austria was unified, and to go as far back as possible for a euro centric rp id guess
