Screw you too game.
That you're the kind of person who'd buy another copy of the game to reset your MMR and match against players that are clearly far below your skill level.
Take it as a compliment, I guess? :v:
Sure? I mean, I wasn't even doing particularly well, I just had good timing with a few sound barriers, and their Soldier was getting really upset at me for wasting their tactical visor every time.
Like, so upset he stopped in place to type that, as I was shooting at him.

Player Icons taking space from the Event slot and loot is a crime.

The gold player icons are better than most of the skins in this update.

The fact that you can even get two of the same item in one loot box is pathetic and absurd and should never happen. I'm sure all it takes is one line of code
I'm started to hate Pharah more and more with each passing game. Its like she appears in every game and her only counter is aiming good. Thats on top of her ALWAYS having a Mercy glued to her at all times.
One thing you can try if Pharah is becoming a problem, is suggest one of your DPS go Zenyatta (or you can too if you're confident as Zenyatta), and keep her marked.
The extra damage she takes while marked makes aiming every shot perfectly much less important, and makes her a big target for the rest of your team too.
[editline]9th June 2017[/editline]
Plus, it is very, very hard for her to escape Zenyatta's sight on the maps she's best in (with very wide open spaces and tall map boundaries)
Even if she does lose the mark, she did so by hiding and not shooting at your team, thus briefly being useless to her own team. Keep harassing her like this and she might just switch.

It's quite amazing how you can join a team of 5 DPS characters stuck on the first point of Hanamura and somehow make it to the end and beat the other team.
Question: How do get gud at Zarya? I tried out Zarya for the first time in a long time and I didn't know what to do much :v:. (I only got 13 minutes on them)

Also I found Hanzo's Fisherdance taunt. Nice.
I'm not sure how the art team at blizzard can improve the game
Idk why you and the other user focus so much on the "how can the art team improve the game". My point was that Blizz is really quick at acknowledging user wishes with skins, lines and such. But when it comes to core aspects of the game like improving map design there hasn't been a single big change in over 1 year so far.
But when it comes to core aspects of the game like improving map design there hasn't been a single big change in over 1 year so far.
They added that hallway on Eichwalde, which upped my personal win rate by at least 20%. But, I think it takes way less play testing and man hours to make a skin than it does to make large map overhauls. Part of me thinks they're just very set in "these maps play well, just learn them better," which is unfortunate.
That's why I said big change. I know about the change on Eichenwalde but the map is still bad for attackers to deal with, like the majority of their maps.
It really seems Blizzard thinks their map design is flawless and that choke points are all fun for every player of the game. I can't imagine them to be this ignorant or delusional but they really might be. Or it's just inexperience because it's their first shooter. But they could at least listen to feedback towards the maps by players.
What kind of changes would you propose to maps, to make them good for attackers but not terrible to hold on? This game seems to have a fundamental design philosophy of "fun to play but not to play against." See; Winston, Mei, Zarya, Genji, Eichewalde Defense

One time I got a 4 dps comp in a competitive game and assumed we were going to lose but we curbstomped the other team and I ended 47-0. I realized that if you just kill the other team before they can damage you you don't need tanks and healers.

Sorry for this wall of text, I've added a TL;DR down there:
For me, main problems of the maps lie in not having more possibilities for attackers on maps like Hanamura, Temple of Anubis, Eichenwalde and such. Especially when it comes to the first point.
You are not able to flank, you are not able to try to catch enemy teams by surprise, they always see what anyone tries. Blizzard just gives a giant door and maybe a second entrance on the same side but only reachable by heroes with verticality. But it's always the same. You keep dying at the door until a lucky opportunity comes up, but until this opportunity comes up, it's just not fun trying to breach through while dying all the time. Give me some sideways. Defenders need to additionally manage more room but the attackers also have more chances to reach the point. It's beneficial for both teams. Additional issues but not as fundamentally important are: Spawnpoint positions for both teams and overtime. Spawn points seem strangely laid out like Hanamura's long ass way for defenders to get there. And sometimes for attackers like on Volskaya and Temple of Anubis. Current overtime still leads to too many choke points even though it's shorted.
And about the "fun to play but not to play against" quote, I dislike this philosophy that Blizz has adapted. Blizzard should have learned more from TF2. When Valve playtested TF2 they learned that players didn't like to be put into situations where they couldn't defend themselves, so Valve took out everything that could stun you. And what did Blizz do? Stuns, freezes, sleeping time. Every time you fight Mei in 1vs1, it's just frustrating and anti-fun because she just freezes you and then one-shots you down. This whole problem is also applied on the other gamemodes like Mayhem. Nobody wants to play attack because it's simply easier for defenders. Winston and Tracer just fuck everything up with their short cooldowns and the overtime.
TL;DR: More flanking, more surprise opportunities for attackers, reworking overtime and spawn point positions. Try to shorten choke points at giant door maps. Blizz should have learned more from TF2 by not giving anyone stuns.

Fuck this stupid ass system man
I love people who whine in quickplay and bring up ranks to try and brag and put down others.
I'm joking, I just feel really sad for them since people like that must lead really depressing lives.

At this point I think I'm going insane and the game is trying to speak with me.
It's very odd, and I think Blizzard just likes to screw with me.
One night I'll play around 4-5 games in Competitive, and I'll lose every single one. No matter how well my teammates or I do, I continue to lose.
Then I'll have games like last night where I actually have fun, enjoyable people (for the most part), and I win the majority of my games.
Anyone else have this?

It's very nice to see that they're all bffs
Anyone else have this?
Most of the games i've played have been either my teams gets absolutely stomped or we just steam roll their team. I don't mind losing if it was a good game but they are very few and far between.
Anyone else have this?
I tanked almost 200sr because by games logic reaching Diamond means I can solo carry weak plat+gold premades.
Also sheer amount of trolls and leavers.

Me and my friends had a loss-streak of like 7 games last week until we gave up because it was no fun.
This week we joked about our upcoming great matches for three stupid lootboxes.
We won every single mystery match in a row and got our three boxes.

I wouldn't trust him to hold anything without throwing it on the ground afterward
