The dipshit who was streaming throwing competitive games and encouraging people watching him to do the same has been suspended.

This guy was streaming himself throwing for 2 days straight. I'm glad Blizzard's tightening up on throwers, if you can't control your tantrums you've no place in competitive.
He also got his account banned from competitive play for the remainder of season 5, and apparently his team are getting him counseling/mental health help.

and I'm sure they will very much enjoy their 2 duplicate non-event legendaries.
Question: How do get gud at Zarya? I tried out Zarya for the first time in a long time and I didn't know what to do much :v:. (I only got 13 minutes on them)

Also I found Hanzo's Fisherdance taunt. Nice.
Sorry for the late reply, but I just hate seeing questions like this go unanswered.
Zarya benefits from aim that's more or less hitscan but with range. You're more effective when you don't play greedy for charge, especially since you have the ability to save your team from all sorts of CC. You also allow your teammates to escape bad situations, and bubbling eventually comes down to an instinct. If you bubble effectively, you'll build that charge.

I do not have a problem with lootboxes in retail games. I'd much rather have dumb meaningless cosmetic bullshit than oh look a season pass locking either maps or characters away from everyone else. Or piecemeal DLC without a season pass.
And of course I realize the argument is next "but the original cost of the game should cover all future costs for development" to which I say: that's not an argument. When you think about Overwatch essentially being made from the pieces of Project Titan, I would hesitate to even think they've recouped the money spent on developing both Project Titan, scrapping it, developing Overwatch and supporting it post release for the last ten years.
And then probably the next part of the argument is "But Blizzard have all these other games they don't need to nickel and dime Overwatch as well." The last expansion for WoW was so much a flop they stopped reporting on subscriber count, Diablo 3 hasn't had actual new paid-for content since Reaper of Souls release from three years ago, and are only just now bringing out a class add-on DLC. Starcraft 2 isn't very successful anymore, Heroes of the Storm inhabits a small corner of the MOBA genre currently dominated by Dota and LoL, and Hearthstone has its own share of problems.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of lootboxes, but out of every other option of post-release funds it's probably the least evil.
You can really tell its a double xp weekend when the general quality of games goes through the fucking floor

Someone posted a reddit post a few pages back and that made me look at the overwatch reddit and it's PRETTY TERRIBLE when it comes to speculation, praise, and criticism.
OW seems to be the only game that decides which update makes my pc crash and restart itself.
It really makes me want to give up on this game and unistall it
EDIT: Uh yeah the game really uninstalled itself on restart, thanks Blizzard?

In addition, try learning to use your bubble on teammates during the following situations:
- Your teammate just got hooked (Roadhog will shoot the shield and give you a BIG charge boost)
- The enemy is targeting Mercy (everyone will shoot at Mercy if she's in the open, bubble her for free charge)
- Winston or Genji drops into your back line (if you know who they're gunning for, shield that person to get charge)
- Tracer is harassing your team's snipers (the bubble will both help them survive/retaliate and give you charge)
- Your teammate wants to destroy a turret or Bastion up close (give it to them the instant they're under fire for both an easy kill and free charge)
Just to name a few, these are the most common scenarios. You'll naturally see more as time goes on.
I Zarya bubble allies when I think "man I'd shoot the shit out of that person if I were on the other team right now."
It tends to work pretty well. I could probably bubble more often but this method seems to give a nice mix of charge and keeping dudes alive.
Well I got my first event legendary, Graffiti Tracer
A good skin for a character I literally cannot play
I just want the Dune Buggy Bastion skin man

No Grandpa Reinhardt either.
God, I hate placement matches. They put me back in the world of Mercy mains. :frown:
how feasible would a gamemode be if you could only pick mercy
would anyone get killed? would anything get done?
how feasible would a gamemode be if you could only pick mercy

There are plenty of Mercy Paintball/Laser Tag custom games that just have it be a one-shot kill with each kill giving you full ult charge
Basically just up the damage values and it can be doable without one team being a flock of invincible seagulls

Really impressed with Sombra :O
Quickplay is fucking miserable right now, holy shit. Every other game's had at least four snipers.

That sounds normal.
I don't know why but this is the only game where, when I use a wireless adapter, I get unbearable lag. Every other game is fine, but my adapter doesnt' seem to play well with Overwatch.

Reminds me of Dark Souls III, where using a wireless adapter caused immense unbearable lag in that game, but was fine with most of my other games.
I recommend getting a Powerline Adapter. Basically extends your ethernet connection wirelessly, allowing much more stable connections. Once you try it, you'll never want to go back to wifi again. :v:

I've had a huge issue with my mobo and wireless adapters. The powerline adapter was suggested awhile ago but didn't work for me since I live at home in a moderately large house. USB adapters don't work for me due to an issue with USB 3.0 on my motherboard which causes constant packet losses every 5-6 pings. The last option was an internal pcie wireless adapter that was actually good. So far, it's doing amazing in everything except overwatch.
Gotta love being frozen by Mei, knocked into a wall by Pharah, slept by Ana, frozen again, and killed by Genji.
Blizzard your love for stunlock without chance of escape is incredible.
Had a string of really good comp teams today after finding out that Lucio is my true calling, and finally placed into Plat for once, no more having to scrape my way up from high gold
The question is, do I try to get to diamond?
Oh dear...
